BeerStix Tank Staves are basically oversized Carboy Stix that are designed to treat larger volumes of beer stored in tanks. These are TSS-60 Tank Staves, which are sized for 60 gal batches of beer. Thanks to careful selection of oak, followed by precise aging and seasoning, and exact toasting, these Staves will provide a round and rich oak character specific to the toast level and origin. French Oak toasted to a Medium + with the beerstix milling will give your beer toasted roasty aromas reminiscent of coffee, along with some caramel, and a subtle sweetness that gets the whole palate. Different beer styles will accentuate or mask different flavors from the oak, so expect some variation!
The Beerstix miling gives 60% more surface area compared to the Winestix, speeding up the extraction process, and getting you a beer that has a rich oak character, in less time. The Beer Stix are also milled thinner than the WineStix, allowing for denser toasting.
Features:
Oak Origin - France, Allier Region
Toast Level - Medium Plus
Oak Form - Tank Stave, TSS-60
Volume Treated - 60 gal Beer
Extraction Time - 2 Months (see note below)
Flavors & Aromas - Coffee, Roasted Toasty aromas, Caramel, Slight Sweetness
Please Note - Allow 2 months minimum extraction time to balance the extraction of short and long grain from the Stix. Removal of the wood early only allows certain extractions of flavors and primarily from the short grain in the BeerStix® milling.
WineStix are a new form of oak integration for wine, designed to give new barrel flavors with an extraction time similar to cubes. The combination of Short and Long grains result in amazing gradience of flavor similar to barrels, while extracting significantly quicker! These are Medium Plus toast French Oak Tank Staves from the Allier forest, and depending on the wine, will impart flavors of vanilla and coffee, while clearing out negative vegetal flavors and astringency from the wine. The French Oak Tank Staves are sized to provide New Barrel flavor to a 60 gallon lot of wine. Doing more than 60 gallons? Simply toss in another stave! Another advantage of the WineStix over traditional staves is that these will not stick together like flat staves would, the cross-hatch pattern will result in consistent extraction throughout the life of these. These can also be cut down if necessary to dose a smaller batch of wine.
4" W x 37" Long
Imported grape picking bucket from Italy with a sturdy handle. Is more maneuverable than a 5 gallon bucket when trying to get in and around grapevines and is also much easier to carry. They do a lot of handpicking in Italy... they have it figured out!
*Basket color may vary
This is a very simple, but highly effective tool for picking grapes. Essentially a funnel that does not have a hole. Hold it one-handed underneath a grape bunch and clip off the grapes with your other hand. Way easier than holding a bucket where the handle, and your hand, are constantly in the way.

The HI84502-55 is a 120 mL bottle of pump calibration standard that is used to calibrate the dosing system of the HI84502 TItratable Acidity Mini Titrator for Wine Analysis. With 4 mL of solution required per pump calibration, there is enough standard to perform approximately 30 pump calibrations. A calibrated dosing pump allows for the accurate determination of the amount of titrant used when performing a titration. The amount of volume dosed along with the concentration of the titrant is used by the pre-programmed formula within the HI84502 in determining the exact titratable acidity. The pump calibration procedure should be performed anytime the titrant or pH electrode is replaced. Routine calibration is recommended to ensure the highest of accuracy when performing a titration.
Pre-measured solution
Clearly marked expiration date and lot number
Air tight bottle with tamper-proof seal to ensure quality
Analysis of titratable acidity in wine, as performed on the HI84502 mini titrator, utilizes a simple sample preparation, a high-quality titrant dosing pump, potentiometric endpoint detector, and automatic computations. As the titrant comes pre-standardized, it is important to determine the amount of titrant delivered by the dosing pump by performing a pump calibration procedure. In this procedure, the analysis of a known volume of a known solution is titrated with to the pH 8.2 endpoint determined by the HI1048B pH electrode. The same pump calibration solution is used for both the low and high ranges. The pump calibration procedure should be performed anytime the titrant, syringe, tubing or pH electrode is replaced. It is recommended to do a pump calibration every time a new set of titrations are to be performed.
Replacement reagents required to operate the HI84502 include:
Low Range - 0.1 to 5.0 g/L of tartaric acid
High Range - 4.0 to 25.0 g/L of tartaric acid

The HI84500-61 is a 120 mL bottle of alkaline reagent required for determination of total sulfur dioxide in wine using the HI84500 Sulfur Dioxide Mini Titrator for Wine Analysis. This alkaline reagent is used to raise the pH value of the sample prior to performing a total sulfur dioxide titration. With 5 mL of reagent required per total SO2 test, there is enough alkaline reagent for approximate 24 tests.
Pre-measured solution
Clearly marked expiration date and lot number
Air tight bottle with tamper-proof seal to ensure quality
The HI84500-61 alkaline reagent is necessary for the analysis of total sulfur dioxide. The alkaline reagent raises the pH and liberates bound sulfur dioxide. This pH adjustment ensures that all of the free and bound sulfur dioxide is accounted for to give an accurate measurement of total sulfur dioxide. The HI3148B ORP electrode is used to detect the endpoint for both the low (1.0 to 40.0 ppm of SO2) and high (30 to 400 ppm of SO2) ranges. The HI84500 can be used with all wines, including red, which are difficult to test using traditional methods due to the difficulty to observe a distinctive color change when the endpoint is reached.
The HI84500 determines the free and total sulfur dioxide concentration in wine using the Ripper method. Excess iodide is added to the wine sample and reacts with the iodate titrant to produce iodine:
IO3- + 5I- + 6H+ → 3I2 + 3H2O
The iodine produced reacts with sulfur dioxide in the wine according to the redox reaction below:
H2SO3 + I2 → H2SO4 + 2HI
Replacement reagents required to operate the HI84500 include:
Low Range - 1.0 to 40.0 ppm SO2
High Range - 30 to 400 ppm SO2

Superior cork quality without Grade 1 or 2 pricing!
These corks are identical to our standard Grade 3 cork product (W431), except that they have been sorted to a higher standard (US sorting). Our standard Grade 3 corks are assembled through what is called an "AC" sorting, the standard sorting and grading procedure for our cork supplier. To generate a "US" sorting, a standard lot of AC-sorted Grade 3 corks is re-sorted to remove the lowest quality 12% of the lot. As a result, this bag of corks is of generally higher quality and has less variation between the highest and lowest quality cork in the package. This package represents a higher level of quality without the huge jump in price that you would have to pay to move to Grade 2 or Grade 1 corks.
A set of "elbows" is great for connecting hoses to a pump so they run parallel to each other. With 2" and 3" hose, this dramatically reduces the space needed to allow the pump to pass. In addition, having the lines run parallel makes the pump more agile when moving around the brewery or winery when connected.
304-type polished stainless.
40cm x 40cm filter pads made for 40x40 plate filters. 2-3 micron pads are for general polishing of wines that do not need to be sterile filtered. Please note that all pad filters are rated 'nominal', meaning that about 90-95% of all particulate matter at the micron rating will be filtered out. There will always be a little bit of smaller material that is also filtered out, as well as some larger material that will make it through.
The filters can be sterilized by in-line steam, auto-claving, dry heat, hot water or chemical methods. We choose to run Saniclean (CL27) solution through the pads followed by sterile water or a small amount of wine that is then discarded. After the solution is run through the pads, and the pads have softened, the filter will need to be re-tightened.
Each pad has an entry side and an exit side, distinguishable by their different textures. The entry side is a billowy type texture, frequently called the "rough" side; and the exit side has a crosshatch pattern and is commonly called the "smooth" side. For more information on how to load filter sheets into your plate and frame filter, see our Guide to Plate Filtering.

Also called Epernay II. Produces fine white wines with fruity/estery aromas. A steady, yet moderate to slow fermenter, it is easy to stop fermentation in cases where residual sugar is desired. Recommended for fruit wines, ciders and meads as well. Ferments from 50 to 80 degrees.
Authentic Witbier Flavor: Delivers classic clove, mild pepper, and subtle fruit notes.
Lets Adjuncts Shine: Restrained profile perfectly highlights orange peel and coriander additions.
Enhanced Mouthfeel: Leaves trace maltotriose unfermented for a richer, more satisfying body.
Classic Witbier Haze: Rouses beautifully to create a stable, traditional powdery haze in the glass.
Looking to brew the perfect Belgian Witbier? SafAle™ BW-20 from Fermentis is the ideal choice for crafting authentic, flavor-forward wheat beers. This specialized dry strain delivers a balanced profile of subtle fruitiness paired with the signature clove and black pepper phenols that define the style. Because this yeast character remains pleasantly restrained, it provides an excellent foundation to let traditional witbier adjuncts—like sweet orange peel and crushed coriander—truly take center stage.
On the technical side, BW-20 intentionally leaves a fraction of maltotriose unfermented, which translates to a richer, more satisfying body and mouthfeel in your finished beer. You can also expect medium, clump-free sedimentation that rouses beautifully, creating the classic powdery haze that looks absolutely perfect in the glass.
Key Characteristics:
Ideal Styles: Belgian Witbier and traditional wheat beers
Flavor Profile: Subtle fruit, distinct clove, and mild pepper
Mouthfeel: Enhanced body (due to residual maltotriose)
Appearance: Pours with a traditional, stable powdery haze
This yeast can be pitched directly, but if you prefer to rehydrate, the instructions are below.
Sprinkle the yeast in a minimum of 10 times its weight of sterile water or wort (we suggest 4 oz) at 70°F to 77°F (21 to 25 °C). Do not stir. Leave to rest 15 to 30 minutes. Gently stir for 30 minutes, and pitch the resultant cream into the fermentation vessel.
Apparent Attenuation: 77-83%
Sedimentation: Medium
Alcohol Tolerance: 9-11% ABV
Optimum Fermentation Temp: 64-78°F
*See the technical data sheet below for more information on rehydration, usage and storage.
Non-Alcoholic Specialization: Specifically selected for the production of low-alcohol and non-alcoholic beers with a focus on flavor integrity.
Maltose-Negative Strain: Does not ferment maltose or maltotriose, leaving a high-quality residual sweetness and full body without the alcohol.
Authentic Flavor Profile: Provides a clean, subtle ester profile that mimics traditional brewing results without the need for dealcoholization.
SafBrew™ LA-01 is a specialized Saccharomyces cerevisiae var. chevallieri strain developed specifically for the craft of low-alcohol and non-alcoholic beers (up to 0.5% ABV). Unlike standard brewer’s yeast, this "maltose-negative" strain only ferments simple sugars (glucose, fructose, and sucrose), leaving the more complex malt sugars untouched. This results in a brew that retains the natural mouthfeel, body, and sweetness of the grain, making it an essential tool for brewers looking to achieve professional results in the non-alcoholic space.
Maltose-Negative: Only consumes simple sugars, naturally limiting alcohol production while maintaining high residual extract for body.
Flavor Preservation: Produces a clean, neutral aromatic profile with very subtle fruity notes, allowing the hops and malt to define the beer.
POF Negative: Lacks the phenolic off-flavor (POF) gene, ensuring no unwanted clove or medicinal aromas in the final product.
Superior Body: Because it leaves maltose unfermented, the resulting beer has a rich, full-bodied mouthfeel that is often missing in low-alcohol beverages.
Controlled Kinetics: Ferments steadily until the simple sugars are depleted, providing a predictable and stable outcome.
Applications:
Non-Alcoholic Beers: The industry standard for creating beers at <0.5% ABV without the need for expensive vacuum distillation equipment.
Low-Alcohol Ales: Excellent for "Small Beers" or ultra-light ales where flavor density is required despite low gravity.
Alcohol-Free IPAs: Provides the necessary body and sweetness to balance high hopping rates in non-alcoholic hop-forward styles.
Malt Beverages: Ideal for creating non-fermented or lightly fermented malt drinks with a sophisticated, beer-like palate.
Flavor Profile:
Clean & Neutral: A very low ester profile that serves as a perfect canvas for specialized malts and late-addition hops.
Malty Sweetness: High residual maltose levels provide a natural, cereal-like sweetness and a rounder palate.
Crisp & Refreshing: Despite the residual sweetness, it finishes clean without cloying heavy esters.
Balanced Body: Successfully mimics the texture of a 4-5% ABV beer in a <0.5% ABV environment.
Usage:
Rehydration: Sprinkle the yeast in at least 10 times its weight of sterile water or hopped wort at 77°F–84°F (25°C–29°C). Let rest for 15 to 30 minutes, stir gently, and pitch the cream into the fermentation vessel.
Pitching Rate: Standard dosage is 50 to 80 g/hL (approximately 1.9 to 3 grams per gallon) to ensure a healthy population.
Pasteurization Requirement: Mandatory. Because the beer contains high levels of residual fermentable sugars (maltose), it must be pasteurized after packaging to prevent spoilage or secondary fermentation.
Fermentation Temperature: Performs optimally between 50°F and 77°F (10°C–25°C).
Gravity Management: Monitor initial sugar levels (simple sugars vs. maltose) carefully to ensure the final ABV remains within the desired 0.5% limit.
*See the technical data sheet below for more information on rehydration, usage and storage.
Safbrew™ LA-01 vs. Safbrew™ LA-02
While both Fermentis LA-01 and LA-02 are maltose-negative yeasts designed for brewing no- and low-alcohol beers, their genetic makeup yields distinct flavor profiles. SafBrew™ LA-01 (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) is a POF+ strain that naturally produces spicy, clove-like phenols, making it ideal for Belgian styles unless its expression is carefully suppressed during the mash. Conversely, SafBrew™ LA-02 is a non-Saccharomyces (Torulaspora) species that is naturally POF-negative, offering a completely clean, sweeter finish with malt and honey notes perfect for standard ales and lagers. Crucially, because both strains leave large amounts of unfermented complex sugars behind, beers brewed with either yeast require strict pasteurization to prevent unwanted refermentation and package bursting.

Welded 1.5" tri-clamp ports for a lifetime of leak-free use
304 stainless steel construction with mirror polish finish
SlingBlade electric heating element with Tri-Clamp connections
Front and back located handles with silicone grips
Notched lid provides cover while not interfering with immersion chillers, hop bags, or other accessories
The BrewBuilt Electric Kettle
The BrewBuilt Electric Brewing Kettle features an offset welded tri-clamp ferrule for easy installation of the SlingBlade electric heating element. The SlingBlade elements were designed specifically for the BrewBuilt kettles and each element fits the corresponding kettle like a glove, perfectly matching the curvature of the kettle wall and providing the appropriate amount of power for the volume size. The unique crescent-shaped design places the element on one side of the kettle, leaving the opposite side clear for an immersion chiller or other accessories. Positioning the element in this way also promotes a rolling boil that evenly ditributes heat throughout the kettle. You'll love the results you get with the SlingBlade's ultra-low watt density, which won't scorch your wort. The kettle does not come with a power cord so you'll need to provide your own extension cord, or add our watertight On/Off power switch for the most convenient way to power the element. Handles are located at the front and back, rather than either side, saving you space when building out a horizontal system and will keep fittings pointed away from you regardless of which side you pick up the kettle from. This model includes a T.C. x FPT ball valve with oversized 5/8" barb—ideal for using 1/2" ID silicone transfer tubing. Also available with Butterfly Valve or T.C. x T.C. Ball Valve hardware packs.
Designed for Brewing. Built to Last.
BrewBuilt brew kettles are made from 304 stainless steel and offer an unparalleled mix of features for the price. At the very top of the list are two welded-in place tri-clamp couplers that offer a lifetime of leak free use. As you can imagine, welding in a coupler costs more than punching a hole and using a gasketed (i.e. weld-less) fitting. Welded fittings offer a permanent connection that to us is worth every penny. The second unique feature that we absolutely love about these brew kettles is the notched lid with silicone plug. This notch allows you so much flexibility; you can use an immersion chiller, one of our Ultimate Sparge Arms for mashing, tie off hop bags, take a temp reading during cooling, or whatever else we all can dream up.
Our T.C. kettles were designed to keep pace with the ever-evolving world of brewing technology. Tri-clamp fittings are standard fare in professional breweries, and they’ve been widely adopted in homebrewing as T.C. fermenters and pumps become more affordable and widely available. Tri-clamp fittings, also known as Tri-clover, allow you to make a sanitary connection that is free of nooks and crannies for contaminants to take hold. They are much easier to break down for cleaning compared to threaded connections, and they don’t require Teflon tape to make a watertight seal. T.C. fittings and accessories also give you the distinct advantage of being able to clean in place (CIP), so you don’t need to break down your entire system after every brew day.
This Brew Kettle has a lot to offer...
Some other features we dig include the internal volume markers from the bottom to the top - so handy for instant reads. The silicone sleeved handles on the kettle and the lid are a cool feature to protect your hands. The tri-clad bottom with a 4mm core of aluminum sandwiched between two layers of stainless steel offers even heat distribution during the boil and also makes it a perfect choice for anyone wanting to use an induction burner. The bottom coupler is also cool with 1/2" male threads on the outside and 1/2'' female threads on the inside.
Beefy 304 Stainless
These kettles are made from 304 grade stainless. That means you will have less corrosion issues than with a kettle made from lower grade 201 type stainless. We put these kettles through a corrosive salt water test in the MoreBeer! shop and they passed with flying colors. We also made sure the rivets and riveted handles were also made of stainless steel for a long term, trouble free life. The 10 and 15 gallon size are made from 1.0mm thick stainless steel. The 20, 30 and 50 gallon size are made with 1.2mm stainless - that's pretty thick stuff - and you will know it when you pick one up. The included ball valve is a two piece design that allows for easy cleaning (we prefer these over 3 piece for ease of assembly) and is also made from 304 stainless.
Mirror Polish Finish
The mirror polish finish isn’t just for making your Instagram feed pop! This extra slick finish is much easier to clean and sanitize than a standard brushed stainless kettle. Hop trub and other organic solids left behind after a brew day will have a hard time clinging to the interior surface and scrub away with ease.
Size Ratios and Stuff
All the BrewBuilt kettles follow the recent trend to a 1.2:1 ratio where the height is 1.2 times the diameter. This is a proven commercial ratio that has been adopted in homebrewing to achieve a more consistent 10% evaporation rate during the boil. We do like this ratio for boiling. For Mashing we would prefer a little bit shallower but that is a small compromise. Dimensions for a hot-liquor tank, if you are thinking brewing system down the road, are irrelevant as any ratio kettle will do.
Final Words
With welded tri-clamp fittings, mirror polish finish, a bunch of cool features, and a solid, thick 304 stainless steel core this kettle is a pretty amazing value. Remember, if you order from MoreBeer! we ship free anywhere in the continental USA!
SlingBlade Heating Elements
The BrewBuilt SlingBlade's unique crescent-shaped design promotes a rolling boil and even heat distribution. This electric heating element places all of the heating power on one side of the kettle, sending thermal energy upward to the surface that then cascades downward on the opposite side of the kettle. This movement creates a natural turbulence that evenly distributes heat while creating a vigorous boil. By being located on one side of the kettle, the other side is clear for immersion chillers, and the curved shape won't obstruct the flow of wort during whirlpool. Thanks to the non-circular design, the SlingBlade can easily be installed on any kettle with a 1.5" tri-clamp ferrule. This also makes removing the element for cleaning between uses a breeze.

Ambient Flowability: Effortlessly flows at room temperature for easy, hassle-free additions without pre-heating.
Increased Wort Yield: Boosts yield by up to 5% by significantly reducing trub and solid matter in the whirlpool.
Amplified Aromatics: Highly soluble extract designed to deliver concentrated, variety-specific hop character.
Logistical Efficiency: Streamlines operations by reducing shipping costs and requiring less cold storage space.
Formerly YCH 702, DynaBoost is an oil-enriched extract that flows effortlessly at ambient temperatures.
DynaBoost was crafted as a hassle-free whirlpool addition that amplifies aromatics through a concentration of wort-soluble compounds. Thanks to that solubility, you get less solid matter impacting your waste stream and more wort heading to your fermenter, with some brewers reporting up to a 5% increase in wort yield.
Chief Advantages:
Easy to use
Flowable at room temperature
Increase hot side yield
Reduction of solid matter in the whirlpool and waste stream
Shipping and storage space reduction
How to Brew with DynaBoost?
DynaBoost serves as a versatile companion in the brewhouse, adding a rich and dynamic hop character to your beer. This exceptionally flowable oil extract delivers varietal hop characteristics to your brew through a high concentration of beer-soluble compounds. Thanks to its solubility, brewers may see an increase in wort yield due to a reduction in trub.
Kettle: DynaBoost carries variety-specific alpha acid content and can be used both as an early bittering addition, or a late aroma addition in the kettle.
Post-Boil / Whirlpool: DynaBoost was specifically designed to boost aromatics as a whirlpool addition. The wort soluble oil extract will deliver variety-specific aroma attributes and minimize trub, potentially increasing your whirlpool yield.
Fermentation: DynaBoost requires contact time with hot liquid to incorporate into wort or fermenting beer. For that reason, brewers who choose to use DynaBoost in the fermenter often use a "dip hop" method, where a small portion of the wort is transferred to the fermenter hot (170-200°F) along with DynaBoost. The hot wort and DynaBoost mixture is then allowed to stand for a short period before the main knockout at fermentation temperature, after which yeast can be pitched.
Dry Hopping: DynaBoost was not intended to be used as a dry-hop addition. Instead, it is recommended to replace 25-50% of dry hop additions with HyperBoost™, leaving up to 50% of the additions as T-90 or Cryo Hops® pellets.

40cm x 40cm filter pads made for 40x40 plate filters. 0.8 micron pads are for ultra-fine polishing of the wine, or for preparing hard to filter wines to go through a sterile cartridge filter.

High-Gravity Optimized: Precisely calibrated for 18–20% ABV sugar-wash fermentations.
Ultra-Clean Finish: Eliminates "turbo funk" by actively suppressing fusels, sulfur, and solvent off-flavors.
Advanced Nutrient System: Dual-phase nitrogen, fortified minerals, and vitamins protect yeast under extreme ethanol stress.
Highly Versatile Base: Produces a completely neutral alcohol perfect for 20% cocktails or diluted hard seltzers.
Broad Compatibility: Performs consistently with a wide range of distiller’s and specialty yeast strains.
Slayer 800 is precisely calibrated for sugar-wash fermentations targeting 18 to 20% ABV. Within this window, the nutrient ratio is tuned to balance nitrogen availability, osmotic stress, and yeast health. Fermenting a wash to 20% ABV demands precision, not brute force. At this level, osmotic pressure, ethanol toxicity, and nutrient exhaustion push yeast to their limits. Conventional “turbo” nutrients rely on aggressive nitrogen overloads that drive speed at the cost of flavor, producing the unmistakable turbo funk familiar to high-gravity brewers. Slayer 800 was engineered to defeat that enabling rapid, stable, and neutral fermentations that finish strong, clean, and predictable.
Every component in Slayer 800 serves a biochemical purpose. Its dual-phase nitrogen system combines rapid inorganic nitrogen for early growth with a measured organic fraction that sustains amino-acid synthesis deep into fermentation. This balanced loadout prevents nutrient collapse while minimizing fusel and sulfur formation.
A mineral-based buffering system moderates acidification and preserves yeast metabolic efficiency. Supported by bioavailable zinc, magnesium, and an optimized vitamin complex, Slayer 800 reinforces cell-wall integrity and alcohol-dehydrogenase activity, the critical pathways that allow yeast to survive and thrive at extreme gravities. The result is a wash that ferments completely and cleanly, without the off-flavors or volatility typical of over-stimulated turbo washes.
The purity of a Slayer 800 fermentation produces a remarkably neutral alcohol base suitable for diverse applications. It can serve directly as a 20% cocktail base for spirit-free cocktails or be diluted into a lower-strength seltzer base without introducing residual yeast or flavor carryover. The result is a clean, versatile foundation for both commercial and craft beverage creation.
Compatible with a wide range of distiller’s and specialty yeast strains, Slayer 800 delivers complete, stable fermentations from small-batch runs to large-scale production. Its balanced nutrient profile supports consistent attenuation and clean finishes across yeast types, eliminating the variability that plagues generic turbo formulas.
High-gravity specialization – Tuned for 18–20% sugar-wash fermentations.
Neutral, clean profile – Suppresses fusel, sulfur, and solvent-like off-compounds.
Balanced nitrogen system – Dual-phase nitrogen supports long-duration metabolism.
Buffered mineral stability – Protects yeast metabolism through ethanol stress.
Micronutrient reinforcement – Zinc, magnesium, and vitamins enhance alcohol tolerance.
Versatile end use – Produces a 20% cocktail base or a clean, lower-potency seltzer base.
Broad strain compatibility – Performs with both distiller’s and specialty yeast strains.
Science-driven formulation – Developed through extensive high-gravity trials for maximum speed and purity.
Available in convenient batch sizes (25 g for 2 gallons; 63 g for 5 gallons) as well as 1-lb and 5-lb bulk options. For large batches, the recommended dosage rate is 12.5 g per gallon or 13.7 oz per bbl.

How to Brew with HyperBoost?
HyperBoost® is designed to easily pour in your fermenter as a dry hop addition, adding an intense saturation of hop flavor to your finished beer. Most brewers choose to use HyperBoost during active fermentation, but it can also be added to the whirlpool. Using HyperBoost in place of traditional pellets can increase finished beer yield.
Kettle: HyperBoost is not intended for kettle additions. For early kettle and bittering additions, we recommend pellets or CO2 extract. DynaBoost® carries variety-specific oil and alpha acid content to the kettle and can be used as a late kettle addition.
Post-Boil / Whirlpool: For whirlpool use, brewers can replace up to 100% of pellets with HyperBoost. We suggest replacing T-90 pellet additions in the whirlpool at a rate of 50:1 by weight (20 g of HyperBoost to replace 1 kg T-90). Your brewery might choose to use more or less depending on beer style or overall goal.
Fermentation: HyperBoost can be used as an active or post-fermentation hop addition. Incorporate HyperBoost anywhere in the process you would typically use pellets.
Dry Hopping: For dry hop additions, YCH recommends using HyperBoost for 25-50% of the addition and adding T-90 or Cryo® pellets for the remainder of the hop charge. As a dry hop, we suggest starting with a replacement rate of 100:1 HyperBoost to T-90 pellets by weight (10 g HyperBoost in place of 1 kg T-90) to 125:1 (8 g HyperBoost in place of 1 kg T-90).

Pure-Lees Elegancy – Lallemand Yeast Derivative for Polished Red Wine Structure
Softens aggressive, bitter, or green tannins while preserving structure
Builds midpalate weight and extends finish without masking fruit
Delivers fast sensory results, often within 48 hours
Enhances colloidal stability to support clarity and filterability
Similar to Pure-Lees Delicacy, but more effective with higher-tannin wines due to greater insoluble content
Pure-Lees Elegancy is a targeted inactivated yeast product designed to bring refinement and balance to structured red wines. Like Pure-Lees Delicacy, it is produced using Lallemand’s High Pressure Homogenization (HPH) process, which maximizes the availability of active yeast components. However, Elegancy contains a greater proportion of insoluble yeast fragments, making it particularly effective for high-tannin varieties where a more assertive softening action is needed. It reduces bitterness and rough textures while enhancing wine length, roundness, and polish—all without impacting fruit expression or color. Winemakers looking to replicate the effects of long-term lees aging in a shorter timeframe will find Pure-Lees Elegancy especially valuable during post-fermentation refinement.
Protocol
Suspend Pure-Lees Elegancy in ten times its weight of clean wine or water at 15–25 °C. Stir gently until fully dispersed. Add at the end of alcoholic fermentation or early in storage. Mix thoroughly to ensure uniform distribution. Allow at least 2 days of contact; for greater effect, maintain contact for up to several weeks before racking.
Usage Rates
Recommended dosage: 20–40 grams per hectoliter
= 0.2–0.4 grams per liter
= 0.76–1.5 grams per gallon
A typical rate of 30 g/hL (0.3 g/L or 1.14 g/gal) provides noticeable softening and mouthfeel enhancement in medium to full-bodied reds.

Outperforms traditional inactivated yeasts with a more targeted composition and higher GSH yield
GlutaStar is a next-generation specific yeast derivative developed by Lallemand using a proprietary process that yields exceptionally high levels of naturally reduced glutathione. Designed for use in white and rosé wines, especially those with delicate thiol-driven profiles, GlutaStar helps lock in freshness and prevent oxidative damage during maturation, bottling, and shelf life. In addition to preserving bright aromas like grapefruit, passionfruit, and lemon zest, it contributes to a rounder mouthfeel without adding astringency. Compared to conventional inactivated yeasts, GlutaStar delivers superior antioxidant protection and stability, particularly when used early in the winemaking process.
Usage Rates
