  • Rhizome - Columbus (CTZ)

    Columbus (CTZ) Hop Rhizome

    25 reviews

Rhizomes are now in stock and orders are being fulfilled. If you haven't ordered your rhizomes yet, this is your last chance till next season! 15.0-17.0% AA. Grows well in dry, hot climates. Vigorous but susceptible to mildew diseases. Columbus is a high-alpha hop that provides a neutral bitterness and an excellent aroma. The flavor and aroma are very pungent, so it is often used for late-addition hopping or dry-hopping. Great in IPA's. Flavor is slightly floral with some citrus notes. Also goes by the names Tomahawk, Zeus, and CTZ. Rhizomes should be planted immediately for best results. If your area is still experiencing frost then you can plant them in a planter indoors until it is safe to transplant outside. The first years crop will generally be smaller than subsequent years. Since these are live plants, we cannot guarantee they will grow, so we recommend buying two of each type to help ensure their success. Shipping Restrictions: Due to agricultural restrictions, we can only ship rhizomes to addresses that are in the United States, excepting Hawaii, Oregon, Washington, and the counties of Bonner and Kootenai in Idaho. Unfortunately, we cannot ship these to international locations including APO/FPO addresses.

  • Cryo Hops - Columbus - PLACEHOLDER

    Columbus / CTZ | Cryo Hops®

Extremely versatile and well fit for IPAs, Pale Ales, Hazys, Stouts, and Lagers Aroma Profile: Citrus, Dank, Earthy, Woody Alpha Acids: 15.0 – 18.0% Cryo Hop® Hop Pellets Higher AA and nearly twice the resin content of traditional T-90 hop pellets Increase yield by reducing vegetal matter in your brewhouse and fermenter Cryo Hops® provide brewers with the ability to get gigantic hop character while reducing astringent and unpleasant vegetal flavors. With a substantially higher oil and resin content, LupuLN2 powder offers up all the flavor and aroma of a heavily hopped beer, but with a significanly reduced grassy character. Additionally, the lower dosage rate of the concentrated powder reduces the volume of trub and therefore, kettle loss. Using Cryo Hops® you will net more beer that is clearer! Typical usage of Cryo Hops® would be roughly 50% of pellets. LupuLN2 powder can be used in any application where traditional hop products are utilized, including: Bittering, Kettle, Whirlpool and even direct to the fermentor.  It is suggested that you use Cryo Hops® as late additions, in the whirlpool or dry hop, as the volatile aromatic compounds will be driven off if added early in the boil. Cryo Hops® are an innovative hop product that is made by separating the lupulin from the hop flower using cryogenic processing. The result is a product with twice the potency of T90 pellets, with reduced astringency and vegetative material. Note: These hops come pelletized. The powder is compressed into pellet form to make handling easier. Typical Hop Statistics: Alpha Acids: 15.0 – 18.0% Beta Acids: 4.5 – 6.0% Total Oil: 2.0 – 4.0%   Cryo Hops® is a registered trademark owned by Yakima Chief Hops, LLC.

LME is a viscous liquid, similar in consistency to maple syrup. In addition to being the more affordable option, many brewers find LME easier to handle than dry extract. DME is more condensed and comes in a powder format that is similar to baking flour. Although it’s a little more costly, DME is naturally lighter in color and stays fresher for longer. We highly recommend DME when brewing light colored beers.

Columbus | CTZ | Pellet Hops

    20 reviews

Columbus, or CTZ (Columbus, Tomahawk, and Zeus), is a high alpha varietal with a neutral bitterness and intense aroma. A true dual-purpose hop that works very well for bittering, but shines just as easily as a late addition. CTZ hops have an earthy, spicy character that is great for bittering. But when used as an aroma addition, you'll find more floral and citrus notes come out that can be very pungent. Columbus is a perfect choice for IPAs, Pales, Imperial Ales, Hazys, Stouts, and Lagers. Hop Statistics: Alpha Acids: 14.0 – 16.0% Beta Acids: 4.0 – 5.5% Alpha-Beta Ratio: 2.55 – 4 Cohumulone: (% of alpha acids): 30 – 35% Total Oils in mls per 100 grams dried: 1.5 – 2.0 Similar Hop Varieties: Chinook, Nugget, Millennium

  • Cannular Full Auto Commercial Canning Line - Single Lane - 120V Cannular Full Auto Commercial Canning Line - Single Lane - 120V

Commercial Canning Line | Compact | Mobile | Single Operator | Easy to Use, Adjust & Clean | 15 Cans per Minute | B64 Lid Chuck | Standard 202 Can Compatible

Due to high demand, this item is currently out of stock. Be the first to receive your items by placing a pre-order today. We will automatically ship this to you when we receive more inventory. Package 15 x 16oz cans per minute Hardened chuck for extreme durability and extended lifespan Small footprint – roughly the same size as a pallet space Easy to wash down and clean between uses Suitable for breweries up to 40bbl The Cannular brand launched the manual can seaming machine at the start of 2019 with the world's first bench-top canning machine that was affordable and accessible to home brewers worldwide.  It gave home brewers and craft brewers the ability to get into small scale canning while still maintaining very low DO, seam tightness and lock in beverage quality. Since then, the Cannular canning machines have become the world's most popular canning machines ever manufactured, selling worldwide in America, Europe, UK, New Zealand and Australia.  On the back of this success KegLand then has further built the Cannular brand name to deliver a Semi-Auto canning machine and now is delighted to bring out the Cannular Full Auto Single Lane Canning Line. In essence with the whole Cannular range it depends on fundamentally simple processes and when combined with modern engineering provides an elegantly simple solution to small scale packaging.  The Cannular Fully Auto Single Lane Packaging Line will suit a small to medium sized brewery doing batches from 10bbl and up to 40bbl. Compact Size The compact footprint means this canning line is almost the size of a standard pallet so it can be stowed into pallet racking or wheeled out of the way easily. Hardened Chuck The chucks on this machine are made from Cr12MoV which is then coated with Titanium.  This grade has superior hardness so it can last an extremely long time without needing to re-tune the machine or change the chuck.  The hardness is 58-62 dH.  If you are particularly concerned about corrosion of the chuck, KegLand can also custom make stainless steel chucks on request.  For stainless steel chucks they can use the Quench Polish Quench process to harden the stainless steel.  It should be noted that the stainless chuck is more expensive and is less hard than the Cr12MoV alloy and as a result we do not normally recommend this alternative but it can be manufactured if requested. Setup and Washdown As the machine is fairly compact the wash down is extremely simple. The whole operating deck can be washed down with a hose and the chassis is mounted with an oversized drip tray to catch stray drips from the filling process.  The deck can also be plumbed to drain so cleaning in place (CIP) can be implemented.  All wet areas are made from nylon, Teflon and 304 stainless steel. Maintenance Made with European pneumatics, electronic controllers, flow sensors and industrial grade PLC you can be confident that all components are built to last the distance and designed to handle millions of cans before requiring an overhaul. We recommend that tolerances are checked on the rolls and chuck every 100,000 cans and lubricate some of the pneumatics.  Fortunately, all spare parts are supplied by KegLand so you know you're not going to get the shaft on replacement parts in the unlikely instance that you need them.  No major overhauls will be required until well over 1 million cans have gone through this machine and even when that time comes the maintenance procedures are relatively straight forward. Significant CPM for the Footprint This canning line is able to package 15 cans per minute making this the highest output machine ever manufactured within this small footprint. Low Labor Cost As this machine is relatively simple to run, one operator can load cans and lids into the respective hoppers and also package cans from the output of the machine.  Larger more complicated machines often require several operators to run, making this labor efficient for such a small machine size. Specifications: 120V Supplied as standard with a B64 chuck that suits standard 202 can bodies Height and Width are easily adjustable for a variety of cans Min. Can Height: 3.93" (100mm) Max. • Carbonator Reactor - Carbonation Keg Lid for Continuous Soda Water Carbonator Reactor - Carbonation Keg Lid for Continuous Soda Water

    Continuous Soda Carbonator Keg Lid

    14 reviews

Enjoy a never-ending supply of soda water on tap with the Continuous Soda Carbonator Keg Lid. SodaStream units are great, but filling up those tiny 1L bottles is a pain, they're expensive to swap, and they run out quickly. Hook up your mains water supply to this Carbonator Keg Lid, compatible with any standard ball lock homebrew keg, and you'll never have to think about running out of sparkling water. Setup: Position the keg inside your fridge or kegerator (ideally below 40°F). Attach your beverage draft line to the soda water out post. Attach your gas line to the gas-in post. Set your CO2 regulator to 30-50 psi, depending on how highly carbonated you like your soda water. We highly recommend using a check valve on your CO2 line. On first use, purge the air from the headspace of the keg. Connect the mains water to the water inlet post on the lid of the keg. We recommend also using a check valve on your mains water line to prevent soda water from going back into your house mains. Depending on your mains water pressure, you may need to reduce it using the Duotight In-Line Regulator. For the Carbonator Keg Lid to work well, the mains water pressure should be 10-15 psi higher than your regulator set pressure (from Step 4). That's it. This simple unit will give you continuous soda water connected to your mains water. Please note: if you are using a CO2 regulator that uses a corny-style PRV, such as the KOMOS® regulator, you will need to swap out the standard Green PRV with the 0-100 psi Gray PRV so you can raise the pressure above 60 psi. Always check the pressure rating of your keg(s) before swapping the PRV.   KegLand Part Number: KL10955

    Cool Brewing Fermentation Cooler Bag

    58 reviews

Control your fermentation temperatures with Cool Brewing's simple, yet innovative, insulated fermentation bag. This is the 2nd generation Cool Brew bag, which has made cold fermentations even easier! Fermenting your homebrew at the right temperature is one of the critical factors in making good beer. Let the temperature get too warm, and your beer will taste 'rough' as the soft malt and vibrant hop flavors dissapear! Typically an advanced homebrewer would want to get a spare refrigerator or even a MoreBeer! Cooled Conical to control fermentation temperatures, both those options either take up a lot of space or can cost a fair amount of money. The Cool Brewing Bag allows the apartment brewer, those who have space constraints, or the brewer on a budget a great option to control fermentation temperature and make great beer. Cool Brewing's Fermentation Cooler is designed specifically to accommodate standard 6.5, 6 or 5 gallon fermenter. You freeze a 2 liter soda bottle with water, or similar, and place in the fermentation bag with your fermenting carboy. Also works great with the Ss BrewTech Brew Buckets! The typical desired ale fermentation range is on average around 62-72° F. For a typical 5 gallon batch (1) frozen 2-liter bottle should lower wort temperature around 5 degrees, while using (2) 2-liter bottles will lower wort temperature around 11 degrees for 24-36 hours. Of course your exact results might vary but you can adjust the amount of ice you use as you go. The manufacturer has found they can cool the wort temperature up to around a 30-35° drop from ambient room temperature. On the flipside, add a Fermwrap and temperature controller to the setup, and you've got a heated fermentation temperature accurate to within 1° F! The Cool Brewing Fermentation Cooler is sealed, insulated and 100% waterproof so it will efficiently and neatly keep your temperatures in check. When you’re done, the Cool Brewing Fermentation Cooler easily folds up for storage until the next brew day! Cool Brew Features: Up to twice as efficient and cleaner then homemade swamp coolers Much less expensive than custom kegorator or keezer set up's that cost $100's of dollars. Cool Brewing Cooler will work with multiple sized fermenters. 100% waterproof so will not leave condensation. It folds up for easy storage when not in use or travel. Will work great in condos and warm climates where you need a swamp cooler even for Ale’s! Contains the mess of any fermentation blowouts Inner dimensions: 20.5"D x 25.5"H

The CoolBot Pro brings you all the great features of the standard CoolBot with added WiFi connectivity, allowing you to monitor and control your cold room from your smartphone through the free mobile app. The CoolBot Pro enables a standard air conditioner to cool a room or space down to 34°F. Easily installs with no tools or electrical knowledge required. The CoolBot Pro comes paired with the Jumper WiFi relay module, which installs on the outside of your cold room. Once the jumper is connected to your wireless network, you can use the free mobile app to control your CoolBot from virtually anywhere with a WiFi connection. Monitor your cold room remotely, adjust temperatures on the fly, or program the app to send you notifications if something is amiss. Whether you're on the go during a busy work week or taking some well-earned R&R, CoolBot Pro has your back! Standard A/C units available from any hardware or appliance store have lots of power, but they are electronically restricted to not go below 60°F.  This is because they would freeze up. Commercial refrigeration for walk-in coolers combat freeze with increased surface area on the fins and fans. Instead the CoolBot technology uses multiple sensors, a heating element and programmed micro-controller to control your air conditioner in such a way that the unit can go below 60°F and not freeze up.  The CoolBot cannot give you 100% of the BTUs listed on your air conditioner, nor is suitable for large brewery or winery walk-ins. But it is perfect for wine cellars, beer storage, fermentation, and many other applications.  Easy to install within 30 minutes with no tools or electrical knowledge required. While we can't tell you exactly what size space you can cool because of ambient temperatures and insulation factors, we recommend you google CoolBot. They have sold over 50,000 of these so there are lots of reviews and actual installs out there. We offer free shipping on this unit, ship fast from both coasts, and have great customer service.   This type of system is also very efficient. Most commercial systems are power hogs with large fans that are always running.  Residential A/C units are made for efficiency. The CoolBot Pro will also shut down the compressor for a short time when the unit is running at its highest level of inefficiency, as it nears freeze up.   Features: Trusted CoolBot technology now with WiFi connectivity and mobile app Allows a standard window air conditioner to cool a room to 34°F Interactive refrigeration for Brewing, Winemaking, Restaurants, Agricultural Purposes & More Mobile app: remote temperature reading and adjustments, receive critical alerts, data storage and reporting Cool Bot Pro and Jumper WiFi relay module included Free mobile app features require WiFi connection Made in the USA Controller Dimensions: 6.5" x 3.4" x 1.1" Jumper Dimensions: 4" x 3.6" x 1.1" Please note: the instruction manual references a paid subscription for the mobile app. The mobile app is now offered for free, with no subscription required.

  • Cooling Snake - 0.6 Meter

Cooling Snake | 0.6 Meters | 0.11 m² Surface Area

Cold stabilization in one barrel or control fermentation temperatures in a 100L tank. With an overall length of 20 in. this little snake can be used to control temperatures in any small batch. You will need a glycol system or at least a cold or hot water source to connect to the snake. How it works:  This tube-within-a-tube snake is used to recirculate glycol or cooled/heated water through your wine to regulated temperatures. The inner vinyl tube runs through the middle of the corrugated stainless tubing, but is shorter than the stainless tubing. Glycol can run through one tube and back through the other, completing the loop. Use our custom made Snake Bung to make an air tight seal. Slides over the snake and seals it to the barrel or the traditional air lock hole in a variable volume lid (provided the hole is approximately 1 3/4 in. in diameter.) Or punch a 1 3/4in. hole in any tank or lid. Snakes are outfitted with 1/2in. male NPT threads on both the inlet and outlet.  The inlet is at 90 degrees and the outlet is straight. 1 3/8" diameter.  0.11 m² Surface area. Can also be used for heating

  • Copper Sulfate (1%) - 1 fl oz

    Copper Sulfate (1%) | 1 oz

Some homewinemakers will treat wine affected with Hydrogen Sulfide (rotten egg smell) by stirring with a copper rod or racking through a copper "scrubby". Copper converts the the hydrogen sulfide into copper sulfide, which is not soluble in wine. After a few days the wine is racked off the copper sulfide which by that time has precipitated down to the bottom of your vessel. However, putting wine in direct contact with a non-measured amount of copper can result in residual copper being left in your wine, especially in low pH environments. A more professional approach to the reduciton of Hydrogen Sulfide is to use a measured amount of copper sulfate in a 1% solution. Normally a trial is set up to determine the least amount needed to eliminate the problem (see FIN84 bench trial kit). Because the amounts used are very small, it will be necessary to use a pipette. Add the correct amount of copper sulphate in small .1 ppm doses. Wait several days for the copper sulfide to settle out and then rack off the lees. Do not add copper sulphate during an active fermentation as it may actually cause more hydrogen sulfide to form. If you detect hydrongen sulfide or "rotten egg" smell during fermentation, it is a sign of poor yeast nutrition. Add the recommended amount of Fermaid K (AD345) for the amount of yeast you used to correct this issue - it should keep you from having to use the copper later!

    Cork and Stopper Retriever

    1 review

Use this handy device for removing corks and stopper that were accidentally pushed into bottles and carboys. To use, slide the plastic retaining fitting to the top of the wires (by the handle). Insert the wires into your bottle, and turn the container upside down. Move the container around until the cork or stopper falls roughly into the center of the 3 prongs. Slide the retaining fitting down the wires, until it tightens around the cork or stopper. Gently pull the handle out of the bottle, while keeping the cork or stopper centered between the wires.

  • Low stock! Corks - 1 3/4" Grade 1 (1000ct)

    Corks - 1 3/4 Inch Grade 1 (1000ct)

Superior cork quality for those needing a little extra confidence for longer ageing! A standard length and diameter single punch cork in a high quality grading at a reasonable price. Corks are typically graded on a scale of 1-10, 1 being the best score, based on the degree of porousness that the actual punch of cork exhibits. Cork trees that show a higher population of worms or fungi tend to yield cork crops which are more porous. As a result, this bag of corks is of generally higher quality and has less variation between the highest and lowest quality cork in the package. These corks are harvested and punched in Portugal, like the majority of the rest of the corks available today. They are processed, sorted, prepped and packaged here in Northern California.

Superior cork quality without Grade 1 or 2 pricing! These corks are identical to our standard Grade 3 cork product (W431), except that they have been sorted to a higher standard (US sorting). Our standard Grade 3 corks are assembled through what is called an "AC" sorting, the standard sorting and grading procedure for our cork supplier. To generate a "US" sorting, a standard lot of AC-sorted Grade 3 corks is re-sorted to remove the lowest quality 12% of the lot. As a result, this bag of corks is of generally higher quality and has less variation between the highest and lowest quality cork in the package. This package represents a higher level of quality without the huge jump in price that you would have to pay to move to Grade 2 or Grade 1 corks.

  • Corn Sugar (Dextrose) - PLACEHOLDER Corn Sugar (Dextrose) - PLACEHOLDER

Corn Sugar (Premium Dextrose) | Non-GMO & Domestic

    104 reviews

Premium Domestic Source: Sourced entirely from 100% US corn. Non-GMO: Meets modern consumer demands for clean-label ingredients. 100% Fermentable: Guarantees a reliable, complete fermentation with no residual sweetness. Neutral Flavor Profile: Will not add any unwanted color, flavor, or aroma to your beverage, protecting your recipe's integrity. High Purity & Solubility: Dissolves quickly and clearly in water. Fuel your fermentation with the cleanest, most reliable sugar on the market. Our Non-GMO, Domestic Dextrose Monohydrate (Corn Sugar) is the industry standard for beverage producers seeking purity, consistency, and high performance. As a simple sugar (glucose), our dextrose is 100% fermentable by yeast. This ensures a rapid and complete fermentation, leaving behind a clean, neutral flavor profile that lets your final product—whether beer, hard seltzer, or wine—shine. We offer competitive pricing on bulk sacks for full-scale production and also provide smaller, conveniently packaged sizes for pilot batches, lab work, or homebrewing. Applications for Your Beverage For Beer Brewers 1. Priming & Bottle Conditioning Dextrose is the classic choice for "priming," or creating natural carbonation in the bottle or keg. We recommend it because it's easy for the yeast to consume and has a perfectly neutral flavor, leaving your beer tasting exactly as you designed it. Standard Use: Use 4-5 oz. of dextrose to prime 5 gallons of beer. Sanitary Prep: Dissolve the sugar in 1-1.5 pints of water and boil for 5 minutes to sanitize before gently mixing it with your beer. 2. Gravity & ABV Boosting Need to hit your Original Gravity (OG) target without affecting flavor? Dextrose is the solution. Clean Addition: Adds fermentable sugars without increasing body, color, or adding the "cidery" taste associated with other sugars. Yield: Adds 1.042 points per pound per gallon (PPG) to your specific gravity.   For Hard Seltzer, Wine & Other Beverages Hard Seltzer: Dextrose is the ideal fermentable base for hard seltzer. Its clean profile and high fermentability create a neutral alcohol base that is perfect for flavoring. Yeast Propagation: Use it as a pure carbohydrate source for growing and propagating yeast slurries. Wine: Can be used to increase the potential alcohol (chaptalization) in wines without adding non-grape flavors. Technical Data and Usage Guides Gravity Calculation PPG: 1.042 (Adds 1.042 to specific gravity when 1 lb. is dissolved in 1 gallon of water) Formula to Hit Target Gravity: Dextrose Needed (lbs.) = (Batch Volume [gal] $\times$ (Target Gravity - Actual Gravity)) / 0.042 Example: To raise 5 gallons from 1.040 to 1.050: (5 x (1.050 - 1.040)) / 0.042 = 1.19 lbs. of dextrose   Carbonation Guide This guide helps you calculate the CO2 volumes added by priming. Total carbonation is the sum of the CO2 retained after fermentation plus the CO2 added by priming. Priming Amount (per 5 gal) CO2 Volumes Added 4 oz 1.48 Volumes 5 oz 1.84 Volumes Residual CO2: Beer fermented at 68°F (20°C) retains ~1.0 volume of CO2. Beer fermented at 50°F (10°C) retains ~1.2 volumes. To convert volumes to g/L: Multiply volumes x 1.96. Suggested CO2 Levels (Volumes)   Cask Ales 1.5 - 2.0 American & English Ales 2.3 - 2.6 Lagers 2.4 - 2.6 Highly Carbonated (e.g., Weissbier) 3.0+ A Note on Packaging: The photo is a sample representation. • Cornelius Keg Barrel Top Up System

Cornelius Keg Barrel Top Up System | Argon or Nitrogen Tank & Regulator | Ball Lock

The Most Essential Barrel Accessory! Keep your wine safe and ensure the integrity of your barrel with this top-up system. We're all familiar with the fact that barrels lose volume over time - in fact the evaporation that leads to this is one of the benefits of aging wine in a barrel. However, let it go too far with out topping up and the excess headspace in the barrel will cause your SO2 levels to drop and open the door to oxidative or bacterial spoilage. That is why it is essential to keep your barrel topped up at all times! Our MoreWine! Topping system is based around the common 5 gallon Cornelius ("Corny") Keg. These kegs are relatively inexpensive, simple to work with and easy to get parts for. 5 gallons of topping wine is about the right amount to work with a new 30 gallon barrel. The best part about topping up your barrel from a keg is that the wine that remains in the keg is always protected by a layer of the inert gas that you used to push the previous wine out, so it doesn't matter how long the wine sits in the keg! This kit includes the Argon/Nitrogen tank and regulator for you to push the wine out of the keg, and all the tubing and other parts that you need to make it work, as well as comprehensive instructions. Kit Includes: New High Quality Italian 5 gallon "Corny" keg 20 cu. ft. Argon/Nitrogen tank Argon/Nitrogen regulator Tubing and hardware to connect the gas regulator to the keg Tubing and hardware to dispense wine from the keg into your barrel Cleaning brush for your dispense line Comprehensive instructions for assembly and use
