This recipe kit makes a light, refreshing mead. Hydromel literally means "Honey Water" in Greek. The term "hydromel" is a way of describing the low strength of alcohol in this mead kit. This kit is a very basic introduction to mead. Estimated alcohol is 5-7%. A perfect choice to carbonate in the bottle or kegs. Dry Yeast Recommendation: DV10: Strong and clean, stays true to original honey's flavours and aromas. QA23: Aromatic / Floral, great bouquet (a bit more lean and focused than R2) W15: Great aromatic profile (true to the honey source) and heavy mouthfeel. Includes our simple, step-by-step two page instructions, which will teach you the basics of making mead. This kit does not include yeast. Please see our recommendations above.
cottzyme KS – High-Power Enzyme for Complex Pectin Breakdown in Red, White, and Problem Wines
Breaks down complex, highly esterified pectins that standard pectinases cannot
Enhances clarification, settling, and filterability in challenging juices and wines
Boosts juice and wine yield by improving extraction from thick-skinned or high-pectin fruit
Ideal for problem fermentations or hazy wines that resist fining and filtration
Performs well at low temperatures and in a broad pH range
Scottzyme KS is a specialized pectolytic enzyme designed to break down complex pectin structures found in high-pectin varietals and difficult ferments. While standard enzymes like PEC5L target simple soluble pectins, KS is formulated with enhanced side-chain cleaving activity that attacks esterified pectins and heavily branched structures. This makes it particularly effective on cultivars like Pinot Gris, Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Muscat, and in juice or wine where haze persists despite prior enzymatic treatment. KS improves clarification, tightens lees, increases press and wine yields, and boosts filtration efficiency—especially in wines that defy typical settling protocols.
Comparison to Scottzyme PEC5L:
Scottzyme PEC5L is a fast-acting general-purpose pectinase for typical clarification tasks, such as settling and flotation of white and rosé juices. It’s ideal for clean juice production from standard grapes and most fruit wines. In contrast, KS is the go-to choice when PEC5L isn’t enough—it’s stronger on stubborn, esterified pectins and delivers better results with problematic varieties or ferments that remain hazy even after PEC5L. While PEC5L is excellent for fast juice prep, KS excels in the most difficult cases, including post-fermentation haze and challenging press fractions.
Protocol
Dilute Scottzyme KS in 10 times its volume of chlorine-free water or juice. Add to must, juice, or wine and mix well. Suitable for use before or after fermentation. Do not add simultaneously with bentonite or high SO₂. Works effectively at 10–20°C.
Usage Rates
Recommended dosage: 1.5–4.0 mL per 1000 lb of fruit or 0.075–0.2 mL per gallon
= approximately 0.02–0.05 mL per liter
Use lower rates for moderate haze and extended contact time. Use higher rates in cold settling, high-pectin juices, or persistent post-fermentation hazes. Allow 4–24 hours of contact time depending on application.
Connect two ball lock homebrewing kegs together via their ball lock our fittings. Handing for moving sanitizer or beer from one keg to the next. We often use this fitting when we have a big party where we dixie chain kegs together. For example if you made 10 gallons of pale ale you can use this jumper to connect the two kegs so that all 10 gallons can pour at once.
Recirculate wort in your boil kettle without sacrificing one of your tri-clamp ports. The BrewBuilt Whirlpool Return Fitting & Thermowell Offset kit allows you to use any tri-clamp kettle's thermometer port to recirculate wort while also taking temp readings. This kit is perfect for kettles that only have two tri-clamp ports—eliminating the need to drill out a hole in your kettle to add a third port for wort recirculation. Attach your preferred valve or tri-clamp fitting to the side inlet and, during whirlpool, draw wort from your bottom port and pump it back through the Whirlpool Return Fitting.

Cryo Hop® Hop Pellets
Higher AA and nearly twice the resin content of traditional T-90 hop pellets
Increase yield by reducing vegetal matter in your brewhouse and fermenter
Cryo Hops® provide brewers with the ability to get gigantic hop character while reducing astringent and unpleasant vegetal flavors. With a substantially higher oil and resin content, LupuLN2 powder offers up all the flavor and aroma of a heavily hopped beer, but with a significanly reduced grassy character. Additionally, the lower dosage rate of the concentrated powder reduces the volume of trub and therefore, kettle loss. Using Cryo Hops® you will net more beer that is clearer!
Typical usage of Cryo Hops® would be roughly 50% of pellets. LupuLN2 powder can be used in any application where traditional hop products are utilized, including: Bittering, Kettle, Whirlpool and even direct to the fermentor. It is suggested that you use Cryo Hops® as late additions, in the whirlpool or dry hop, as the volatile aromatic compounds will be driven off if added early in the boil.
Cryo Hops® are an innovative hop product that is made by separating the lupulin from the hop flower using cryogenic processing. The result is a product with twice the potency of T90 pellets, with reduced astringency and vegetative material.
Note: These hops come pelletized. The powder is compressed into pellet form to make handling easier.
Typical Hop Statistics:
Alpha Acids: 18.0 – 22.0%
Beta Acids: 7.0 – 11.0%
Total Oil: 2.0 – 4.0%

Californian Merlot is a welcome pour whether it's at the dinner table or the picnic table Pair with a basket full of charcuterie fare or burgers hot off the grill Flavors of fruit, baking spices, floral, and chocolate Full-bodied and dry, 14% ABV Whip up a batch in 30 mins or less! Yields 6 gallons (2 cases) of finished wine in 6-8 weeks Premium kit includes grape skins for an authentic wine making experience Bottle labels included for a professional finish Merlot is extraordinary in its flexibility, able to be paired with many different grapes to create magnificent blends, but easily stands on its own in varietal wines. Sometimes mistaken for Cabernet Sauvignon in blind tastings, the two grapes are both descendents of Cabernet Franc and can display similar flavors and textures, although Merlot is known for being softer and less tannic. Aromas and flavors include blackberry, cassis, baked cherries, dark chocolate and mocha, among others. Merlot ranks as the second most-widely grown grape in the world, but reigns supreme in the Médoc district of Bordeaux. California-grown Merlot grapes produce what is known as “Warm-Climate Merlot”, which is the category that Merlot grown in Australia and Argentina also fall under. These grapes tend to be heavier on the fruit notes and lighter in body. Due to the lower tannin levels and softer finish, some vitners employ a longer oak-aging process to give the wine more structure. Our California Merlot is a full-bodied red with big fruit flavors with hints of rich baking spices and purple floral notes. On the higher end in regards to alcohol content at 14%, this wine has a dry chocolate finish with a moderate oak character. The Signature Series™ Merlot is one of the most satisfying kits to make thanks to the inclusion of grape skins. You’ll mirror the professional vintner process of “punching the cap”, which makes your winemaking adventure even more hands on. VineCo’s jammy skin packs are much more expressive than dried grape skins, imparting more character from the grapes and boosting tannin structure in the finished wine. High quality American oak cubes are used in the final aging process of the California Merlot kit. One of the reasons oak has always been used to age wine is the slow release of delicious, complex compounds that complement the wines flavor. Oak cubes have more depth of flavor than chips or powder and slowly release compounds like furfural (sweet, caramel like), lignins (vanillin, spice, smoke), and lactones (classic oak flavor). American oak in particular is known to deliver aromatic sweetness, vanillin, and classic oak flavor. The VineCo Signature Merlot is not to be sequestered to the dinner table. This is a wine you want to pack up and take with you on a picnic. Enjoy with the sun overhead, a light breeze at your back, and a charcuterie board within arm’s reach. At supper time, you may find Merlot to be the perfect compliment to grilled beef burgers or a freshly chopped Caesar salad. The Sspunding Valve from Ss Brewtech allows you dial in the precise pressure at which you want your Unitank fermenting. A spunding valve is essentially an adjustable pressure relief valve. Normal PRVs that are found on kegs, couplers and come stock on Ss Unitanks, operate as safety features that will release pressure when it's nearing dangerous levels. Spunding valves, on the other hand, allow you to set the release pressure much lower. Simply dial in your desired fermentation pressure, and the Sspunding valve will release excess pressure when it gets too high. The compact, non-scaled Sspunding valve will take a little extra time to set, but can be done easily enough using the gauge included on the Ss Unitank. Check out FE892Bfor the scaled version. The polycarbonate cup is designed to hold sanitizer so that the tank remains 100% sanitary throughout the course of the fermentation process. You can pair the spunding valve with a 1.5" tri-clamp tee (H666) and 90-degree elbow (H667), which enables the unit to be installed on the Unitank’s blow off arm, as shown in the photo. (Scaled version shown in example photo - FE892B). All 304 Stainless Construction Only for use with pressure rated Unitanks 1.5" TC interface Removable sanitizer cup Easy disassembly for cleaning Not for use on low pressure vessels (Chronicals, etc.) For Your Safety: Always leave the fixed-pressure PRV included with the Unitank in place. Never exceed the maximum rated working pressure of the vessel at any time during operation.
Our Ball Valves will last for years. Easy to clean. High grade 304-stainless made to last. 3/4" FPT on input and output side.
TIP: You can take a ball valve apart using two crescent wrenches. This will allow you to open up the valve to get to the ball and two gaskets that form the seal when closed.

The most affordable all-in-one automated all-grain brewing system!
Mash grains and boil wort in a single vessel
External pump kit for recirculating mash will improve efficiency, consistency, and clarity
DigiBoil electric kettle automatically maintains mash temperatures with the digital controller
Dual heating elements combine for 2400W of power
The DigiMash system represents the best value in electric all-grain brewing you'll find. With a 9-gallon DigiBoil electric kettle and the DigiMash stainless steel mashing accessory pack included, this is by far the most affordable way to get into electric all-grain brewing. It may not have all the bells and whistles of the BrewZilla, but it does have everything you need to mash and boil all in one unit.
With the Recirculation Pump Kit, you can recirculate sweet wort during the mash to improve starch conversion, maintain a consistent temperature throughout the mash, and improve the clarity. The pump can also be used to move water around your brewery if you use a secondary vessel to hold sparge water, or to transfer the wort from your kettle to your fermenter. With the optional Whirlpool Arm, you can also swap out the Recirculation Arm and use your pump kit to whirlpool after the boil.
If you're deciding between the DigiMash and the BrewZilla, there are a couple of key differences worth noting. One of our favorite features of the BrewZilla is the programmable mash steps and delayed start, which the DigiMash does not have. You can still step mash by simply raising the temperature manually on the controller, but the automatic steps are a convenient feature if you want to set it and forget it.
One advantage that this setup has over the BrewZilla is that the pump is external. This makes cleaning and fixing pump issues much easier, as you can quickly take apart the pump head to clean and clear out residual gunk at the end of each brew day.
This model comes with the 35L DigiBoil, which has two built-in heating elements that run off a 220V plug. One element is 1900w and the other is 500w for a combined 2400 watts! The elements can be individually controlled, allowing you to use a single element to gently hold temperatures, or engage both elements to quickly go from mash temp to boiling. Temperatures are set and automatically maintained through the digital control panel. Simply set your desired temperature and flip on the heating element(s).

You've never had this beer before, and, until very recently, neither had we. Imagine: a sexy, red color, spicy flavor, velvety-smooth body, terrific head, plus an aroma you could eat, all wrapped up with a firm bitterness. How did we do it? The creative shotgun approach! Continually throw enough stuff into the mix and, eventually, you score a win like this one. We started with a basic recipe similar to our famous Irish Red, but added Rye as well. A brash move? You bet! But we didn't stop there. We've added Magnum and Columbus hops everywhere, including into the carboy for dry hopping. If you want to go for a Home Run, add 1oz of the included French Oak chips after the first week of fermentation.

If you're tired of losing gas every time you connect or disconnect your Sodastream cylinder to your normal Sodastream cylinder adapter, this new design is what you need. Unlike cheaper Sodastream cylinder adapters, this unit has the added advantage that you can use the side thumb screw to depress the pin in the middle of the adapter. This pin adjustment makes the Sodastream cylinder adapter significantly easier to use.
Some adapters require an Alan Key wrench to adjust the pin height, and depending on how worn out your seal is, you may need to adjust this pin periodically. Conventional, cheaper Sodastream adapters also tend to leak gas every time you connect and disconnect them from your regulator or the adapter itself.
If you have a Sodastream Cylinder, you can use this adapter to connect it to a CGA320 CO2 Regulator. This is a great choice for mobile draft applications when you don't want to carry around your home draft system's 5 lb or larger CO2 tank.
CGA320 Male Thread x TR21-4 Female Thread
NOTE: Does not include CO2 regulator or Sodastream Cylinder seen in the example photos.

1/4" flared inline check valve can be used with any flare threaded ball lock or pin lock quick disconnect Allows gas to flow out, but won't allow backflow of liquid into your gas system Ideal safety measure if you force carbonate your beer using the bev out dip tube Built-in flare washer—no need for a separate nylon washer that is required with stainless steel QDs (male flare threaded side only) CMBecker is an international manufacturer of beverage dispensing solutions for both home and professional draft equipment Add this inline check valve to any flared gas-in disconnect and protect your draft system! The check valve allows gas to flow out, but won't allow backflow of liquid into your gas system. Many manifolds and regulators already feature check valves, but this disconnect will keep liquid from ever entering your gas lines in the first place. Especially handy if you force carbonate your beer using the bev out dip tube! Why we love it: Because we've had beer shoot back into our gas line and that sucks. At some point you will have a keg that is pressurized more than the pressure in your gas system. This could be caused by different carbonation levels, a keg sitting at room temperature, etc. So for example if the pressure in your keg is at 20 psi and your regulator is set at 12 psi, when you connect your gas in quick-disconnect liquid shoots from the keg into the gas line. Eliminate that possibility with this ingenious fitting. If you're looking for a ball lock disconnect with a built-in check valve, we highly recommend KEG729. However, the beauty of this inline check valve is that it can be used with any flared disconnect, including pin locks. If you don't want to part with your high-quality stainless steel disconnects, this inline check valve is for you!

Autolyzing, quick release of polysaccarides such as mannoproteins Top choice for sur lie aging Ability to ferment cold for clean flavor with emphasis on mouthfeel and toastiness of sur lie aging When fermented warmer exoctic tropical flavors shine Frequently used to make luscious Chardonnays and similar white wines Luscious Chardonnays with creamy mouthfeel and deep complexity... if that is your end point, LUSCIOUS is your starting point. LUSCIOUS can be fermented at different temps depending on your style preference. Ferment it cooler, it can handle it, and put the emphasis on the creaminess and the toasted champagne-like complexity of sur lie ageing. Or crank it up a bit warmer and add in some more tropical notes, your choice. However the magic of LUSCIOUS really happens after fermentation when this yeast goes naturally goes nuclear, implodes and breaks open its cell walls, during a process called autolysis. Polysaccharides such as mannoproteins are released into the wine... and man, it's all about those mannoproteins creating that rich, creamy mouthfeel that so many Chardonnay drinkers seek out. The silky richness is emphasized even futher by sur lie aging, aging on clean lees for a period of time, in either tank or barrel. Being a low producer of SO2 it is naturally great candiate for later malo-lactic fermentations. Now that we have painted a picture try putting this marketing wizardry on your next label "The 10-40w viscosity of this wine is due to it being loaded with mannoproteins from the guts of exploded yeast cells". Maybe leave us out of the wine marketing department but we do know a winning yeast when we taste it. #1 for this style of Chardonnay but also a top choice for Viognier and other whites. Optimal Fermentation Temp: 55–68°F Start Time: Average Alcohol Tolerance: 14%+ Nitrogen Demand: Average YAN Requirement @ 23 Brix: 245 ppm Production of volatile acidity: Average Production of SO2: Low Cap/Foaming: Low Ease to Ferment with MLF: Good Lees Aging: Best Choice Proper yeast hydration helps ensure a healthy fermentation. For every gram of yeast, mix .25 g of FermStart yeast nutrient with 25 ml of sterilized tap water between 104–106°F/40–41°C. When water reaches 104°F/40°C, sprinkle yeast into water and stir gently. Allow the slurry to stand undisturbed for 15 minutes and then stir again. For every gram of yeast used add 25 ml of clean must to the yeast slurry and let stand 15–20 minutes. If necessary, use additional must to adjust yeast slurry to within 18°F of must temp before pitching. For a complete nutrient schedule sufficient for most fermentations, add 1.5 g of FermFed DAP Free per gallon of must at the first sign of fermentation and 1 g of FermFed per gallon of must after 1/3 sugar depletion. ForgeFit's rubber hose bumper is the ideal choice for brewery hose ends. Rather than being made from rigid plastic, the soft silicone is designed to absorb impact and help protect hose end fittings that are being continuously picked up and dropped to the floor. The bumper will also keep the hose ends raised off the floor to keep the fittings sanitized and avoid contamination. The two large handles allow you to pick up a hot hose without grabbing onto it directly.
2" ID will stretch over most 1.5" brewery hoses.
This kit is designed for owners of Chronical 2.0 Fermenters and includes everything you need to introduce CO2 pressure into your fermenter without removing the lid cap and risking O2 contamination. The Chronical BME's 3" Lid cap includes a PRV that prevents pressure from building to unsafe levels.
Due to the popularity of both open and closed transfers with Chronical 2.0 users, this kit does not include the output side to the keg, so please add a TC 1/2" barb, 3/8" barb or 1/4" MFL fitting and the appropriate tubing for the type of transfer you plan on doing.
Also works with legacy Chronical Brewmaster Edition
Setup:
Begin by locating the 1/2" tubing and attach one side to the 3" TC lid cap's blow off barb that was included with the Chronical 2.0. Then attach the other side of the 1/2" tubing to the 1.5" TC to 1/2" Barb fitting, using hose clamps to secure both connections. Then attach the 1.5" TC to 1/2" Barb fitting to the included 1.5" TC to 1/4" MFL fitting with a TC clamp and gasket. Lastly, the 1/4" MFL connection can interface with common gas line flare fittings used on CO2 regulators.
This kit only includes accessories to introduce pressure into your fermenter. It does not include accessories for beer output.
Kit Includes:
(1) 1.5" TC to 1/2" Barb
(1) 1.5" TC to 1/4" MFL

Kupzit® is an innovative copper citrate preparation developed for the elimination of sulfide off-flavors, particularly hydrogen sulfide odors in wine and fruit wine. Kupzit® contains 2 % copper citrate. For easy dosage and handling, it is coated onto a mineral carrier material, a particularly pure, high-quality granulated bentonite.
Kupzit® reacts within minutes with sulphur compounds such as hydrogen sulfide and mercaptans. These compounds bind with Kupzit and then settle out to the bottom.
Dosage and Application:
Trials are absolutely recommended. Generally, the dosage amount is 5-20 g/100 L or .05-.2 g/L. Exceptionally bad cases may require up to twice as much.
See the attached Manufacturer's instructions for further details along with information on dosage and storage.
Designed to fit 3 to 6.5-gallon glass carboys and 500ml flasks, making it ideal for a variety of storage needs.
Ribbed body and ridge prevent slipping or being sucked in, ensuring a reliable seal during long-term storage.
Despite its ribbed design, this silicone bung is easy to clean and sanitize for hassle-free use.
Solid Silicone bung that will fit a 3, 5, 6 or 6.5 gallon glass carboy or 500ml flask. A solid stopper is the most reliable way to keep oxygen out for long term storage.
This bung has a ridge to keep it from getting sucked in when temperatures cool. It also features a ribbed body it doesn't slip out during use. Even though it isn't perfectly smooth like some other stoppers, it remains easy to clean and sanitize. The top measures 1.5" wide and the bottom is 1.13" wide.
While the FE592 carboy stopper is a great, economical choice, you may also want to check out our premium, silicone carboy hood FE496 as well. Working as both a solid or a breathable bung (depending on how the plug is set), the FE496 is like getting two bungs in one!

NukaTap faucets offer reduced first pour foam due to low thermal mass
Forward-sealing design prevents beer residue from gumming up the faucet
Unique shuttle design greatly improves laminar flow, improving the pour of carbonated beverages
Compatible with all Intertap faucet accessories and shanks
Matte Black painted finish. See note below.
Nothing looks quite as nice as beer pouring out of a sleek, matte black draft tower. These are the same tower kits included with the KOMOS Kegerator, featuring NukaTap Stealth Bomber faucets, EVABarrier draft tubing, and Duotight push-to-connect fittings for easy assembly. The tower is made from 304 brushed stainless steel, making them corrosion resistant while also looking great!
NukaTap Stainless Faucets and Towers
These kits come with NukaTap Stealth Bomber faucets mounted on a stainless tower with matte black finish. NukaTap is the newest brand of forward sealing faucets that boast a lower thermal mass for reduced first pour foam. They feature a "nuke-shaped" internal shuttle that is made from TPV, which provides superior laminar flow to further reduce foaming issues. All faucet spout attachments and accessories are cross compatible between Intertap and NukaTap. Forward-sealing means that while in the closed position the faucet will keep beer in it instead of draining out. This keeps the internal parts from getting sticky and reduces the chance of off flavors transferring to your beer while you pour. The modular, threaded spout can fit a variety of attachments including a growler filler or stout spout.
Duotight Fittings & EVABarrier Draft Tubing
Duotight and EVABarrier have revolutionized how you connect draft line, and our tower kits come standard with both. We love Duotight push-in fittings for their quick connection, reliable seal, and versatility. Setting up and connecting draft line has never been easier -- no more hose clamps or heating water to soften tubing! Each tower comes with Duotight fittings for the tower shanks and for splitting gas lines (double & triple tap only). We recommend adding Duotight fittings to use for your keg connections as well. Depending on whether you'll be serving from homebrew kegs or commercial sanke kegs, you'll need two DUO106 or two DUO104 per line.
EVABarrier tubing has been engineered with protection in mind and is both PVC-free and BPA-free. This double walled tubing offers superior protection against oxidation, CO2 loss, and microbial growth. EVA tubing is the future of draft line for professional applications, and now your kegerator will feature the same first-class tubing.
Includes:
Stainless steel draft tower w/ Matte Black Finish
NukaTap Stealth Bomber faucet(s)
Stainless steel faucet shank(s) with Duotight tailpieces
EVABarrier gas and beverage tubing
Draft tower mounting screws
Faucet wrench
1-3 Tap Tower Dimensions:
13.4 in. tall (without faucets)
3 in. tower diameter
4.4 in. base diameter
4 Tap Tower Dimensions:
13.4 in. tall (without faucets)
4.5 in. tower diameter
Interior mounting holes (does not include bottom collar)
Please note: this is a painted faucet and as such needs to be used, cleaned, and handled with care. Clean the faucet gently by hand and avoid tossing it into a bucket with other draft parts. Excessive soaking in caustic cleaners will damage the finish. For these reasons, we do not recommend the Stealth Bomber faucets for professional settings. If you prefer a stainless steel spout that can take more punishment, the matte black towers are also sold separately and can be paired with the NukaTap Punisher Edition faucet.

Gen 4 BrewZilla All-in-One Brewing System
WiFi / Bluetooth enabled RAPT Controller tracks your brewday and automatically uploads detailed information to the RAPT portal
The top mounted RAPT Controller can be tilted upward for easy viewing, or detached from the unit to mount it on the wall or placed on your bench
Mirror polished dome shaped bottom with center drain — get every last bit of wort into your fermenter while the perforated bottom screen filters out 95% of hot break and hop matter
Make larger batches or higher gravity beers! BrewZilla offers the largest malt pipe capacity for units in its size range, and the Gen 4 unit has a 30% larger malt pipe compared to the previous generation
Perforated bottom on the newly designed malt pipe allows for improved mash recirculation flow without sacrificing efficiency
Element power percentage can be adjusted via the RAPT Controller. Go full power to heat up quickly, or dial it down so you don’t overshoot your strike water temp
The built-in pump is plumbed to both the recirculation and arm and the bottom ball valve. Recirculate wort during your mash, then close the recirculation valve and pump wort to your fermenter via the bottom valve
Pair with the RAPT-enabled Bluetooth Thermometer, allowing your BrewZilla to calculate a core mash temperature reading and more accurately control temperatures and mash steps
More RAPT-enabled accessories are coming, and future firmware updates can be downloaded to the RAPT Controller itself over the internet
WiFi/Bluetooth Enabled RAPT Controller
The RAPT Controller is mounted to the top of the boiler body, allowing for easy operation when you have the unit set on the ground. The controller can be tilted upwards to give you an even better view, or it can be removed from the BrewZilla entirely if you’d prefer to mount the controller on your wall or lay it down on a workbench. From the controller, you’ll orchestrate your entire brew day. Program mash steps, dial in element power, and operate the integrated pump all from one screen.
But the RAPT Controller is much more than a beautiful, full-color display switch board. Once synced to the RAPT Portal, you’ll be able to track, record and monitor your brews online. No need for handwriting notes or punching brew day details into your phone – all of the data from your brew is automatically logged to your portal profile. This information doesn’t just include your mash profile; it also captures detailed information about your element power and pump activity, opening the door for very precise repeatability.
And the RAPT Portal isn’t just a digital archive for your brew days. With your BrewZilla powered on, you can control your brewery from virtually anywhere using your phone’s web browser. Not sure when you’ll be home from work or your kid’s ball game going into extra innings? No problem! Before you head out, simply log into the RAPT Portal from your phone and tell the BrewZilla to start heating your strike water. Along with remote control, the portal enables you to program alarms and push notifications for all of your boil additions. We’ve all been caught up with a side task and failed to throw in that yeast nutrient or clarifying agent at the end of the boil, but the BrewZilla has the back of even the most forgetful brewer!
But wait, there’s more! In addition to WiFi connectivity, the RAPT Controller is also a Bluetooth gateway device. KegLand is currently developing various Bluetooth devices such as the Bluetooth Beacon Thermometer and other sensors which will be compatible with your brewery upon release. The RAPT Controller is able to receive information from Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices, adjusting its processes based on this new stream of information while simultaneously logging it to your RAPT Portal. With the Bluetooth Beacon Thermometer, for example, you’ll be able to feed temperature readings from the top of your mash bed to the controller. The controller will then compare this reading with the main temp probe reading at the base of the kettle and adjust element cycling based on these combined readings.
Finally, the RAPT Controller WiFi connectivity allows you to update the controller’s firmware with a single click. Take advantage of new features and accessories as soon as they become available by simply keeping your BrewZilla connected to your local WiFi network. And again, the WiFi is already built-in! No need to come back for an expensive add-on accessory down the road.
High Capacity Malt Pipe
With an approximately 23.5 lb capacity, the BrewZilla can mash nearly 50% more grain than similar sized models of the Anvil Foundry and Grainfather G30. If you want to fill your fermenter with more than a 5-gallon batch worth of wort, or brew the highest gravity beer recipes, the BrewZilla is the brewhouse for the job. And the included malt pipe is just the beginning. If you want to expand your brewery’s grain capacity even further, KegLand makes Boiler Extension Kits and Extended Malt Pipes for that very purpose. The malt pipe features a perforated section at the bottom which improves mash recirculation flow without sacrificing efficiency.
Concave Base with Center Draining
Leave no wort behind! The concave base with center drain means you’ll be able to extract every last drop of wort to your fermenter. If you’ve brewed in a traditional flat bottom kettle, this center drain may be a bit perplexing at first. Many brewers are used to whirlpooling after the boil to pull hop matter into the center of the kettle, then transfer out using a pick-up tube that pulls from the kettle wall in order to avoid sucking up the solids. But fear not! One of the key features of the BrewZilla is the false bottom protection screen. This screen avoids the need for doing a whirlpool, filtering wort as it transfers and blocking more than 95% of hops and hot break from getting sucked into the pump. This not only prevents blocked pump issues, it also increases the efficiency of your brewhouse by eliminating kettle loss from wort that may have otherwise been left behind.
Ultra Low Watt Density Elements
The concave base on the BrewZilla also allowed for larger heating elements with significantly lower watt density than other breweries. When a lot of energy is coming off of a small element, the local temperature near the element can be so high that it scorches the wort and causes caramelization. Lower watt density essentially means you can produce lighter color beers that would otherwise have fallen victim to caramelization effect. It also reduces that chance of boilovers and reduces stress on the elements which extends their life expectancy.
Easy Access Built-In Pump
The built-in pump allows you to recirculate your wort during the mash for improved efficiency and more even temperature distribution. But it can also be used to transfer your wort from kettle to fermenter rather than relying on a gravity feed, and with the optional CIP Rotar, you can used the pump to clean your BrewZilla (or fermenter) after every use. During your brew day you’ll be able to control the pump from the RAPT Controller with a dedicated button for turning the pump on and off. Another feature you’ll find on the controller is adjusting the pump flow. This doesn’t control the actual volume of the flow (you can do that from the ball valve located on the recirculation arm), but rather cycles the pump on and off automatically based on your setting. At 100%, the pump remains on continuously. But at 80%, the pump will cycle to be on 80% of the time and off 20% of the time. This may not be a feature that every brewer thinks they need, but it’s an excellent way to avoid running the pump dry accidentally, as the time the pump is off allows recirculating wort to filter through the grain bed and back into the pump inlet.
If you flip over the boiler, you’ll find the magnetic drive pump and all the plumbing is right at your fingertips. This means you don’t have to disassemble the base in order to access the pump for cleaning or maintenance if required. It also means the plumbing can be changed more easily too. For instance, the unit comes as standard with the plumbing from the pump feeding both the recirculation arm and the transfer valve, but you change this so the tap outlet bypasses the pump if you prefer.
MoreBeer!'s Final Word
We’ve been selling all-in-one brewing systems ever since they first hit the market, and we have to say that the Gen 4 BrewZilla is not only the most feature-packed unit ever made, it’s also offered at an incredibly competitive price point when compared to other systems. You’ll get all of the cutting edge Bluetooth technology you’d get with the Grainfather and at an exceptionally lower price tag. Plus, you get the WiFi capabilities as standard, rather than as a $100 add-on accessory. When it comes to mash recirculation, that’s yet another built-in feature on the BrewZilla, and the pump can also be used for transferring and CIP cleaning. The Foundry has a great starting price, but if you want to unlock its full potential, you’ll need to spend another $100 for the recirculation pump kit. What’s more, no other system in the same ‘weight class’ has the same grain capacity. And if the standard capacity isn’t quite enough, the BrewZilla can be easily upgraded with a Boiler Body Extension Kit and Extended Malt Pipe. When you purchase the BrewZilla, you can feel confident that you’re investing in a top shelf system and all of the critical features you’re expecting will be included.
Perfect for Distillation
If you want to expand your lineup of homemade libations to offer Spirits in addition to Ales & Lagers, the BrewZilla makes an excellent pot still! Add the Distillation Lid upgrade and pair it with an AlcoEngine Copper Reflux Condenser or Copper Pot Still Top. AlcoEngine Stills have been selling on the home market for years and offer some of the most affordable, beginner-friendly stills you'll find.

Please note: due to patent restrictions in the United States, the malt pipe has been redesigned with one set of bottom feet. This model does not include the "two stage" malt pipe as advertised by KegLand and featured in previous MoreBeer! YouTube videos.
Please Note: When removing the malt pipe to drain after mashing, it is important to do so slowly rather than in one swift pull. If the malt pipe is removed all at once when it is full of wort, it is possible for the draining wort to spray out and over the rim of the brewery through the perforated bottom. Remove the malt pipe slowly so that some of the wort can drain out before it is fully removed and set on its bottom feet. This can be done by hand on the 35L unit, but for the 65L and 100L units we highly recommend using the Pulley System for removing the malt pipe.
Warning: Do not engage the adjustable lid clamps when brewing with the BrewZilla's standard glass lid. The clamps are only intended to be used with distillation lids or other metal accessories. With too much tension, it is possible for the lid clamps to break the glass lid when engaged.
Warning: If you are going to use an extension cord with the BrewZilla, you must ensure that the cord is the correct gauge and properly rated to suit the power requirements of your brewery. See the reference chart below for the recommended gauge based on your unit and the length of cord you wish to use.

When not under pressure, do not expose to liquids above 131°F
When under pressure, do not expose to any temperatures above 95°F*
*Please note that the temperature rating for the FermZilla tank is lower when using it under pressure. When not under pressure, it is perfectly safe to transfer wort into the tank below 131°F or to use hot liquids below this temp for cleaning. When under pressure, make sure to keep your fermentation temperature below 95°F and keep the fermenter in an environment that is below 95°F ambient. This is especially important when fermenting with kveik yeast. These strains are known to ferment hot if no temperature control is being used. Exceeding the temperature rating may compromise the tank, leading to a shorter life span or sudden failure to maintain pressure. Even with proper use, we recommend replacing the tank every two years.
Please note: when using the FermZilla under pressure, you must perform a water pressure check to ensure your connections are leak proof. To do this, fill your FermZilla up with water, apply at least 15 psi pressure, and check for leaks around all caps and threads.
Pressure Stress
If you use the FermZilla to ferment under pressure, or you use CO2 to pressure transfer or force carbonate your finished beer, it is very important that you conduct semi-annual inspections of your tank. Even with perfect care, the FermZilla tank may show signs of wear from pressure stress over time. We recommend visually inspecting your tank for stress creases or other signs of wear once or twice a year. A hydro test should be conducted every two years, even if no signs of wear are found. The process is simple:
Fill the tank to the brim with water
Replace the Red PRV with a Green PRV rated to 4.5 BAR or higher
Pressurize the tank to 4 BAR (58 psi)
Check for leaks, then replace the Red PRV when finished
If leaks or potential points of failure are found, replace the tank before you continue using pressure with your FermZilla.
General Care
Taking good care of your FermZilla begins with cleaning and sanitizing the unit before and after use. The tank is made from food-grade PET, which is beautifully clear, but can be sensitive to long soaks in cleaners and acid-based sanitizers. In general, we do not recommend leaving products like PBW or StarSan soaking in the tank for more than an hour. Extended soaks have the potential to degrade the PET material and shorten the lifespan of the tank.

NOTE: FermZilla tanks are marked with a manufacturer’s “expiry date”. This does not indicate that the tank is bad after this date; it simply indicates that a hydro test may be in order. 2 years after production and every 2 years after first use, it is recommended that the tank be hydro tested to ensure the tank is holding pressure. You will also need the D1072 Green PRV to perform the test. If you do not plan to pressurize the fermenter, the test is not necessary.
