Looks like a large egg beater. I bought it to help mix grains in the Mash and mix in the priming sugar before bottling. It's one solid unit so no hidden arms or joints for bacteria to hide. Seems simple to clean and Star San does the rest.

Just love it. I've been so happy with this thing! It's very well made, nice welds with nice stiff steel, highly polished and the perfect length for my 20 gallon mash tun. I do wish the hex drive end was 3/8" so as to fit a little easier in my 3/8" or 1/2" drill chucks, but that is just a minor complaint. Once it's in the chuck and secured, it's all fun from there. I mash in about 120lbs of grain per month, and it's been a real joy to use. Great unit, thanks!
