KegLand put an exceptional amount of time into the research, testing, and development of the MaltZilla, and what they came up with is a motorized grain mill unlike anything we've seen before. It features an integrated motor so you'll never have to mess with a hand crank or power drill to spin the rollers. And the rollers themselves are made with a diamond-impregnated surface that offers superior performance and longevity compared to conventional knurled steel rollers. The integrated 24V motor is powerful enough to chew through popping corn kernels with ease, and works on voltages from 12-30V DC. The higher the voltage the faster the rollers spin, although we recommend 24V for optimum speed and grist results. The unit does not come with a power supply. When purchasing the unit, you have the option of pairing it with either a power supply with 110V plug (CAN11), or with a 6 ft. long cord with Anderson plug and alligator clips (CAN102). The power supply is straight forward, and allows you to plug the unit into a standard 110V power socket. The alligator clips give you the option to power the unit from a battery. Knurled Steel vs. Diamond Coated Rollers
Your run-of-the-mill grain mills are often manufactured with steel rollers with a knurled finish. The knurling helps grip and pull the grain through the rollers, but even the knurling on hardened steel will go blunt eventually and hinder the mill's performance. Some manufacturers attempt to solve this problem by using geared rollers to better grab the grain, or add a third roller to the mill so the first two rollers with a larger gap force the grain into the third roller. These are only workarounds to the real issue—all steel rollers will go blunt eventually, especially if used with hard grains like wheat or corn. In a commercial setting, it’s not uncommon to send the rollers off to a metalworking factory to re-sharpen and re-knurl, but this is an expensive, time-consuming hassle. Many homebrew-scale users might just end up throwing the mill away and purchasing a new one. The MaltZilla Diamond Mill is quite a different mill design, and it’s the first in the world to use diamonds impregnated into the surface of the roller. Even after many tons of grain are processed through the mill, the diamond surface will stay just as sharp as it was on day one. The sharpness of the diamonds draws grain exceptionally well, and even when hard grains are used the diamond rollers won't dull or slip in performance. Sheer Instead of Chop
Most mills require aggressive knurling to push into the grain and “chop” the grain as it passes through a tight gap, which means your grains are often chopped in half. The MaltZilla works on a different principle and gap setting is not as critical. The MaltZilla uses impregnated diamonds to grip the surface of the kernel and the friction of pulling the grain through the gap causes a sheering action. When set up correctly, the sheering action can leave the entire husk intact, reducing the chance of stuck sparge and improve efficiency, while still opening the husk enough that the entire contents of the kernel is available to the mashing process. The 70 mm diameter rollers are double the diameter of many other mills, which significantly improves the crush and assists in drawing the grain in more effectively. Integrated Motor
You generally would not purchase a car without an engine, so why would you purchase a grain mill without a motor? Milling grain has an optimum RPM— too slow and it will take you a long time, too fast and you will end up with excessive powder. Hand cranking can be a pain in the backside, especially with larger grain bills, and using a power drill doesn't offer much in the way of speed control and adds the potential risk of burning out your drill. The MaltZilla has an integrated motor with a very constant RPM putting out optimum RPM with an integrated gearbox. The high torque and sealed construction make it ideal for a brewing environment, as the motor is well protected from moisture and grain dust. The motor is seamlessly integrated into the side body of the mill. Being DC, the motor is safer than higher voltage AC, especially in an environment where splashing and hose spray are commonplace. The DC motor is also reversible so the direction of spin can be changed based on the polarity. This is particularly useful for over-mount and under-mount installation. Over-Mount and Under-Mount Installation
Traditionally, homebrew mills just sit on a board where they are moved from one bucket to another. The MaltZilla has multiple different mounting configurations. It can be over-mounted to a board like most mills are, but if you want a seamless finish to your garage/brewing area, you can mount the mill under your counter where it’s concealed and out of the way. Simply lift up a small opening in the top of your benchtop, drop in your hopper, pour in grain and run the mill. When you're done, remove the hopper and conceal the opening. There is also a MaltZilla PPE Base Board available for over the bucket installation or designing your own mill stand. Grain Hopper
This unit does not come with a grain hopper. We recommend using a large funnel with a shortened spout, or a repurposed gallon-sized water bottle. The MaltZilla Aluminum Hopper is currently in development and available for pre-order. Specifications:

The Sspunding Valve from Ss Brewtech allows you dial in the precise pressure at which you want your Unitank fermenting. A spunding valve is essentially an adjustable pressure relief valve. Normal PRVs that are found on kegs, couplers and come stock on Ss Unitanks, operate as safety features that will release pressure when it's nearing dangerous levels. Spunding valves, on the other hand, allow you to set the release pressure much lower. Simply dial in your desired fermentation pressure, and the Sspunding valve will release excess pressure when it gets too high. The scaled Sspunding valve includes an etched sleeve with a scale between 0-2 BAR, along with a pressure calibrated spring. This version is perfect for a home or nano brewer that wants to be able to dial in pressures on the fly without having to match the release pressure using a gauge. The scaled version also features a pressure release knob to quickly and easily verify or equalize tank pressure. If you're looking for a more affordable option, check out FE892Afor the non-scaled version. The polycarbonate cup is designed to hold sanitizer so that the tank remains 100% sanitary throughout the course of the fermentation process. You can pair the spunding valve with a 1.5" tri-clamp tee (H666) and 90-degree elbow (H667), which enables the unit to be installed on the Unitank’s blow off arm, as shown in the photo. All 304 Stainless Construction Only for use with pressure rated Unitanks 1.5" TC interface Removable sanitizer cup Easy disassembly for cleaning Not for use on low pressure vessels (Chronicals, etc.) For Your Safety: Always leave the fixed-pressure PRV included with the Unitank in place. Never exceed the maximum rated working pressure of the vessel at any time during operation.

Perhaps your wort was too hot when you transferred from the kettle, or while cleaning you dropped the FermZilla against something sharp that punched a hole, or maybe it's just time to replace the tank after acquiring too many scratches from normal wear-and-tear. Whatever the reason, no need to go buy a whole new FermZilla! Just pick up one of these fresh replacement tanks and your conical fermenter will be good as new! Pressure Stress If you use the FermZilla to ferment under pressure, or you use CO2 to pressure transfer or force carbonate your finished beer, it is very important that you conduct semi-annual inspections of your tank. Even with perfect care, the FermZilla tank may show signs of wear from pressure stress over time. We recommend visually inspecting your tank for stress creases or other signs of wear once or twice a year. A hydro test should be conducted every two years, even if no signs of wear are found. The process is simple: Fill the tank to the brim with water Replace the Red PRV with a Green PRV rated to 4.5 BAR or higher Pressurize the tank to 4 BAR (58 psi) Check for leaks, then replace the Red PRV when finished If leaks or potential points of failure are found, replace the tank before you continue using pressure with your FermZilla. General Care Taking good care of your FermZilla begins with cleaning and sanitizing the unit before and after use. The tank is made from food-grade PET, which is beautifully clear, but can be sensitive to long soaks in cleaners and acid-based sanitizers. In general, we do not recommend leaving products like PBW or StarSan soaking in the tank for more than an hour. Extended soaks have the potential to degrade the PET material and shorten the lifespan of the tank. KegLand Part Number: KL15219 NOTE: FermZilla tanks are marked with a manufacturer’s “expiry date”. This does not indicate that the tank is bad after this date; it simply indicates that a hydro test may be in order. 2 years after production and every 2 years after first use, it is recommended that the tank be hydro tested to ensure the tank is holding pressure. Hydro test instructions are available here. You will also need the D1072 Green PRV to perform the test. If you do not plan to pressurize the fermenter, the test is not necessary.

The ultimate portable draft faucet! Compact & lightweight with all the advantages of a standard NukaTap forward sealing faucet
Includes NukaTap Mini, Flow Control Ball Lock QD, Duotight Adapter, and Self Closing Spring
Forward-sealing design prevents beer residue from gumming up the faucet
Reduced first pour foam due to low thermal mass and conductivity
Perfect for mobile draft, mini kegs, sampling from fermenters, and can even be installed on your kegerator or keezer
Mini Design – Ideal Flow Rate for Small Systems
Most conventional beer faucets are designed with 3/8" diameter spouts so you can pour a pint in just over 10 seconds. This type of flow rate is great for high turnover bars and commercial venues but isn't necessary or even desirable for all applications. For compact portable systems and home draft systems, a slower flow rate is easier to control and further reduces foaming issues due to the low liquid volume stored in the body of the faucet.
The NukaTap Mini is also more ideal for pouring smaller doses. For example, cocktails where 5-8 oz of liquid is dispensed is difficult to control with a high flow rate tap. For portable systems, the NukaTap Mini with the Flow Control Ball Lock QD & Duotight Adapter assembly is small enough to literally put in your pocket, making it ideal for mini keg setups that you want to be portable or that you want to easily fit inside a domestic fridge where space is tight.
Forward Sealing
Forward sealing faucets are absolutely the way to go when it comes to beer taps. Old legacy taps still exist in the industry that are simply poorly designed. The issue with rear sealing faucets is that beer dries up on the internal piston. Aside from being unsanitary, as more and more beer dries up in these components the faucet can almost glue completely shut causing damaged seals or broken handles (this is particularly the case if it's left for some time to dry out with beer inside). These older legacy designs still exist probably due to poor education. The forward sealing designs do not have this problem and the tap drains out completely with no beer drying up on the mechanical moving parts in the same way. This makes the tap more sanitary and reduces maintenance. In many instances the price is similar so there is no reason to use a poorly designed rear sealing faucet. All NukaTap faucets are forward sealing.
Laminar Flow
Just like the NukaTap SS and NukaTap FC, the NukaTap Mini has been designed with laminar flow in mind. Laminar flow is critical for a beer tap as it means you will pour the beer with minimal foaming and a substantial reduction in wastage. Think about how many times a beer faucet opens and closes in its lifetime. 1,000 or maybe 10,000 times? Laminar flow saves wasted beer in excessive foam and the better laminar flow easily pays for itself in a reduction in lost beer. To use poorer designed faucets is essentially flushing money down the sink. Extensive modeling has been done on the NukaTap design to improve laminar flow.
Integrated Seals That Are Indestructible and More Sanitary
Unlike other designs, the NukaTap Mini body is made from Polyketone (POK) making it strong, robust, and able to be autoclaved. The seals are also over-molded from Santoprene® making them hard wearing so they will literally last for the lifetime of the tap without the need for replacement. Santoprene® and POK both have excellent resistance to chemicals such as caustic soda, peroxide, phosphoric acid, lactic acid, citric acid, acetic acid, and all common chemicals sold and used in the beverage industry. The seals internally are over-molded meaning no fissures or cracks exist for bacteria, crud, or yeast to hide.
Superior First Pour Foam Due to Low Thermal Mass and Conductivity
First pour foam is an issue caused by a warm tap body. For most faucets to pour well it's important to dispense enough beer to cool the tap body down to reach maximum performance. In addition to this the conductivity of the tab body also makes this worse so insulative materials simply work better than conductive materials. The NukaTap mini not only has very low thermal mass but is also highly insulative being made mostly from Santoprene® and POK. The combination of these two factors in conjunction with superior laminar flow makes for the lowest "first pour foam" effect out of any tap ever produced.
Long Shank Alternative
Most conventional beer faucets require a large 3/4" hole to be drilled through the side of your refrigerator, keezer, or cold box wall. Traditional long shanks also generally have a large volume of liquid that sits inside the wall unrefrigerated which is not ideal. New long shank alternatives developed for the NukaTap Mini are designed to suit any wall thickness and greatly reduces the stagnant beer sitting in the shank itself. For walls up to 2.7" thick, these wall mount shank kits include three screws, however if the wall is thicker, you can also use 6 small wood screws or something similar and attach three screws from the front and 3 from the back allowing you to go into any wall type.
Another advantage of this new design is the tap will never accidentally rotate. Typically, other long shank beer taps rely on the hex nut on the shank to be done up tight enough to prevent rotation but if the wall compresses (often the case with foam walls) the tap is allowed to rotate. This new design has three fixing points making it impossible for the tap to rotate accidentally as the interlocking teeth behind the collet allow you to set the angle and then do up the collet to fix the tap permanently in that position.

This BrewMaster Series kit was scaled down to a homebrew batch size in collaboration with the brewmasters at Imperiale Beer Project Light, easy-drinking body paired up with delicious hop-forward flavors and aromatics Includes 100% Galaxy hops Estimated ABV: 4.4% Estimated IBUs: 21 Makes 5 gallons of finished beer It's a big brewing world out there, make sure you see as much of it as possible! Australian Sparkling Ale is one of those mysterious beer styles that a lot of us had never sampled (or even heard of, really). But its light, easy-drinking body paired up with delicious hop-forward flavors and aromatics make it an outstanding, sessionable brew. Pilsner dominates the malt profile with a dash of White Wheat and Carapils for body and mouthfeel, allowing the hop combination of Galaxy and Strata to really pop. Similar to how the best view of the Milky Way is on a moonless night in the Outback, these hops are on gorgeous display as post boil and dry hop additions, with very little bitterness to cloud the citrus, tropical, and cannabis character they impart. Symons Galaxy was first brewed at Imperiale Beer Project in Brentwood, CA as part of a virtual collaboration with Australian beer historian, Peter Symons. Who better to have at your side (albeit through the computer screen) than the gentleman who literally wrote the BJCP guidelines for the style? This collaborative effort resulted in a unique, modern take on the ASA style—introducing Strata, a non-Australian hop, into the mix to complement the heavy additions of Galaxy hops. Symons Galaxy was a smash hit, and is sure to satisfy any hop head out there. For great reads on historic Australian beers and other topics, check out Peter's collection of books here. Filter beer like the pros, only on a smaller scale. Most small breweries and wineries use a large plate filter system to achieve clear beer or wine. Now you can do the same at home. Our new plate filter has a larger surface area, which means more yeast and particulate extraction.
Each filtering session requires two filter pads at a time, and each pad must be the same micron to work. The product is pushed into the housing at 5 PSI and passes on either side of the plate filter housing, then gets forced through the filter pads to the center, where it is pushed out into your awaiting collection vessel, such as a keg or tank.
Includes 2 X 24" long hoses (5/16" ID x 7/16" OD)
Made from ABS plastic. Temperature rated to 167°F (75°C).

Rhone 4600 is a Cote du Rhone isolate that has a short lag phase, low nutrient demand, and has the ability to ferment well at low temperatures. Due to its' high level of polysaccharide production, Rhone 4600 contributes intense mouthfeel and volume to a finished wine. In addition, Rhone 4600 helps create complex aromatic notes along with a high degree of ester production. In whites like Viognier, Marsanne, Roussane, and Chardonnay there is an emphases on pineapple, pear, and apple. When used in Roses made from Mouvedre, Grenache and Syrah, intense, elegant, fresh strawberry becomes the focus. While Rhone 4600 is good for white wine production, it is an excellent yeast for making Roses either by itself or as part of a blend. Best results from 56 to 72 degrees F, with an alcohol tolerance to 15%. Download the PDF Download the PDF

We had a lot of fun creating over 150 original designs when the tap handle was originally released, and we continue to create new tap handle cut outs for every recipe kit we develop. We think you and your friends will love them. Not using a MoreBeer! kit? No problem! Each new tap handle also comes with a removable, erasable chalkboard surface. Additionally, the back of the tap handle features a chalkboard surface that can be written on as well, which is handy and cool if your tap handle is seen from both sides. The insert is made of a thin sheet of metal and coated with chalkboard paint. The outer portion of the tap handle is made of wood and also painted with chalkboard paint. Note: You might need to use a bonnet angler (D1270) if you converted an upright refrigerator. Bonnet anglers allow longer tap handles to sit in a more vertical position so they do not angle back and hit the refrigerator door or wall. Tap Board Features: Designed to work with MoreBeer! recipe kits Includes removable metal chalkboard insert when not using a MoreBeer! recipe kit Back of tap handle also serves as chalkboard surface Dimensions: 7.25" H x 2.25" W x 0.75" D

This product replaces our TAN140 - Tannin Plus
Enological tannins offer the winemaker the possibility to add refined, highly-bindable tannin to your wine at any stage during the process. Benefits can include increased structure and mouthfeel, color stabilization, stability, anti-oxidative qualities, and overall complexity. Tannins can reduce vegetal/herbaceous characteristics and perceived astringency. We offer four types of oenolgical tannins, two for use during fermentation, and two for use during the aging phase.
Aging Tannins
Tannin Riche Extra is a preparation of 100% American oak tannin that has been lightly toasted to impart a soft, aromatic character while enhancing the structure and organoleptic complexity of a wine. Tannin Riche Extra is a great tool for imparting hints of coconut, a heightened vanillin oak character and a smooth finish to your wines. Although designed for fine-tuning a wine, Tannin Riche Extra still maintains the regular properties associated with the use of tannins such as helping with clarification, stability, oxidation, and aging. Works well in conjunction with low doses of other tannins (i.e: Tannin Complex & FT Blanc Soft).
To Use:
Dissolve the tannin in 10 times its weight in warm water (95F/35C). Add to the wine during a punch-down or pump-over for good mixing. Addition of Tannin Plus should be made a minimum of three weeks before bottling.
Recommended dosage:
0.2-0.4 g/gal
A rough approximate of weight is 3/4 tsp = 1 gram. We highly recommend using a scale to weigh the product for an accurate dose. We do not recommend relying on these rough conversions for accurate dosage rates.
Make your own gluten-free beer at home!
Made from White Sorghum Grain
Provides a mild flavor and light body
2-3 °L
Sorghum is gaining popularity as a complete malt substitute in beer. Coeliacs (people allergic to gluten) have to avoid items with gluten in them, including beer. Substituting Sorghum extract for malt extract opens a whole new brewing door for people.
It is mild in flavor, light in body (2-3L). One pound per one gallon of water will yield 1.040 SG. We have experimented with this extract, and have found the flavor of sorghum is not like malt at all. It has a light spicy note to it, and the mouthfeel is virtually non-existent. These two things make brewing with 100% Sorghum a nice little challenge. While the result is a drinkable beer, it needs some work. We suggest trying Heather Tips, Honey, Belgian Candi Syrup, and to stay away from "citrusy" hops. You use about 50% less hops when bittering sorghum extract.
There are some ingredients that cannot be used in brewing a beer for a person who is allergic to gluten such as specialty grains, malt, liquid yeast and dextrin. If you're allergic to gluten, be sure to check with your doctor before deciding which ingredients are safe for you to use in your beer.
The LinkTech 60PS Series is a lineup of premium plastic Quick Disconnects. These High Quality QDs are made from medical grade polypropylene, a high-strength plastic that is temperature tolerant 160° (Max!), and can handle pressure ranging from a vacuum to 60 psi. All of the 60PS Series will interconnect, and these units will also work seamlessly (and leaklessly!) with CPC Quick Disconnects of the same internal 3/8” flow path. O-rings are a EPDM Rubber, and internal valve springs are constructed from 316 Stainless steel.
This is a Female Socket, which can connect to any H501 Series Male Plug. It has a 1/2" Hose Barb on the other end for attaching any 1/2" ID tubing. This QD is equipped with a shutoff valve. When not connected to another QD, this will not allow any flow.
While not quite as bulletproof as our Stainless Steel Quick Disconnects, this lineup does offer a few advantages. These can be set up with Shutoffs, which will prevent flow when disconnected, and can be incredibly useful on Pump or Glycol systems. The pricing of these products is more economical, yet the plastic is still medical grade. All in all, these are a premium lineup of quick disconnects with great features and lots of options.

Chux DIPA from Danville Brewing Company in Danville, CA is all about the hops. This celebration of hop flavor is packed with bright, citrusy tropical aromas that jump from the glass! Most of the IBUs come from a "First Wort" addition of Magnum. This process refers to adding hops to your kettle as soon as you begin collecting wort from your completed mash, resulting in a very smooth bitterness up front. From there, healthy aroma additions of Cascade, Citra®, Mosaic®, and Strata are combined for an incredibly expressive Double IPA.
Danville's Chux DIPA beat out 218 other entries to bring home Bronze in the Imperial India Pale Ale category at the Great American Beer Festival in 2017.
