These stainless short shanks are typically used for attaching faucets to a KOMOS® Cobra style draft tower. The threaded section measures 25mm in length (0.98").
Please Note: When installing Cobra Tower Shanks onto the tower, some exposed threading is normal due to the tower's design and does not impact sealing performance. For a cleaner, professional aesthetic, we recommend using a shank spacer to cover the threads and provide a flush finish against the tower surface.

Installation note: On a fridge there is generally no coolant lines running through the door but please check to see there are no lines connecting the door and the rest of the refrigerator. To test for coolant lines on a freezer start with a warm freezer then plug the unit in with the lid open. The KOMOS stainless S-Style coupler is built for European brand kegs including Heineken, Newcastle, Pilsner Urquell, and Stella Artois. Featuring stainless steel body and stainless steel probe, this keg tap is made to last. The coupler comes without fittings so it can be adapted however you sees fit. When assembling, insert the rubber "duck bill" check valve into the side gas-in port. The check ball and ball retainer are placed in the top beverage-out port.
Both gas-in and bev-out ports come bare so you can fit it out exactly how you want it. Maybe you like a larger gas line and smaller beer line—no problem. Or perhaps you're ready to take your draft system into the 21st century with EVABarrier draft tubing and Duotight push-to-connect fittings. Whatever floats your boat, keep your draft setup anchored with the KOMOS keg coupler.
The Green corny keg-style PRV is rated to 4.5 BAR (65 psi). It can be swapped out with PRVs with a higher or lower pressure rating if desired. Always check the pressure rating of your keg before swapping PRVs.
1/4" tailpieces are ideally used with 3/16" draft line for a tight fit. If you'd prefer to use a different size tubing, the KOMOS coupler can also be purchased bare so you can mix and match your preferred tailpiece sizes. Tailpieces are fittings which connect beer and gas tubing to the different parts of a draft system. One side of the tailpiece features a barb to connect the tubing to, and the other side is held against the tap or faucet shank with collar nut. Tailpieces are available in a range of barb sizes to fit up to your tubing size. Stainless steel construction means these pieces won’t rust or harbor bacteria that can ruin the taste of your beer. The included high-quality KOMOS CO2 regulator maintains consistent pressure and features a blow-off PRV with pull ring for safety and to relieve pressure, rubber coated gauges, and a hand knob for easy adjustment. Many kegerator brands will include the cheapest regulator they can find, and while these regulators may work OK out of the box, they will eventually show signs of pressure creep which can lead to foamy beer and other issues with your draft system. The KOMOS Double-Wide Kegerator has the largest interior capacity of any home kegerator on the market. With an extra wide design, this unit can hold up to eight 5-gallon Slimline Torpedo Kegs or Pepsi-style Ball Lock Kegs. This version does not include a tower kit. Great as a fermenation refrigerator or as a unit that can be built-in when adequate ventilation is an option. Approximately 2-3" of space on each side of the kegerator is required to allow the unit enough air. The tower is then mounted to the countertop and often a pvc collar or foam insulation is placed between the kegerator and the counter. This can also be done with any of our regular kegerators by removing the tower from the unit and mounting it on the counter. Other features you'll love about the KOMOS Kegerator include its highly-efficient cooling capacity so you'll be serving ice cold beer even in the warmest temperatures, extra wide temperature range from 26–82°F, dual gas inlets at the back, aluminum internal floor, rolling casters, and the included KOMOS Dual Gauge CO2 regulator.
The most eye-catching difference between the KOMOS Double-Wide and other kegerators is definitely the capacity. With an extra wide interior and double tower configuration, this is likely the only home kegerator you'll find that can hold up to eight 5-gallon Slimline Torpedo or Ball Lock Corny kegs.
Dual gas line inlets are absolutely clutch if you want to serve beverages at two different pressures or use two different types of gas. Many kegerators only have one inlet that is only wide enough for a single line to pass through. Both inlets on the back of the KOMOS unit are just over 3/4" in diameter and feature PCO 1881 threads. This threading allows you to use the plastic Carbonation Ball Lock Cap (FE13) as a quick connect option for your gas lines.
Upgraded condenser, evaporator, and insulation make this unit highly efficient, yet quiet, so you can serve ice cold beer in even the warmest temperatures. The unique internal fan provides excellent air circulation, pulling cold air from below the evaporator and blowing it back over the top of your kegs and up into the towers to chill your draft lines.

The KOMOS Homebrew Kegging Kit has everything you need to start enjoying your delicious creations on draft. Whether you've brewed one batch or one hundred batches, you're already familiar with the laborious process of bottling your beer. Cleaning, sanitizing, filling and capping 50+ 12 oz bottles can take a lot of time and effort. The very first thing you'll appreciate when switching to kegging is that there's only one vessel you need to worry about. But it's still no comparison to the pleasure of pouring a glass of beer straight from the tap!
From tank to tap, this kegging kit is made from the highest-quality components, starting with a brand new KOMOS 5 lb CO2 tank and KOMOS Dual Gauge Regulator. Choose from 2.5 or 5 gallon Ball Lock Corny Keg. These brand-new kegs are made in the style of the iconic Cornelius homebrew keg with rubber base and molded rubber handles at the top. Everything it connected with EVABarrier draft tubing and Duotight push-to-connect fittings. EVABarrier is our draft line of choice due to the double-walled design that protects your beer from oxygen ingress and CO2 loss. Duotight fittings make everything come together quickly and easily—and they're just as easy to disconnect if you need to clean or reconfigure your setup.

The KOMOS Deluxe Kegerator model boasts the same features as the standard model with an eye-catching stainless steel extrerior and upgraded stainless steel drip tray. The interior is designed to fit up to four 5-gallon ball lock kegs at one time. This unit represents an amazing value in home draft dispensing. It features a digital controller, stainless door and exterior, aluminum floor, rolling casters, robust KOMOS CO2 regulator, and more. This version does not include a tower kit. Great as a fermenation refrigerator or as a unit that can be built-in when adequate ventilation is an option. Approximately 4" of space on each side of the kegerator is required to allow the unit enough air. The tower is then mounted to the countertop and often a pvc collar or foam insulation is placed between the kegerator and the counter. This can also be done with any of our regular kegerators by removing the tower from the unit and mounting it on the counter. The most eye-catching difference between this unit and the previous model is definitely the capacity. This is the first kegerator we have offered that can fit up to four 5-gallon homebrew kegs at one time, and that’s all thanks to the redesigned interior. Most kegerators position the compressor on the right or left side of the inside floor, making one side shallower than the other. The KOMOS kegerator positions the compressor in the middle so both sides of the interior have an equal depth. This seemingly small detail allows the unit to hold up to four 5-gallon Slimline Torpedo or Ball Lock Corny kegs. Dual gas line inlets are absolutely clutch if you want to serve beverages at two different pressures or use two different types of gas. The previous model had one inlet that was only wide enough for a single line to pass through. Now both inlets are just over 3/4" in diameter and feature PCO 1881 threads. This threading allows you to use the plastic Carbonation Ball Lock Cap (FE13) as a quick connect option for your gas lines. Improvements to the condenser, evaporator, and insulation means the KOMOS kegerator is more efficient than ever before. It also features a redesigned internal fan for improved air circulation, pulling cold air from below the evaporator and blowing it back over the top of your kegs and up into the tower to chill your draft lines. Extra Wide Temperature Range is Perfect for Homebrewers The KOMOS kegerator is tailored to a homebrewer's needs. Take, for example, the extended range digital controller with an adjustable temperature range from 26 - 82°F. This allows homebrewers to use as fermentation chamber and is something that other kegerators don't do. Although the unit does not provide heating, the extended range allows you to program the internal temperature at say an ale fermentation temp of 68°F and will provide cooling whenever the temp rises above that set point. With the insulation provided by the kegerator, heating should rarely be needed, but you can always place a low wattage heat wrap inside the unit if ever needed. The digital controller always displays the temperature and is easily adjusted from the front of the kegerator with the door closed. It's pretty nice. Added Features One of the unique features on a kegerator in this price range is the tower fan, which blows cold air up into your tower to reduce foaming issues. They also come standard with the KOMOS dual gauge CO2 regulator, which is super beefy and consistent in delivering accurate pressures. Most Chinese-made regulators experience creep where the pressure increases over time. The KOMOS regulator is by far the best CO2 regulator we have seen made in China. The countertop drip tray couldn't be easier to keep clean. Built-in drip trays look cool, but they're a pain to keep clean. Before long they get pretty disgusting with dried, spilled beer -- attracting fruit flies and becoming a haven for mold and bacteria to grow. These specially designed shank brackets from KegLand are a great accessory to pair with the Square Draft Coils for your custom jockey box build. The retention brackets will secure the coils in place so they don't come spilling out when you empty the ice slurry from your jockey box after use.
Use the brackets as a guide to mark where to install your draft shanks, then mount them above the square coils and secure in place with the shank hex nuts.
