Great for using a plastic bottle for cleaning lines. Pair with the "T" piece and another disconnect.
This is much better than the older original design that did not have the DuoTight compatible barb type fitting. I also appreciate that it is available in two colors. Although it is designed to connect to either a Gas QD or a Beverage QD, I am glad that it is available in two colors. I use Red for Gas and Yellow for Beverage which follows the typical DuoTight QD color scheme.
I thought I would have a separate set for bottling under pressure
Works great, easy to use.
This Carbonation and Line Cleaning Ball Lock Quick Disconnect works GREAT. It works on both gas and liquid disconnect. I use them for cleaning the disconnect and lines attached to them. I will be ordering more on my next order with More Beer. They work GREAT.
They work even better than the stainless ones for half the price and now I can keep Several Different Beverages highly carbonated in my fridge :-) GOOD JOB
I have a few of them. Stick one on a ball lock QD to let it flush while applying pressure with another one at the other end. I do have a couple of the stainless steel versions but now I wish I had just stuck with these plastic ones.
works great, would buy again
These are easier to get a good seal than the metal ones
they work well. good seal, holds pressure
It’s great to have a few of these around for cleaning etc
I think these work way better than stainless when utilizing a FermZilla—the seal is tight and there are no O-rings that can fail. And this is after using stainless steel for years.
I use this along with a Sawyer squeeze bag to push hot water and cleaner through my kegerator tubes. It does not leak, although it can be a bit difficult to latch with some of my ball lock connectors. I also have two of these on my Fermzilla All-Rounder. I could probably also use it to fill up brown PET bottles from a keg, but I haven’t tried that yet. Love these.
Using it for making small batch pop, mineral water and craft cocktails
If you're sick of CarbCaps forming a crappy seal and/or breaking outright, welcome to the future. This puppy interfaces relatively easily with gas and liquid ball locks, forms a very good seal with absolutely no effort (no need to over-tighten whatsoever), and is just a super hand way to, say, run sanitizer through beer lineGrab a few
These work very well. However it would be great if you would have also included the part numbers for the tubing that fit the this ballock connector.
Its good except the bottle must have a perfect top edge, otherwise it won't seal tight.
Great product Works as it should would recommend
Nice cheap alternative to metal.
great investment. I use with and without a 32oz spray bottle
The poppet pin seems to seat quite below the top of the quick disconnect. Is this normal? Do I have the poppet installed in the wrong direction?
Pressure fermentation kit for 5 gal pin lock keg?
Does this come apart for cleaning?
what is the PSI rating?
The rating is not indicated but I have carbonated many 2 liter bottles filled with water to between 10 and 20 psi. It has not failed me and is going strong.
Will this fit the sides of the x1 collection jar?
Looks like I should since it fits commercial PET soda/water bottles. The spec for the side port of the collector states “ 28 mm PCO 1881 threaded side ports” which it seems is what those bottle threads are from what I can tell.
