Speidel has developed a stainless steel fermenting egg that combines the advantages of the egg shape with the advantages of a stainless steel tank and a unique design. The Black Eye looks like a space satellite from the outside and provides a gentle and well controllable fermentation inside. Due to its unique shape, the yeast can circulate smoothly during the fermentation phase. In science it is assumed that this free circulation is an advantage for the fermentation process and thus for the entire aroma spectrum. Thanks to the perfect welding seams and the highly smooth inner walls, the fermenting chamber is also very easy to clean.

One of the first truly tropical-forward varieties, Simcoe® defines the balanced catty/blackcurrant and tropical fruit notes so sought after in early West Coast IPAs on through today’s Hazys and Milkshake IPAs.
Optimized Hop Extracts
Compared to other hop-extracts, the Quantum Series tastes better, performs better, and is easier to use. It works with everything from Pils to Porters with no special handling required. Easily flowable at cool, ambient, and warm temperatures. Gone are the days of warming up your extract or scrubbing the sticky gunk out of your equipment.
Compared to hops and pellets, the Quantum Series offers a 100% utilization rate and can be used at any stage of the brewing process. It cuts down on shipping and storage costs by an order of magnitude, not to mention the labor savings from not having to lug boxes around.
Quantum Tastes Better
The Quantum Series is an evolutionary leap forward in aroma and brewing technology. When you get down to it, nobody wants to use an extract product that makes their beer taste worse off. Extracts have taken a bad rap because they can often add more problems than they solve and, frankly, they don’t always taste the greatest. Abstrax gets it. That’s why, above all else, flavor and aroma come first with Quantum.
Dosage
Consider 1mL of Quantum Brite the flavor/aroma equivalent of 1 oz of T-90 pellet hops. Add after fermentation is complete, ideally at the coldest and latest point in your process, in your fermenter, keg, or bottling bucket. Or even add a drop or two to spike your finished beer in the glass.
Features:
100% efficient flavor/aroma transfer
Consistent from batch to batch
No yield loss from absorption
Quantum will not affect IBU test results and cannot cause lightstruck off-flavors
Zero Undesirable Plant Compounds
No Lipids
No Chlorophyll
Recommended storage: 40-90°F. Do not freeze.

Colle Perle is a hydrolyzed gelatin solution. Primary uses are clarification and the removal of bitter tannins and phenolics. Colle Perle flocculates and settles well. Desirable aromas and flavors are retained while harsh characters are removed. It is particularly useful to optimize potential of hard pressed product. In white wines it can be used in conjunction with bentonite to compact lees.
Dosage - Applied at a rate of 4 ml / gal.
Usage:
Juice - Dilute Colle Perle 1:1 in water. Add at the beginning of cold settling and mix evenly and completely throughout the juice. When used in juice Colle Perle should be used in conjunction with bentonite or Gelocolle to improve settling. Racking should be done after 1 week.
Wine in Aging - Dilute Colle Perle 1:1 in water. Stir vigorously into the wine to ensure thorough distribution. Racking should be done after 1 week. Filtration is possible 48-72 hours after fining with Colle Perle.

The best brewers make large yeast starters to get their beer fermenting fast. Large populations of active yeast help ensure flavorful beer free of off flavors. Our large 3000ml Erlenmyer Flask is a great vessel to make a large yeast starter for 5 gallon lagers and high gravity brews. Because it is made from borosilicate glass you can move it from a boil on your gas stove into a cold water bath for cooling, without the risk of cracking. (We do not recommend the use of an electric element. If this cannot be avoided, we recommend using a larger pot as a hot water bath on the stove.) This means you can do the whole process in one container, keeping it simple and helping to reduce the risk of contamination when transferring from one container to another. Recommended Process for Use of Flask: Double Boiler Method It is important for your safety to heat water in the flask with a heat source that distributes heat evenly. Our manufacturer has confirmed that direct heat to the glass can break down its integrity and break if the heat source doesn't distribute evenly. Morebeer! recommends using the "double boiler method." This process involves using a boiling water bath on the outside of the flask to heat up the water inside the flask. All you need is a kettle 3 gallons or larger. This process is much safer and efficient. If the flask should break or boil over, your kettle will be there to collect the contents, thus keeping your stove clean and keeping you away from potential harm. Features Massive 3L (3000mL) Capacity Made from Borosilicate Glass Fantastic price for a flask of this size Produced for MoreBeer! " base " top "H Why make a yeast starter? (from our FAQ) We build starters for 3 main reasons. First, to ensure yeast health. By making a starter 1-3 days in advance, you ensure that your yeast is healthy and strong and ready to do its job. Second, to create more yeast. By making the starter you will increase the cell count of the yeast, giving you a better chance of keeping bacteria's and wild yeasts from fermenting your wort. Third, if you are making high gravity beers. If you are making a high gravity beer (1.060+) you will need more yeast to start the ferment faster. High gravity beers will also finish more completely when you pitch ample quantities of yeast. In the lab world, these flasks are known as "Student Grade". A great flask for making yeast starters!(Student grade is not the highest grade flasks and will have minor defects) Kegland Part Number: KL03995
The Hop Bong is a versatile pressurizable tri-clamp accessory, capable of not only dry hopping oxygen purged hops into fermenters, but also as an inline carbonation/oxygenation accessory. Load up the Hop Bong, flush it with CO2, purge out oxygen with the handy PRV on top, then simply open the Butterfly Valve to inject your beer with a 6 oz payload of dry hops.
If you're an existing FermZilla Conical or All Rounder user and you already own the Pressure Kit with 2x Ball Lock Caps and floating dip tube, check out the Hop Bong Upgrade Kit.
The 3 Pieces of the Hop Bong Pressure Pack:
Pressure Kit
The Pressure Kit includes two Ball Lock Caps with the Floating Dip Tube and Filter Attachment. These pieces allow you to pressure transfer finished beer out of the fermenter into kegs or a bottling bucket, or you can carbonate and serve beer directly from the FermZilla.
Tri-Clamp Pressure Lid
Replacing the standard lid with the FermZilla Tri-Clamp Pressure Lid provides you with a 2" T.C. port at the top of your fermenter. This will give you an opening to add dry hops or other additions without needing to remove the entire lid. Take off the butterfly valve to add your yeast pitch, and when you're ready to add flavoring additions when fermentation is complete, drop them in oxygen-free via the Hop Bong. PCO1881 threaded ports are there for your Ball Lock Caps, as well as undrilled ports for an optional Thermowell and/or Temp Twister cooling coil.
Hop Bong
Load up the Hop Bong and add CO2 to purge your hop charge of oxygen. This kit comes with a third Ball Lock Cap to introduce CO2 directly to the Hop Bong, as well as a pull ring PRV to release pressure and purge oxygen. Once you've flushed your hop charge with CO2, open the butterfly valve to inject your beer with up to 6 oz of hop pellets.
Hop Pellet Capacity: 150–180g (5.2–6.3 oz)
Kit Includes:
FermZilla 2" T.C. Pressure Lid Starter Kit
2" Hop Bong
2" FermZilla Tri-Conical Butterfly Valve
Floating Dip Tube
Weighted Mesh Filter Attachment (KEG6571)
Red PRV & PCO1881 Cap Combo
Yellow Ball Lock Cap
(2) Red Ball Lock Caps
(2) 2" Tri-Clamps
(2) 2" Silicone T.C. Gaskets
KegLand Part Number: KB10897
Installation Note: For best performance, ensure there is not an excess amount of slack when the silicone dip tube is installed and shorten it if needed. With the floating dip tube installed on your empty FermZilla, you ideally want the dip tube to hang freely with just enough length for the end of the dup tube to touch the bottom of the tank.
Warning: Always depressurize your system COMPLETELY before removing fittings from your fermenter.

Consistent results every time. Eliminates the variance of using hops that may differ by age, crop year, storage conditions, growing region, processing method or farm
Replace pellet hops: 5mL is equal to roughly 5.5 oz of pellet hops, while 1 oz of Quantum is equal to 2 lbs of pellet hops
Strata® Quantum Brite
The heir apparent to the Citra® throne, Strata® represents the future of flavors being sought out in the marketplace. Strong tropical fruit notes of mango and passionfruit are followed by what can only be described as robust dankness.

Rwanda – Bwishaza Kungahara Process Trio (Washed • Natural • Carbonic)
These are three distinct expressions of the same Kungahara foundation from Rwanda, Bourbon grown at 1,650–1,800 m (5,413–5,906 ft), released as separate process lots. It is genuinely rare to have coffee of this quality from the same origin offered in three unique processing methods, and for anyone roasting coffee, this is an unusually clean way to explore and understand what washed, natural, and carbonic processing actually mean in the cup.
The washed version nails the “clean and sweet” lane without turning thin or sour, starting bright and getting deeper and more syrupy as it cools with grape jelly, black currant, and honey sweetness and a gentle rooibos like finish that keeps everything crisp and tidy (Grape jelly • Sweet black tea • Black currant • Honey). The natural is the same lot in a rounder, fruitier, more juicy form, with ripe fruit sweetness up front, a deeper jammy middle, and a finish that stays surprisingly clean for a natural, think apricot, blueberry, melon, and a light black licorice/anise accent that adds depth without turning funky (Apricot • Blueberry • Melon • Black licorice). And the carbonic is the wild card in the best way, leaning into bigger aromatics and a juicier, more candy like fruit character while staying intentional (not chaotic), with apricot, tart rhubarb like sparkle, melon sweetness, and a lemon lime pop that lifts the finish and keeps it from going heavy (Apricot • Rhubarb • Melon • Lemon lime), and last year this exceptional green scored 95 points from Coffee Review and was chosen the No. 12 best coffee of 2025
Washed tasting notes: Grape jelly • Sweet black tea • Black currant • Honey
Natural tasting notes: Apricot • Blueberry • Melon • Black licorice
Carbonic tasting notes: Apricot • Rhubarb • Melon • Lemon lime
Across the trio, the washed lot is the trustworthy “anchor” you can build a lineup around, clean enough to showcase nuance, structured enough to add sweetness, clarity, and a tidy finish in blends without hijacking the cup, while the natural is the more expressive sibling with more fruit, more sweetness, and more aroma that stays controlled and “put together,” and the carbonic is high impact without being a total science project: carbonic coffees can go “funk first” fast, but this one stays surprisingly polished, sweet, bright, and loud in the aromatics, without getting overly boozy or weird. All three tend to reward a careful, lighter roast: keep them clean for clarity and lift, and if you push too far you start trading those high notes for heavier, muddier or muted flavors.
Bwishaza washing station + women led impact: Kungahara is a women’s group within the Bwishaza cooperative, formed with outside support to help women producers strengthen quality, consistency, and market access. Their coffee is processed through Bwishaza’s quality infrastructure (including the washing station for washed lots), where careful sorting and controlled processing support the clean, consistent profiles Rwanda is known for. Just as important, premiums tied to women grown lots are designed to flow back into the group and the community, supporting training, ongoing quality improvements, and shared projects like collectively managed coffee land, including paying down the loan on a shared plot the women planted and farm together.
Unlock a more diverse and complex hop aroma profile in your beer by liberating hidden terpene compounds during fermentation
Enhance the drinkability of your beer and reduce harsh bitterness while potentially using less hops or more accessible varieties
Aromazyme™ not only boosts hop flavor complexity but can also slightly improve wort fermentability for added brewing efficiency
Aromazyme™ is a food-grade enzyme preparation with a strong glycosidase activity derived from a selected strain of Aspergillus niger. It is composed of β-glucosidase enzymes that are capable of hydrolyzing the glycosidic bonds, liberating monoterpene alcohol compounds, and glucose. It has been developed to increase the complexity of the hop aroma and flavor profile in beer. The application of Aromazyme™ during fermentation provides brewers with the opportunity to improve their hop utilization by releasing additional volatile aroma compounds, thereby decreasing overall hop quantities or using less sophisticated hop varieties.
Benefits:
Increases the diversity of hop flavors and aroma by changing the ratio
of specific terpene compounds
Enhances the beer mouthfeel and drinkability by reducing unpleasant,
harsh bitterness
Slightly increases wort fermentability
Expresses more character from less sophisticated hop varieties
Over 50% of total oils are Selinene—a sesquiterpene rarely found in hops
Alora™ has 5X the amount of bound 3MH thiol precursors than Cascade
Aroma—Peach, apricot, yuzu fruit, sweet melon with an alpha range of 7-10%
Alora™ is the latest aroma hop from the Hopsteiner Breeding Program best known for her unique oil composition, high 3MH thiol precursors, and tantalizing aroma. Along with Alora™’s distinct oil and thiol composition, she is also one of the most carbon footprint friendly hops grown to date with stacked genetic disease resistances.

Abstrax® Skyfarm Series represents the freshest, most perfect version of fruit flavor and aroma
Add high-amplitude, recognizable fruit flavor to your beer, cider, or seltzer without the hassle and potential downsides of using whole fruit or puree
Flavor/Aroma: Citrus, Sweet, Fruity
Built with terpenes for consistent results every time. Absolutely no variance or guesswork that comes with fresh fruit products
Zero added sugar guarantees there's no risk of refermentation after you add it to your beverage
Blood Orange
Sweet neon rays of layered citrus and futuristic florals give juicy Blood Orange the necessary fuel to leave Earth behind and jet across the stars. This is a space age makeover that takes citrus to new celestial heights.
Natural Fruit Flavors
The Skyfarm series represents the freshest, most perfect version of fruit flavor and aroma. It has none of that “cooked” off-flavor that can sometimes tank a beer. There’s also none of that grandma’s perfume, potpourri, or floral junk either.
Skyfarm is high-amplitude, recognizable flavor - and that’s important because when you put Strawberry on your bottle label or tap handle, people are going to expect to smell strawberries. It’s built with terpenes for the ultimate flavor consistency, ensuring the same flavor in every season.
Benefits
Skyfarm offers the same ease-of-use benefits as fruit purees without the downsides. No sugar is added to your batch so there's no risk of refermentation, there's no solid waste to remove when your beer is ready to be packaged, and there's a much lower risk of micro contamination compared to adding fruit products to your vessel when fermentation is complete. Since you can add Skyfarm at the coldest point in your process - after cold crashing, in the brite tank, or your keg - there is also no risk of aromatic compounds being driven out through your blowoff. Skyfarm also contributes no haze to your finished beer and doesn't leave a sticky residue behind, so you can forget about scrubbing fruit gunk from your tanks.
Dosage
Dosing rate greatly depends on your recipe and desired flavor intensity. We recommend starting with 2.5 mL for a 5-gallon batch and increasing to 5-15 mL for high-intensity flavor impact. Add after fermentation is complete, ideally at the coldest and latest point in your process, in your fermenter, keg, or bottling bucket.
Features:
100% efficient flavor/aroma transfer
No added mouthfeel. Won't impart sweetness or body
Contains no sugar. Zero risk of refermentation
Increases yield by avoiding product absorption
TTB Approved
Powered by Terpenes
Repeatable
Recommended storage: 40-90°F. Do not freeze.
