Barrel Fermentations: Effective in completing fermentations in barrels where conditions may be less controlled.
Flavor Profile:
Neutral Sensory Impact: Preserves the wine's natural varietal characteristics without introducing off-flavors.
Clean Finish: Ensures a crisp, balanced finish, integrating seamlessly with the existing wine structure.
Usage:
Rehydration: Rehydrate in 10 times its weight of chlorine-free water at 104°F (40°C) for 15–20 minutes. Stir gently to prevent clumping.
Acclimatization: Mix rehydrated yeast with 10% of the stuck wine for 20–30 minutes to allow adaptation.
Pitch Rate: Use 1–1.5 grams per gallon (0.25–0.4 grams per liter) for effective restart.
Nutrient Addition: Supplement with yeast nutrients to optimize yeast health during recovery.
Fermentation Temperature: Maintain between 64°F and 86°F (18°C–30°C) for optimal performance and restart reliability.
Monitoring: Regularly check Brix and temperature to ensure progress and prevent re-stalling.

VL3 is a Bordeaux isolate that was selected following in-depth research identifying the molecules responsible for Sauvignon Blanc aroma. VL3 was found to enhance Sauvignon Blanc varietal characters and aromas (Mercaptopentanone, Mercaptohexanol, etc.) Subsequent experimentation has found this to be true of other white varietals such as Riesling, Pinot Gris, and Pinot Blanc as well. VL3 is well suited to aging on the lees and produces very low levels of VA and SO2. A premier yeast for Sauvignon Blanc fermentation worldwide. It is important to note that many of the sought after compounds that are enhanced by VL3 are actually sulfur based, so the use of oxygen and or Cu (copper) will effectively diminish or even remove them from the final wine if used in excess. Therefore, the use of nutrients is strongly recommended to avoid any H2S problems that would require oxygen or Cu to counteract. Best results from 60 to 68 degrees F, with an alcohol tolerance to 14%. Download the PDF Download the PDF
Precise hydrometer for measuring the sugar content and progress of fermentation in wine ferments. Comes with a thermometer/correction scale built-in. Please Note: Due to the large size of this hydrometer, it does not work with our standard 11" or 14" hydrometer jars. We recommend using our 500mL Graduated Cylinder (MT636D) with this hydrometer.
Our preferred method to cool, and invented by MoreBeer! customer Jamil Zainasheff. How it works: Wort travels from the kettle to a pump and back into the kettle via a short copper arm that aims the hot wort into the wall of cooling coils. This creates a flow of hot wort across the coils of your wort chiller and throughout your kettle. The movement of wort creates a fast heat exchange, and uses far less water than a traditional wort chiller.
Recirculating the wort in the same vessel allows you to continue chilling until your wort gets to the proper pitching temperature before transferring to your fermenter. Add a thermometer into your boil kettle to get consistent results every time! Start recirculation before the end of the boil so everything the wort moves through will be sanitized. Most of the chilling happens on the outside of the coil allowing for a much simpler cleanup. Comes with instructions, 2 zip ties, one hose clamp and copper re-circulation tube 1/2". This system does require the use of a pump, like our H315HF High-Temp pump.
A wort chiller will need to be purchased separately. This option works on our WC30, WC45, WC50, and WC55 only.

Nothing looks quite as nice as beer pouring out of a shiny stainless steel draft tower. These are the same tower kits included with every KOMOS Kegerator, featuring Intertap stainless steel faucets, EVABarrier draft tubing, and Duotight push-to-connect fittings for easy assembly. The tower is made from 304 brushed stainless steel, making them corrosion resistant while also looking great!
Stainless Intertap Faucets and Towers
These kits come with Intertap faucets mounted on a brushed stainless tower. Intertap faucets are the newest, most advanced, forward sealing, beer faucets on the market today and will work perfectly for years. Forward-sealing means that while in the closed position the faucet will keep beer inside the body instead of draining out. This keeps the internal parts from getting sticky and reduces the chance of off flavors transferring to your beer while you pour. Intertap faucets feature a modular, threaded spout that can fit a variety of attachments including a growler filler or stout spout.
Duotight Fittings & EVABarrier Draft Tubing
Duotight and EVABarrier have revolutionized how you connect draft line, and our tower kits come standard with both. We love Duotight push-in fittings for their quick connection, reliable seal, and versatility. Setting up and connecting draft line has never been easier -- no more hose clamps or heating water to soften tubing! Each tower comes with Duotight fittings for the tower shanks and for splitting gas lines (double & triple tap only). We recommend adding Duotight fittings to use for your keg connections as well. Depending on whether you'll be serving from homebrew kegs or commercial sanke kegs, you'll need two DUO106 or two DUO104 per line.
EVABarrier tubing has been engineered with protection in mind and is both PVC-free and BPA-free. This double walled tubing offers superior protection against oxidation, CO2 loss, and microbial growth. EVA tubing is the future of draft line for professional applications, and now your kegerator will feature the same first-class tubing.

Made from winery quality Hungarian/Slavonian Oak
These Balazs Oak dominoes feature Medium Plus level toast. Recommended for use during short term aging for 4-5 months. As a starting point use 1 oz per gallon. Taste after four months and add more if needed.
Balazs segments are made from Slavonian oak. Slavonian oak is grown in the area of Croatia that borders Hungary. While the area of Slavonia has changed hands many times, being under Hungarian control in the past, what has always remained constant is the quality of the oak grown in the region. Slavonian oak is beloved in Italy where it is widely used in the traditional and classic Italian wines of the Veneto, Tuscany and Piedmont. It is known for having the utmost respect for the fruit which is why Italian producers extensively use this oak. This makes this oak extremely useful for home winemakers who, because of the small quantities being made, need to pay special attention to not over oaking their wine.

Take your beer on the go with the help of this handy growler filler attachment for Perlick 630SS and 650SS faucets. Filling growlers straight from the tap is tough task, and you're more than likely to lose most of the beer's carbonation in the process. By running a short line of 3/8" tubing from the growler filler to the bottom of your growler, the beer can flow gently into the vessel and fill from the bottom up. Be sure to use the flow control knob to slow down the flow rate. If you're using the standard faucet, you may want to turn down the PSI on your regulator before filling.
Add the perfect amount of restriction to any beer line to reduce foam. Eliminates the need for flow control in the faucet itself. Great for use in Jockey Boxes or anywhere you are serving beverages with varying levels of carbonation.
If you are currently using a long length of tubing to increase restriction you can now shorten your tubing. A shorter line holds less beer. Beer that is stored in the line tends to warm up quicker, adding to foaming issues, and is more likely to stale from bacteria present in the line.
Features:
Adjust flow with an included Allen wrench (keeps unauthorized people from adjusting the unit)
Eliminate foam from beer or slow down / speed up other beverages
Fix systems with issues without having to replace lines or faucets
Take the guesswork out of line restriction. You can use shorter lines and still have perfect restriction. You can also use larger ID lines and adjust as necessary.
Easy to disassemble for cleaning, clear body for easy monitoring
Made in Germany by CM Becker from Food grade plastic and stainless steel parts!
Comes Equipped with 2 x 3/16" Barbs
Easy to install to any existing beer line (cut line and install two clamps)
Protect your regulator from damage in the event your tank gets knocked over. A Gauge Cage is cheap insurance that can help save you a costly regulator replacement.
Mounting bolt and washer included.
CO2 and Nitrogen tanks, especially the 5lb size most brewers use, are notoriously wobbly and easy to knock over once the regulator is mounted on them. This handy Gauge Cage helps protect the gauges themselves, as well as the fragile points where they thread into the regulator body, from damage in case of a fall.
Specifically sized to fit our D1060 and D1070 Taprite brand ragulators, these cages may not fit some budget regulators manufactured overseas.

This streamlined process not only saves you valuable time but also simplifies brewing without sacrificing flavor. Say hello to a faster, easier way to craft exceptional beer at home.
Typically, brewing requires you to boil your malt and hops for one hour, followed by another hour for cooling. Flash Brewing® eliminates the need to boil. Our Flash Brewing® malt recipes have been boiled and whirlpooled before they are dried. We then use a HopBite™ shot for bitterness combined with a mix of traditional hop pellets for flavor. Flash Yeast™ starts quickly and consistently produces clean beer that lets the malt and hops shine. The result is a high-quality beer that will absolutely surprise you.
If you want to read more about the development of Flash Brewing® at MoreBeer! or have more questions please read our Frequently Asked Questions.

Convert 1" BSP fittings to 1.5" tri-clamp. Made from 304 stainless steel.
BSP vs. BSPP
BSP (or BSPT) fittings have a tapered thread and require teflon tape to form a seal between the male and female fitting. BSP fittings are generally intended to be used with their counterpart of the same thread type. ONLY 1/2" BSP fittings are compatible with US-standard NPT fittings of the same size. BSPP fittings, on the other hand, have a straight thread, require a gasket seated inside the female fitting to form a seal, and are not compatible with NPT.

The LinkTech 60PS Series is a lineup of premium plastic Quick Disconnects. These High Quality QDs are made from medical grade polypropylene, a high-strength plastic that is temperature tolerant 160° (Max!), and can handle pressure ranging from a vacuum to 60 psi. All of the 60PS Series will interconnect, and these units will also work seamlessly (and leaklessly!) with CPC Quick Disconnects of the same internal 3/8” flow path. O-rings are a EPDM Rubber, and internal valve springs are constructed from 316 Stainless steel.
This is a Female Socket, which can connect to any H501 Series Male Plug. It has a 3/8" Hose Barb on the other end for attaching any 3/8" ID tubing. This QD is equipped with a shutoff valve. When not connected to another QD, this will not allow any flow.
While not quite as bulletproof as our Stainless Steel Quick Disconnects, this lineup does offer a few advantages. These can be set up with Shutoffs, which will prevent flow when disconnected, and can be incredibly useful on Pump or Glycol systems. The pricing of these products is more economical, yet the plastic is still medical grade. All in all, these are a premium lineup of quick disconnects with great features and lots of options.

Originating in the Burgundy region of France, in such famous appellations as Montrachet, Meursault, Poilly-Fuisse and Chablis, Chardonnay is now the most popular white wine style in the world. Chardonnay thrives in a wide range of soils and weather climates from France to Australia. Winemakers love Chardonnay because it produces such a wide range of complex, flavorful wines. From fruit forward and crisp, to lean and minerally, to hedonistic, rich, and oaky, no wine sparks as much stylistic debate as Chardonnay. Chardonnay is the most popular white grape in Australia and third most popular grape overall. Its ability to grow well in both warmer and cooler climates allow Australian Chardonnay to offer a wide range of regional expressions. The cooler climate of Yarra Valley or the Limestone Coast produce reserved, clean white wines while the warmer climate of Barossa Valley or McClaren Vale boast riper fruit that results in more rich, tropical fruit-forward wines. As with many New World examples of Chardonnay, the wine from Australia is generally characterized as being more ripe, round, and fruit forward than those you might find from France. Our Australia Chardonnay is fruit forward and features flavors of tropical fruit, ripe peach, and toasted vanilla. With an alcohol level of 13% this is a Chardonnay with a dry finish and a medium body. Fermented with medium toast oak chips. Medium toast oak is the perfect choice to impart body and mouthfeel along with a hint of oakiness. Easy to drink and appreciated by nearly every wine lover. The VineCo Estate Chardonnay is the perfect everyday wine to unwind with after work. There is something calming about a glass of this shimmering gold liquid resting on your kitchen counter while you make dinner. Or pull a cork at the next weekend BBQ and share with friends. It’s always time for Chardonnay. Makes 5 gallons of finished beer
We recently had a simple, yet exciting idea: What if we brewed the same recipe, used the same yeast, but changed one thing - the flavor, aroma, and dry hop additions using one hop varietal. That way we could take two beers that are close to identical and pick out the differences in just the hop flavors and aromas! And thus, the Single Hop Experiment was born. This recipe is based off of a simple Pale Ale: 2-Row, Crystal 15L, Magnum bittering hops, and then a single other hop for the rest of the additions. The malt in this recipe is basic and fairly neutral, the bittering clean and consistent, but the flavor and aroma from the late hop additions will vary; sometimes dramatically! Ever wanted to know what your favorite hop really is? Brew a few of these different Single Hop Experiment recipes to find out!
