Upgrade your MKII Magnetic Drive Pump with a stainless steel pump head that quickly & easily installs via 3" tri-clamp T.C. connection allows the pump head to be oriented at any angle in a full 360-degrees Pull ring PRV at the pump outlet makes it easy to purge air and prime the pump before each use Inline flow path for smooth integration into your brewery while keeping your tubing lines tidy Stainless steel head with 1.5" T.C. ports to attach your preferred 1.5" tri-clamp fittings Upgrade your MKII Magnetic Drive Pump with a stainless steel inline pump head! The TC Breakdown Brewing Pump Head provides several advantages over the standard MKII pump head, first and foremost being it's made of stainless steel instead of plastic. This allows for much easier installment of fittings without the risk of breaking off the plastic inlet or outlet. It will also convert the pump head from "Center Inlet" to "Inline" flow path which can make it much easier to integrate into your brewery and keep your brewing hoses tidy. At the outlet of the pump, there is a very handy pull ring PRV that allows you to bleed liquor or wort from the pump head to release trapped air and prime the pump. But what some MKII users might find most exciting about this upgrade kit is that it converts the pump head connection to 3" tri-clamp! Not only do you have a full 360-degrees to orient the pump head any which way, cleaning the pump after use has never been easier—just pop off the tri-clamp, wash out the pump head, and clamp back on. This upgrade kit is only compatible with the 25-Watt MKII pump (PMP50). It will not fit the larger 65-Watt MKII or the Blichmann Engineering RipTide pump. If you don't already own the 25-Watt MKII, you can purchase it with the T.C. pump head already installed here. Tri-Clamp Pump Head The T.C. pump head can be removed quickly and easily using the 3" tri-clamp. This means no drivers or power drills are needed to back out the six Phillips head screws that mount the pump head on the standard version of the MKII. Whip the head off in a flash to clear out spent grain, hop material, or clear a blockage. Attaching the pump head with a tri-clamp also allows the head to be rotated at any angle in a full 360-degrees. This makes it easy to configure the plumbing to your unique brewery setup. Inline Design An "inline" pump head simply means the input and output are on a straight horizontal line with one another which can make it easier to integrate into your brewery setup. If you're using a 3-vessel horizontal system, the inline pump head will make it easier to keep your hoses neat and tidy compared to pumps heads with a center inlet. PRV Purge Valve The corny keg style PRV will make priming the pump a breeze. Simply let bleed the pump head to purge air out before turning the pump on and you'll avoid any cavitation issues. The PRV also acts as a safety so you do not over pressurize your pump head or brewery system. 304 Stainless Steel The entire pump head is made from 304 grade stainless steel so it's highly resistant to chemicals, heat, and physical abuse. Even with perfectly balanced draft lines, first pour foam is sometimes unavoidable simply due to the temperature of the faucet itself. Running beer through the faucet will drop the temperature, and the foaming will subside, but not without a bit of wasted beer from pouring off excess head. This means that liquid passes by the shuttle with very little resistance, allowing highly carbonated beers or hard seltzers to pour like a dream. Sanitary Design The NukaShuttle is the world’s first seamless single-piece design. Traditional taps feature an o-ring seated on a stainless steel shuttle, which can cause a couple of issues. After many pours, the stainless shuttle rubbing against the internal body of the faucet will create small fissures that become potential infection sites, and the seated o-ring can be difficult to clean in place, making your draft cleaning and sanitizing process less effective than you realize. The NukaShuttle is an advanced TPV rubber matrix that has been seamlessly formed over a durable PP skeleton. This single-piece design eliminates the pitfalls of older manufacturing methods, making it one of the most sanitary faucets on the market. Forward Sealing vs. Rear Sealing From tap rooms to home bars, forward-sealing faucets are the ideal choice for any draft setup. In traditional rear-sealing taps, beer will drain out of the entire faucet when it's in the closed position. This means the internal mechanism is coated in beer, which then dries and becomes a sticky residue. Forward-sealing faucets, on the other hand, keep the tap full of beer so it never has a chance to dry and gunk up the internal parts. This makes the faucet much easier to clean and also reduces the chance of off flavors transferring to your beer while you pour. It gave home brewers and craft brewers the ability to get into small scale canning while still maintaining very low DO, seam tightness and lock in beverage quality. Since then, the Cannular canning machines have become the world's most popular canning machines ever manufactured, selling worldwide in America, Europe, UK, New Zealand and Australia. On the back of this success KegLand then has further built the Cannular brand name to deliver a Semi-Auto canning machine and now is delighted to bring out the Cannular Full Auto Single Lane Canning Line. In essence with the whole Cannular range it depends on fundamentally simple processes and when combined with modern engineering provides an elegantly simple solution to small scale packaging. The Cannular Fully Auto Single Lane Packaging Line will suit a small to medium sized brewery doing batches from 10bbl and up to 40bbl. Compact Size The compact footprint means this canning line is almost the size of a standard pallet so it can be stowed into pallet racking or wheeled out of the way easily. Hardened Chuck The chucks on this machine are made from Cr12MoV which is then coated with Titanium. This grade has superior hardness so it can last an extremely long time without needing to re-tune the machine or change the chuck. The hardness is 58-62 dH. If you are particularly concerned about corrosion of the chuck, KegLand can also custom make stainless steel chucks on request. For stainless steel chucks they can use the Quench Polish Quench process to harden the stainless steel. It should be noted that the stainless chuck is more expensive and is less hard than the Cr12MoV alloy and as a result we do not normally recommend this alternative but it can be manufactured if requested. Setup and Washdown As the machine is fairly compact the wash down is extremely simple. The whole operating deck can be washed down with a hose and the chassis is mounted with an oversized drip tray to catch stray drips from the filling process. The deck can also be plumbed to drain so cleaning in place (CIP) can be implemented. All wet areas are made from nylon, Teflon and 304 stainless steel. Maintenance Made with European pneumatics, electronic controllers, flow sensors and industrial grade PLC you can be confident that all components are built to last the distance and designed to handle millions of cans before requiring an overhaul. We recommend that tolerances are checked on the rolls and chuck every 100,000 cans and lubricate some of the pneumatics. Fortunately, all spare parts are supplied by KegLand so you know you're not going to get the shaft on replacement parts in the unlikely instance that you need them. No major overhauls will be required until well over 1 million cans have gone through this machine and even when that time comes the maintenance procedures are relatively straight forward. Significant CPM for the Footprint This canning line is able to package 15 cans per minute making this the highest output machine ever manufactured within this small footprint. Low Labor Cost As this machine is relatively simple to run, one operator can load cans and lids into the respective hoppers and also package cans from the output of the machine.
