        Cane doesn't fit correctly.

Cane has a very difficult time making its way to the bottom of the tube. Too tight. Unlike others I've had.

        This thing is HUGE!

This is a really nice auto siphon and it works well. However, be aware that it is too large to fit into standard 1 gal (?38mm cap) glass jugs. Works great on 3, 5, & 6 gallon fermenters. But, if you're looking for something to use with the normal 1 gallon jugs, you need something a little smaller in diameter.

Works well but wish it had a clip to hold it off the bottom.

Works well, once you figure it out

The instructions were not as clear as I would have liked, so it took some time to figure out how to use the siphon correctly. But I started with a bucket of plain water to try it out, so that was fine. Once I realized that you had to close the siphon all the way to get the flow to keep going continuously, it became easy to use and worked like a charm. Very happy with the purchase, especially for the price.

        3/8” racking cane

Bought the 3/8” cane and tubing to address an issue I was having with my two Ferrari fillers. My 1/2” was supplying too much pressure. The 3/8 worked great on one, the other pump is defective

Bought racking cane because I didn't want to drill hole in pet fermenter, works fine. Allows you to get less trub from fermenter, but may take slightly longer to transfer.

        Great siphon

Great siphon. It pulls a clear product and all of it from the car boy. No waste.

So it works as described, makes the job of moving my beer around a whole lot easier!

Originally bought the 1/2” siphon a bit ago, but it never worked properly. We found a tear in the rubber part of the cane, which explained why it didn’t work...so we opted for the 3/8” rather than risking more bad outcomes.

Works well, but be careful cleaning

A little larger in diameter than the 3/8 inch Auto Siphon, the Easy Siphon works well. However, the first time I cleaned it, I tried to flush some trub out from the end using a hose. I blew out the little valve in the bottom that creates a seal. I then managed to break the little pieces off of the valve trying to re-seat it. MoreBeer replaced right away, due to their second-to-none customer service. Definitely don't flush from the bottom when cleaning, otherwise a good product.

        Easy Siphon

I used the cheap siphon my kit came with once and decided to buy this one. This one is much easier to use. I've made 8 batches with it so far and it's held up fine.

        Must Have

This is an awesome piece of equipment, significantly better than submerging the racking cane and tubing into a bucket of sanitizer to start the siphon. Saves time and mess. I waited way too long before adopting this. Don't waste any more of your time - get it!

        must have

Easy and simple, and sure beats just using a hose. Only thing better might be using pumps and a closed system.

        Makes siphoning easy.

I have had great luck with this 3/8" Easy Siphon. I used to use the 1/2" version because it siphons quicker, but after a few uses the one-way valve which allows the pumping action to work became stuck open. I fixed it, but a couple siphons later it broke again. I'm not sure if the valve just wore out or if the increased flow or larger diameter of the tube had anything to do with the problem. All I know is that this 3/8" version has worked great every time. Love it!

        Does what it's supposed to

Easy peasy to use. Good quality. And the siphon tip helps keep trub out of my keg by making sure I don't bottom out in my bottling bucket or carboy.

        Rack it up!

This is a great way to transfer your wort, or finished beer. It's cheap and easy to get replacement tubing.Keep it clean and sanitary and it will last the test of time. Had I not stepped on my first one from 7 years ago I would still be using it today. Lucky for me replacements are not too expensive.

Well worth it over plain racking cane

My brewing experience started with a plain racking cane, but I was never fond of that experience to get the siphon started. This is a well-priced upgrade, which makes racking much more controlled. Less wastage and mess here. Easy enough to sanitize. Mine has been reliable for years.

        Low-tech and easy

No bells and whistles here. Very straightforward self-starting siphon that saves a huge amount of time and aggravation of starting a siphon.
