Works perfectly to seal the torpedo connector to tubing.

Can't get enough of these flared washers. I change them out once a year and I also keep losing them. I've never had a problem with them.

Bought these as part of a roll-your-own spunding valve assembly. They may be the essential component for gas-tight fittings.

This lowly nylon washer is all that stands between you, and losing your whole tank of precious CO2.Flare fittings aren't all equal - some are machined better than others (MoreBeer's are pretty good). A tiny bit out of tolerance, and your gas connections will leak.Remember CO2 leaks only happen when you've invited all your friends over to taste your latest tasty brew. Be prepared.Unfortunately, these washers are easy to lose - I know!. So buy a dozen, and keep 'em handy - like in your toolbox - because you WILL need them someday.

I find these to be common on several brewing products by different manufactures. When you lose the one you have whatever the product is will either leak gas or fluid. At this price make sure you have some extra on hand.

Buy a bunch. Running out can ruin your plans for the day

I have had these on my faucets for some time and they are still working just fine.

I thought the metal on metal on the flare fittings would work but turned out I needed some help, It looks like these guys did the trick.
