Duotight Push-In Fitting | 9.5 mm (3/8") x 1/2" BSP

    Description

    This Duotight to 1/2" female thread fitting can be used to connect beverage or gas line to fittings with 1/2" male threading. Compatible with EVABarrier 9.5 mm OD Tubing (D1719).

    Duotight offers superior quality when compared to other push-in fittings. Their double EPDM O-ring design provides a more complete and reliable seal, protecting against leaks even when tubing is bent around tight corners. They are suitable for both beverage and gas applications, and are pressure rated to 100 psi. Tubing can be released by simply pushing in the collet and pulling the line out. No need for clamps or cutting lines!

    Features:
    • Insert tubing and firmly push to connect
    • Easily release tubing by pushing in the collet
    • Suitable for both gas & beverage applications
    • Made from food-grade acetal plastic
    • Double O-rings made from highly chemical resistant EPDM
    • Locking teeth made from stainless steel
    • Pressure rated to 150 psi
    • Temperature rated to 212°F (100°C)

    Please note: exposure to chlorine will degrade the acetal plastic and stainless steel these fittings are made from. Do not use in contact with bleach or other chlorinated cleaning chemicals.

        Does this work with SS or copper 3/8 tubes (Immersion chiller) as well?

        Yes. This works best with flexible tubing but can be used on any straight and smooth pipe where the OD of the pipe matches the ID of the fitting.

        They do not have a 5/16 x 1/2 but you can use a reducer. You will have poor performance expanding though.

        Hi Charles Unfortunately no. But Morebeer does sell a 9.5 to 8mm Duotight reducer (DUO105) that may work for your application.
