River Beer Flash Brewing® Kit
River Beer is designed to bridge the gap between ultra-light beers and more flavorful everyday styles. Built on a bespoke Flash Malt base featuring pilsner malt, rice, and a touch of dextrin malt, it delivers a smooth, rounded malt profile with a little more body and character than expected, while still finishing clean and refreshing.
A restrained addition of Cascade Cryo Hops adds gentle citrus notes and slightly elevated hop flavor compared to classic light beers, giving River Beer a bit more personality without sacrificing drinkability. The result is a clean, crisp beer that drinks easy but never feels thin.
Like all Flash Brewing kits, River Beer ferments cleanly across a wide temperature range, from typical room temperatures into warmer fermentation conditions. This makes it well suited for fast, straightforward fermentations without the need for strict temperature control.

Typically, brewing requires you to boil your malt and hops for one hour, followed by another hour for cooling. Flash Brewing® eliminates the need to boil. Our Flash Brewing® malt recipes have been boiled and whirlpooled before they are dried. We then use a HopBite™ shot for bitterness combined with a mix of traditional hop pellets for flavor. Flash Yeast™ starts quickly and consistently produces clean beer that lets the malt and hops shine. The result is a high-quality beer that will absolutely surprise you.

Equipment Required for Flash Brewing®
Flash Brews can be fermented in any wide mouth 6 or 7-gallon fermenter you already own. We suggest a wide mouth fermenter so you can easily pour in the ingredients.
