Securely bung your full-size barrels with this locking bung. Great for tight bunging barrels while rolling them on their side, moving barrels from location to location, or simply for peace of mind that this bung will not accidently get knocked out of place.
A stainless plate embedded in the silicone causes the bung to expand outward when tightened. This creates considerable pressure against the bung opening, ensuring a super solid seal. Use a crescent wrench or 1/2" driver to tighten the nut on top of the bung.
Bottom of bung measures 1.5" and the top of the bung measures 2.5".
With the MoreBeer! Jockey Box your beer will pour cold for hours! Take it camping, tailgating, or just pull it out when the gang is over. A Jockey box (or draft box) is a portable dispensing system used to cool beer as it travels inline from the keg to the faucet. The MoreBeer! Jockey Box includes an insulated cooler, two 50' x 3/8" stainless steel coils, shanks and beer line clamps.
Our jockey box does not include faucets or tap handles as standard, allowing you to pair it with the faucet model of your choice. Select your desired faucets from our add-on system above.
A favorite innovation in our draft box design is that we use larger 3/8" OD stainless steel tubing, which has two advantages over designs offered by other companies:
It cools a greater volume of beer, and cools it faster. The coil will hold approximately 33 oz of beer at a time.
The larger diameter line offers less resistance, which lets you push the beer with less CO2 pressure. Our boxes require about 10-15 psi from the CO2 tank to push the beer from the keg to the faucet (same pressure you use to dispense at home). Because the vast majority of beer lovers opt to keep their beer cool at all times to protect flavor (especially a homebrewer who is going to retap the same kegs at home!) and reduce foaming issues, most people opt to also ice the keg. The low applied pressure of 10-15 psi means that if you leave the system hooked up overnight, the beer will not over carbonate. If you do not plan on keeping the keg cold, which is perfectly fine, our system still works great because you can disconnect the line (if left for days) to keep the beer from losing carbonation.
We do not use shanks on the back side of our boxes. We drill holes slightly smaller than the line size so that a tight seal is created but you can still pull the line in when not in use, without having a wrench on hand. This makes storage and transport extremely easy. You will appreciate not having lines flopping everywhere.
You will need to purchase the appropriate keg coupers for your commercial kegs or quick disconnects for your homebrew kegs. You will also need a CO2 system, comprised of a CO2 tank and regulator.
Tips For Best Results:
It is much more likely for a beer left at a high psi to overcarbonate (become foamy) than a beer left at a low psi to lose carbonation. The reason is that gas will always keep coming from the regulator until the gas/beer pressure have reached an equilibrium, so over time the high psi setting becomes the pressure in the beer. However, for a beer to lose carbonation it has to come out of solution into the headspace in the keg. Because the headspace is limited, only so much CO2 can come out, and the keg pressure will not drop all the way down to the lower regulator pressure on its own. This is the reason that if you have overcarbonated a beer you have to repeatedly vent the keg, reducing the pressure in the headspace to 0, and allowing more gas to escape from the beer.
For the best performance when using a draft box, tests have shown that ice water is actually the most effective at cooling the coils. So, as the ice melts, do not open the drain valve on the cooler. Draft boxes with Cooling Plates (stainless coil embedded in aluminum) are designed to work with the valve open, ours is not.

Upgrade your MKII Magnetic Drive Pump with a stainless steel pump head that quickly & easily installs via 3" tri-clamp T.C. connection allows the pump head to be oriented at any angle in a full 360-degrees Pull ring PRV at the pump outlet makes it easy to purge air and prime the pump before each use Inline flow path for smooth integration into your brewery while keeping your tubing lines tidy Stainless steel head with 1/2" threaded ports to attach your preferred fittings—tri-clamp, quick disconnect, camlock, and More!
Upgrade your MKII Magnetic Drive Pump with a stainless steel inline pump head! The TC Breakdown Brewing Pump Head provides several advantages over the standard MKII pump head, first and foremost being it's made of stainless steel instead of plastic. This allows for much easier installment of fittings without the risk of breaking off the plastic inlet or outlet. It will also convert the pump head from "Center Inlet" to "Inline" flow path which can make it much easier to integrate into your brewery and keep your brewing hoses tidy. At the outlet of the pump, there is a very handy pull ring PRV that allows you to bleed liquor or wort from the pump head to release trapped air and prime the pump. But what some MKII users might find most exciting about this upgrade kit is that it converts the pump head connection to 3" tri-clamp! Not only do you have a full 360-degrees to orient the pump head any which way, cleaning the pump after use has never been easier—just pop off the tri-clamp, wash out the pump head, and clamp back on. This upgrade kit is only compatible with the 25-Watt MKII pump (PMP50). It will not fit the larger 65-Watt MKII or the Blichmann Engineering RipTide pump. If you don't already own the 25-Watt MKII, you can purchase it with the T.C. pump head already installed here. Tri-Clamp Pump Head The T.C. pump head can be removed quickly and easily using the 3" tri-clamp. This means no drivers or power drills are needed to back out the six Phillips head screws that mount the pump head on the standard version of the MKII. Whip the head off in a flash to clear out spent grain, hop material, or clear a blockage. Attaching the pump head with a tri-clamp also allows the head to be rotated at any angle in a full 360-degrees. This makes it easy to configure the plumbing to your unique brewery setup. Inline Design An "inline" pump head simply means the input and output are on a straight horizontal line with one another which can make it easier to integrate into your brewery setup. If you're using a 3-vessel horizontal system, the inline pump head will make it easier to keep your hoses neat and tidy compared to pumps heads with a center inlet. PRV Purge Valve The corny keg style PRV will make priming the pump a breeze. Simply let bleed the pump head to purge air out before turning the pump on and you'll avoid any cavitation issues. The PRV also acts as a safety so you do not over pressurize your pump head or brewery system. 304 Stainless Steel The entire pump head is made from 304 grade stainless steel so it's highly resistant to chemicals, heat, and physical abuse. The 1/2" BSP threaded ports can be used to attach barbs, quick disconnects, camlocks, tri-clamp adapters, or any other 1/2" fittings you prefer. KegLand Part Number: KL27267

We recently had a simple, yet exciting idea: What if we brewed the same recipe, used the same yeast, but changed one thing - the flavor, aroma, and dry hop additions using one hop varietal. That way we could take two beers that are close to identical and pick out the differences in just the hop flavors and aromas! And thus, the Single Hop Experiment was born. This recipe is based off of a simple Pale Ale: Ultralight malt extract, Crystal 15L, Magnum bittering hops, and then a single other hop for the rest of the additions. The malt in this recipe is basic and fairly neutral, the bittering clean and consistent, but the flavor and aroma from the late hop additions will vary; sometimes dramatically! Liquid Malt Extract (LME) vs. Dried Malt Extract (DME)
MoreBeer! recipe kits are offered in both Liquid Malt Extract and Dry Malt Extract so that our customers can choose the format that best suits their needs and brewing style. LME is a viscous liquid, similar in consistency to maple syrup. In addition to being the more affordable option, many brewers find LME easier to handle than dry extract. DME is more condensed and comes in a powder format that is similar to baking flour. Although it’s a little more costly, DME is naturally lighter in color and stays fresher for longer. We highly recommend DME when brewing light colored beers.

There are some tools you simply can't do without. Once you have discovered the “flexibility” of this funnel and all of the places it can be used, you will never go without one again!
This 9 inch Funnel with a flexible output hose can be used when transferring liquid into a carboy, adjusting to where you need it to fit into the carboy neck. The flexible tubing also means you can use it anywhere you need to maneuver tight quarters or strange configurations.
Colle Perle is a hydrolyzed gelatin solution. Primary uses are clarification and the removal of bitter tannins and phenolics. Colle Perle flocculates and settles well. Desirable aromas and flavors are retained while harsh characters are removed. It is particularly useful to optimize potential of hard pressed product. In white wines it can be used in conjunction with bentonite to compact lees.
Dosage - Applied at a rate of 4 ml / gal.
Usage:
Juice - Dilute Colle Perle 1:1 in water. Add at the beginning of cold settling and mix evenly and completely throughout the juice. When used in juice Colle Perle should be used in conjunction with bentonite or Gelocolle to improve settling. Racking should be done after 1 week.
Wine in Aging - Dilute Colle Perle 1:1 in water. Stir vigorously into the wine to ensure thorough distribution. Racking should be done after 1 week. Filtration is possible 48-72 hours after fining with Colle Perle.
Bentolact S is a proprietary IOC blend of soluble casein and bentonite. It is most effective when used early (during cold settling). This fining agent is formulated for the preventative treatment of must prone to oxidation. It will help prevent the formation of undesirable off-characters. Using this with whites, roses, and light fruit wines will help prevent any negative characters from forming as a result of oxidation during processing.
Juice - Applied at a rate of 2.25 g / gal.
Wine - Applied at a rate of 6 g / gal.
Dissolve in 10 times its weight in cold water and mix vigorously to dissolve any clumps. Allow the mixture to stand for 3 hours. Add to the juice or wine during a pump-over or a good mixing. Depending upon the wine, a Bentolact S addition may take up to 7 days to settle.
Please Note: For best results, Bentolact S should be mixed in the juice or wine during a pump-over or tank mixing.

This recipe is based off of a simple Pale Ale: 2-Row, Crystal 15L, Magnum bittering hops, and then a single other hop for the rest of the additions. The malt in this recipe is basic and fairly neutral, the bittering clean and consistent, but the flavor and aroma from the late hop additions will vary; sometimes dramatically! Ever wanted to know what your favorite hop really is? Brew a few of these different Single Hop Experiment recipes to find out!

This is the ideal instructional text for first-time winemakers. Use it as your detailed guide this year to make high end red wine at home. Based on years of in-house research, hands-on winemaking and customer feedback, this booklet outlines our Best Practices and gives you the best shot at making great wine right in your home. Laid out in a direct and step-by-step fashion, this handy manual will be sure to stay by your side in your home winery for years to come. This is the same booklet that is available as a free .PDF download from the MoreManuals! page of our website, in a nice spiral-bound package with heavy-duty pages made from a smudge-resistant paper. Testimonial "I have been making red wine using the MoreManual Guide to Red Winemaking for three years. I originally downloaded a copy off of the website. Recently I bought the bound version because, of all the winemaking reference materials I have, including reference materials form a winemaking class and several books for home winemakers, the MoreManual is the only reference I bring with me to my home winery. When I need to make a decision, I consult that first. I appreciate the degree of thoroughness and detail in such a practical, hands on manual. If I can make good red wine using this manual, anybody can! It is far more useful to me than any of my home winemaking texts." Jim Suisun Valley, California, USA
