Sample Valve for Speidel Tanks which are equipped with a DIN10 male threaded fitting in the tank wall. Tanks larger than 290L which we order for regular stock during wine season are equipped with a single DIN10 fitting, which comes capped. This fitting will accomodate either this Sample Valve or a DIN10 Thermowell. This item is not intended for use with tanks ordered as part of our PreSeason Sale. If you did not order a GERT or GERSV option then your tank does not have the required DIN10 male fitting on it. We cannot weld this fitting in to your tank wall. However, if you ordered the GERT on your PreSeason Tank then you can replace the Thermowell with this Sample Valve.

Chrome plated brass shank comes with a back nut, plastic collar, and a welded 3/16" nipple. This beer shank is a popular choice for building your own custom draft system. Typically installed in the door of a refrigerator or the wooden collar of a converted chest freezer.
The shank’s listed size refers to the total length of threaded pipe. Approximately 1-1/8” are needed to account for the thickness of the finishing collar on the front and the space for the locknut on the back. Please take this into account when sizing the shank for your project.
Installation Note: On a fridge there are generally no coolant lines running through the door but please check to see there are no lines connecting the door and the rest of the refrigerator. To test for coolant lines on a freezer start with a warm freezer then plug the unit in with the lid open. You should be able to see the lines form condensation on the inside of the freezer where there are lines running. Please still use caution when drilling.

Ultra-High Zinc Concentration: Provides 5.5–6.5% bioavailable elemental zinc—one of the highest yeast-bound concentrations available for maximum metabolic activation.
Enhanced Fermentation Kinetics: Accelerates sugar metabolism and ethanol conversion for faster attenuation and a significantly reduced lag phase.
Superior Yeast Health: Stabilizes cell membranes and reinforces stress tolerance, ensuring high viability in high-gravity brews and repitched batches.
Optimized Flavor Profile: Promotes clean fermentation by reducing harsh fusels and balancing ester production for a more refined finished product.
Absolute optimum value for delivering zinc to your yeast.
CellarScience FermZn Plus is an advanced yeast-derived nutrient designed to correct zinc deficiencies and restore complete fermentation performance. Zinc is one of the most critical trace elements in brewing and fermentation science it serves as a catalytic cofactor for key enzymes, including alcohol dehydrogenase, which is essential for ethanol production and redox balance. Yeast cells depend on zinc to stabilize cellular membranes, regulate stress-response proteins, and maintain the structural integrity of enzyme complexes involved in sugar metabolism. When zinc is limited, fermentation slows, higher alcohols and esters become unbalanced, and yeast viability declines especially in high-gravity or repitched conditions.
FermZn Plus delivers an exceptionally concentrated level of zinc 5.5–6.5 % w/w elemental content—representing one of the highest bioavailable zinc concentrations achievable in a yeast-bound form. This massive zinc load ensures full metabolic activation of zinc-dependent enzymes, stabilizes cellular membranes, and enhances redox control, even in the most demanding high-gravity or nutrient-limited fermentations.
By supplying zinc in a yeast-bound, bioavailable form, FermZn Plus bypasses the poor solubility of inorganic zinc salts, allowing yeast to uptake and utilize it efficiently throughout the entire fermentation cycle. The result is faster attenuation, reduced lag phase, cleaner flavor development, and healthier yeast for subsequent repitches.
Bioavailable Zinc Complex: Delivers 5.5–6.5 % w/w elemental zinc bound within a yeast matrix for direct metabolic utilization among the highest yeast-bound zinc concentrations in fermentation science.
Supports Alcohol Dehydrogenase Activity: Enhances the enzymatic conversion of acetaldehyde to ethanol for complete fermentation and reduced off-flavors.
Accelerates Sugar Metabolism: Improves glycolytic pathway efficiency, leading to faster attenuation and reduced residual sugars.
Protects Yeast Cell Structure: Reinforces membrane stability, improving osmotic and ethanol tolerance under stress.
Improves Repitching Viability: Maintains intracellular zinc reserves for consistent fermentation performance across multiple generations.
Optimizes Flavor Balance: Reduces harsh fusel formation while promoting desirable ester synthesis for a refined fermentation profile.
YAN Neutral: Provides essential micronutrients without altering total nitrogen contribution or impacting nutrient balance.
Recommended Usage
Dose: 0.5–1 g/hL (0.019–0.038 g/gal), adjusted based on wort gravity and yeast stress level

This flat lid with pre-drilled holes allows you to easily add a Temp Twister Cooling Coil to your 35L Bucket Buddy fermenter. It also has holes for your stopper & airlock (included with the Bucket Buddy) as well as a Thermowell so you can control the circulation of cooling solution with a Temperature Controller. The lid is also compatible with 65L BrewZillas and DigiBoils. If you're fermenting in the Bucket Buddy with built-in heating element, we recommend plugging the unit into the heating outlet of your temperature controller and leaving the power switch turned on. This will allow the temp controller to provide power to the unit only when heating is needed and it will cut the power as soon as you're back to your set temperature. Using the Bucket Buddy's controller to maintain the heating set temp and using a separate controller to maintain the cooling may result in heating and cooling cycling at the same time. NOTE: The pre-drilled holes are meant for specific sizes of Duotight bulkheads and the stopper included with the Bucket Buddy fermenter. All holes need to be occupied in order to protect your fermentation from outside contaminants. Depending on the placement of the Temp Twister, you might need to shorten the inlet/outlet tubes on the outside of the fermenter using a Pipe Cutter. Lid only. Other accessories must be purchased separately. You Will Also Need: Temp Twister Cooling Coil FermZilla Thermowell Temperature Controller KegLand Part Number: KL28110

Although it is listed as one of the original six red grapes of Bordeaux, Carménère is all but impossible to find in France today. After a phylloxera plague in the mid-19th century, the vines were nearly all destroyed in Europe and presumed extinct. But the grape lived on, unbeknownst to anyone, in the grape growing regions of Chile where some speculate it was mistaken for Merlot and thus unwittingly preserved over the last 150 years. Indeed the two grapes share a common ancestor and are strikingly similar in appearance. Commonly used as a blending grape, but as a varietal wine Carménère is known for its deep red color, gentle tannins, and fruit-forward character with earthy notes. Growing Carménère is all but unheard of in Bordeaux today, but the grape has thrived in the vineyards of Chile where it has become the country’s leading red grape. The resulting wine is a full-bodied, dry red with aromas and flavors of red fruit and berries, plum, and floral notes. Our Chile Carménère follows the classic description, characterized by flavors of raspberry, red cherry, and plum. Medium-bodied and dry with a moderate oak presence. This red wine weighs in at the higher end of the spectrum with an alcohol level of 13.5% by volume. This Carmenere wine kit includes medium toast French oak chips. Medium toast French oak is subtle and provides refined flavors of custard, chocolate, and spice. French oak in general is often used by winemakers when they want to increase the mouthfeel and complexity of a wine without stepping on or suppressing the fruit. Alcohol tolerance up to 18% ABV
Filter Cartridges sold separately and listed at the bottom of the page
The Enolmaster Tandem Professional Filter Housing is designed to operate in conjunction with the Enolmaster Bottle Filling Machine. Enolmaster Tandem helps you save time by filtering and bottling at the same time.
Place the filters in the housing and attach the hoses, then open the bypass valve on top of the filter housing. Place the Tandem Filter Housing inline between the product and the Enolmaster Filler. The Enolmaster Filling Machine draws the product from your tank and will pull the liquid through your filter housing, into the bottle.
Easy to Use
The Tandem professional filter housing in conjunction with the Enolmaster professional vacuum filler. The machine creates the vacuum inside the bottle by sucking the liquid from the main container. Then the liquid is easily filtered and bottled in a single operation.
Preserves the Product
The filtering system is designed to preserve the integrity of the product. The filtering cartridges retain only the unwanted particles without altering the organoleptic qualities of the product.
Easy to Clean
The Tandem professional filter housing is easily cleaned after each use. In this way you will always have maximum hygiene in the bottling process.
Please note: Recommended for use with wine and beer only. Use with spirits and liqueurs above 18% ABV may result in damage to the filter housing.
Eliminate oxidation in your bottling process with the XF460HP volume-based filling system
Made specifically for high proof spirits, featuring components with better resistance to high concentrations of ethanol
Liquid is pulled from your barrel or storage tank by the built-in self-priming pump
Filling volume is programmed and stops automatically
Optional gas flush system
Made to order in the United States
Eliminate oxidation in your bottling process by using the XpressFill volume-based filling system!
The XF460HP four bottle filler is now available specifically for High Proof Spirits. Susceptible components have been replaced with material more resistant to higher concentrations of ethanol. The XF460HP can easily accommodate very small to very large bottles with its adjustable shelf, allowing great flexibility. Easy to use, compact in design, precise volume filling, high quality components, hand-crafted in the USA.
Gravity-based systems usually involve spirits being transferred to a holding tank, and unless your bottles and holding tank are pre-flushed with inert gas, some degree of oxidation is inevitable. Xpress Fill bottling systems have a closed pathway with a self-priming pump. They also have as an optional built-in sparging (pre-flushing) system that uses Nitrogen or Argon to pre-flush your bottles.
To use, place four bottles under the filling spouts, push the gas button (optional at additional cost) to flush the bottles with inert gas. Then hit the Fill button which pulls the spirit from your barrel or stainless storage tank, distributes 750ml of spirit to each bottle, and shuts off automatically when done. It is truly that simple. Each fill cycle lasts 20 seconds. When using 750ml bottles you can expect to fill about 450 bottles per hour. There is also a manual mode allowing you to top up bottles or fill odd size bottles.
The four spout filler features a 3/8" inlet.
Features:
Made to order in the USA
4 Spout fills approximately 250 bottles per hour
Bottle shelf is adjustable to accommodate a wide range of bottles
Optional Gas Flush System & Filler to automatically gas-purge bottles prior to filling
Weight: 32 lbs
Dimensions: 16" W x 17" H x 14.75" D
Warning: XpressFill bottle fillers are NOT certified as explosion proof, should be used in a well-ventilated area, and not for use with solvents. It should be noted that 70% alcohol is 140 proof and has a flash point of 70°F, making the product volatile, as well as flammable
Ferment, carbonate, and serve finished beer all in one vessel
Pressure ferment as high as 25 psi to reduce esters and produce clean lagers at ale fermentation temps
Extra-large draining sediment bottle allows you to drop out hop matter and yeast throughout your process
Avoid oxidation by skipping the kegging process entirely—simply hook up your draft system to the lid's ball lock posts!
So the first thing to understand is that this is a Unitank - you will be fermenting and serving from the same vessel. The lid has an adjustable pressure relief that you can set to different pressures. More on that later while we first talk about why we are so high on these...
The #1 reason we love the BrewKeg Unitanks is that they eliminate kegging day, which saves a bunch of time. The Brewkeg50 is perfect for a 10-gallon batch, with plenty of headspace for vigorous fermentations. When fermentation is done, crank down the temp, remove the yeast/trub collection ball and start immediately drinking because the beer is already carbonated. Since this is not the standard brewing process, stop and think that over - you don't need a separate night or hours on a weekend morning to clean and keg. You are going to save 2 or more hours with every batch! Plus, you are skipping the most oxidative step in brewing of going from your fermenter to your keg. Yes, the one down side is that your fermenter is tied up as a keg but to many of us who really love brewing our own beer but are time challenged – the sacrifice is totally worth it.
Another great time saving feature is that you can skip wort cooling and 'hot pack' these kegs, literally filling them after boil at around 190°F. Stick them in your refrigerator, let them cool overnight, and pitch yeast the next day. Hot packing is gaining a lot of traction and we suggest you google the term to learn more. It’s been a standard practice in Australian homebrewing for years.
We've been fermenting under pressure for years now with various pressurizable conicals, and if you want to make amazing lagers quickly you need to try it. Fermenting under pressure reduces esters and even beers fermented between 65-80°F have amazing German lager malt profiles. We've fermented a beer under pressure with WLP001 at room temp and all the tasters thought it was lager yeast. The pressure relief assembly, located in the center of the lid, is the slickest out there and adjusts from no pressure up to 25 psi. Leave it open for no pressure fermentations of ales and IPA's where you want the esters. Close it down to make amazing lagers under pressure, quickly.

Isolated, studied and selected from the prestigious Côte de Nuits terroir in Burgundy during a three-year research project by Laboratory Burgundia Oenologie in Beaune, France. The goal of this selection program was to find a dominant natural yeast strain from a traditional “cold soak” that would elaborate intense, complex and balanced Pinot Noir varietal character. The 3001 strain stood out from other strains. Wines made with it were noted for fruit and varietal characters that were both elegant and complex. This yeast has moderate nitrogen demands but will benefit from proper nutrition and aeration, these factors becoming increasingly important as your potential alcohol content rises above 13%. This strain is tolerant to standard SO2 additions and low temperatures (down to 12°C/54°F) for a steady and reliable alcoholic fermentation following cold soak. The 3001 yeast is specifically for high quality cold soak Pinot Noir destined for aging. Download the PDF Download the PDF
Thermowell for Speidel Tanks which are equipped with a DIN10 male threaded fitting in the tank wall. Tanks larger than 220L which we order for regular stock during wine season are equipped with a single DIN10 fitting, which comes capped. This fitting will accomodate either this DIN10 Thermowell or an DIN10 Sample Valve.
This item is not intended for use with tanks ordered as part of our PreSeason Sale. If you did not order a GERT or GERSV option then your tank does not have the required DIN10 male fitting on it. We cannot weld this fitting in to your tank wall. However, if you ordered the GERSV on your PreSeason Tank then you can replace the Sample Valve with this Thermowell.
