Are these really the exact brewery recipes?
Yes! For our official collaborations, we work directly with legendary brewers like Vinnie Cilurzo (Russian River) and Jamil Zainasheff (Heretic) to scale their award-winning commercial recipes down perfectly for 5-gallon homebrew batches.
Should I choose Extract or All-Grain?
If you are new to brewing, Extract is the best place to start. It skips the complex mashing step by using condensed malt syrups, saving you hours while still producing phenomenal beer. All-Grain is for advanced brewers who want total control over extracting sugars from raw grain from scratch.
What equipment do I need to start?
If you're starting from zero, our Premium or Flash Starter Kits have everything you need to brew extract recipes, including a fermenter, sanitation supplies, and tubing. The only thing you'll need to save up are empty pop-top beer bottles!
How much beer does one recipe kit make?
Our standard recipe kits make 5 gallons of finished beer. That translates to about 48 to 50 twelve-ounce bottles, which is roughly two full cases of beer!
