  • Deluxe Homebrewing Starter Kit - PLACEHOLDER Deluxe Homebrewing Starter Kit - PLACEHOLDER

    Deluxe Home Brewing Kit

    94 reviews

Absolutely EVERYTHING you need to start brewing! The complete home brewery kit! Includes everything you need to brew 5 gallons of delicious beer at home! High quality 5-gallon stainless steel kettle perfect for brewing Fermonster brand brewing fermenter is clear so you see fermentation activity and eliminates the need to siphon with built-in spigot Step-by-Step instruction pamphlet fine-tuned over 20 years for easy success Your choice of recipe kit included Make brewing fun and easy with our new Deluxe Homebrewing Starter Kit only from MoreBeer!. This beer brewing starter kit includes the nearly indestructible Fermonster fermenter, a five gallon stainless steel brewing kettle, an ingredient kit of your choice and all the time-tested equipment you need to brew up 5 gallons / 2 cases of beer per batch. With the Deluxe Homebrew Starter Kit, you can choose from several recipes including the American Ale Hoppy Pale Ale, Irish Red Ale, I Heart IPA, and German Hefeweizen. The Fermonster Fermenter - A Huge Upgrade Over Standard Buckets or Glass "Carboy" Water Bottles Unlike buckets or glass carboys, the Fermonster fermenter was designed for brewing beer. It is made from tough, clear, virgin grade PET plastic so you can see the magic of fermentation. Unlike glass it will never break and shatter if dropped. It represents a huge upgrade over traditional buckets because these fermenters are much less likely to get scratched. Scratches can hold bacteria that can cause off flavors in the beer.  The Fermonster comes with a built-in spigot that eliminates a long time issue in homebrewing of having to start a siphon to transfer your beer to the bottling bucket after fermentation is over. The large 4" lid allows for easily adding yeast, hops, or other additions. We also really love the molded-in level markers that tell you exactly when you have reached your desired volume.  Five Gallon Stainless Kettle - It's Bigger Than What You Have in Your Kitchen Over the years we found that many brewers thought they had a big enough kettle. They would go home only to return and buy our five gallon stainless steel brewing kettle. To make brewing easy, we've discounted our five gallon brewing kettle to be able to include it from the start! Plus, because it is made of food-grade stainless steel, you don’t have to worry about any off flavors imparted by your boil kettle. We Don't Skimp on Cleaning and Sanitizing Proper cleaning and sanitizing is one of the core tenants of making great beer. Some starter kits utilize an all-in-one cleaner/sanitizer that does neither job well.  We’ve included the best-selling sanitizer for brewing, Star San.  We also include Craftmeister oxygen-based cleaning tablets that make cleaning your Fermonster Fermenter a breeze. Other Upgrades That Make Brewing Easier We’ve also made a few items standard that really make the brew day easier including a thermometer for temperature monitoring and a hydrometer with testing jar for measuring sugar levels. Our reusable mesh bags allow for the easy removal of spent grain and hops at the end of the boil. The included stainless spoon is a really nice upgrade over plastic when you are stirring boiling liquids.   Easy, How-To Instructions & an Actual 800# We've taught hundreds of thousands of people how to brew in over 25 years. Our instructions are clear and simple to follow and will have you making great beer with batch number one. If you have any questions, call our on-staff brewmasters at 1-800-600-0033. In an age where 800-numbers and real customer service is going away, you can still call us and ask a question. Recipe Options: American Ale produces a light colored, hoppy Pale Ale that puts the beloved Cascade hop on full display. Cascade hops are one of the classic American hop varieties, and we love them for their citrus, grapefruit character. Irish Red Ale is a genre-defying brew that continues to be one of our best-selling kits year after year. You'll love the deep, red color and distinct caramel flavor. I Heart IPA was inspired by Bell's Two Hearted Ale, a universally adored IPA that features front-to-back hop additions of Centennial. Malt character takes a back seat to the pungent quality of citrus and lemon notes. German Hefeweizen has a lovely blond color and distinct hazy appearance in the glass. This kit uses 100% Bavarian Wheat malt extract with just a dash of Northern Brewer hops for bittering. This Kit Includes: 6 Gallon Fermonster fermenter with spigot, stopper and airlock 5 Gallon Stainless Steel Kettle Food-Grade Bottling Bucket with spigot Mesh Bags for steeping grain and hops on brew day Thermometer for easy temperature management Hydrometer for making key sugar readings Transfer Tubing Bottling Wand with shut off valve Sturdy Bottle Capper Bottle Caps Bottle Cleaning Brush Star San Sanitizer for true sanitization Large Stainless Steel Spoon for mixing Craftmeister Cleaning Tablets for easy cleaning Your choice of recipe kit with yeast included Everything You Need to Brew in One Box: This kit includes everything you need to start brewing amazing beer at home, all in one easy to wrap box. With our simple to follow step-by-step instructions and included choice of a delicious recipe kit, you will be brewing up your first batch of beer in no time at all. Don't settle for less when picking your homebrewing kit, pick MoreBeer! because we give you More! Fermonster Carboy - 6 gal. With Spigot: The Ported Fermonster is a brand-new fermenter designed specifically for fermentation. MoreBeer! gave product feedback for over 2 years of development and we think they nailed the design. The large lid allows for easy filling and makes hop or oak additions a breeze. The smooth sides are fantastic for sanitization - no ribs or texture to collect yeast or bacteria. The punted bottom allows sediment to collect to the sides so that you can siphon liquid from the center. Because they are made from virgin PET plastic, they're nearly unbreakable and a lot safer than similar glass carboys. Also notice the conical top which reduces surface area if you plan to store beer or wine long term. Five Gallon Stainless Steel Kettle: Made of high-quality stainless steel that is anything but cheap. The 0.5-mm thick sides and bottom are more than thick enough for this amount of liquid, and the riveted stainless steel handles on the kettle’s body make it easy to carry, even when filled. This 5-gallon kettle can safely hold up to 3 gallons of wort while boiling, making it the perfect size for brewing right in your own home! • FermZilla Tri-Conical - 27 L - Gen 3.2 FermZilla Tri-Conical - 27 L - Gen 3.2

    FermZilla Tri-Conical Fermenter | Gen 3.2 | 3 in. T.C. Collection Container | 27L | 7.1G

    6 reviews

The ultimate plastic pressurized conical A best seller for a reason!  Tons of features at an incredible cost Crystal Clear super smooth PET makes fermenting and cleaning super easy 3" Butterfly valve at bottom makes removing yeast/trub easy with the 600mL collection jar. Pressurizable (with accessories) for fermentation and closed transfer to your keg The Gen 3.2 FermZilla Tri-Conical features a newly designed collection container with top & bottom PCO1881 ports. The collection container has a 3" T.C. opening and installs on the Conical with a 3" T.C. butterfly valve. The molded 3" T.C. ferrule on the tank is a huge improvement over the Gen 2 model—eliminating the complicated dump valve design and simplifying the collection container connection. Brew with confidence on the new Tri-Clover FermZilla! Out of the box, the FermZilla Conical is an amazing fermenter that will immediately step up your game on the cold side of the brewing process. But what we love most about this unit is how easily it is to upgrade as you go—adding more functionality and gaining more precise control over your fermentation with each new accessory. Below are some of our favorite add-ons for the FermZilla Tri-Conical Fermenter. Pressure Kit The FermZilla is the perfect option for brewers that want all the advantages of a conical fermenter without the price tag of a full blown stainless steel unit. It allows you to dump trub, harvest yeast, and with the addition of the FermZilla Pressure Kit, you can carbonate and serve – all in one vessel! The clear PET tank allows you to visually monitor fermentation activity and is pressure rated to 2.4 Bar (34.8 psi), which means you can ferment under pressure, reducing ester and fusel alcohols in your finished beer. This also gives the ability to perform pressure transfers. If you prefer to move your finished beer to a keg or other vessel, you can do so with little to no oxygen exposure. Tri-Clamp Pressure Lid Add a 2" T.C. port to your fermenter by replacing the standard lid with the FermZilla Tri-Clamp Pressure Lid. This will give you an opening to add dry hops or other additions without needing to remove the entire lid, or you can upgrade down the road with a Hop Bong sight glass in order to add CO2 and purge your hop charge of oxygen. PCO1881 threaded ports are still there for Ball Lock Caps, as well as undrilled ports for an optional Thermowell and Temp Twister cooling coil. Hop Bong Pressure Pack The ultimate upgrade kit! The Hop Bong Pressure Pack has all of the parts included with the Pressure Kit and Tri-Clamp Pressure Lid but fully parted out to remove the guess work. If the Tri-Conical is your first FermZilla fermenter, this accessory kit is for you. Load up the Hop Bong, flush it with CO2, purge out oxygen with the handy PRV on top, then simply open the Butterfly Valve to inject your beer with a 6 oz payload of dry hops. FermZilla Gen 3 vs Gen 3.2: 3" x 3" T.C. butterfly dump valve 3" T.C. compatible collection container 600 mL collection container w/ top & bottom PCO1881 threaded ports What's Included: FermZilla 27L Tank with 3" T.C. Bottom Port 3" T.C. Butterfly Valve 600 mL Collection Container with 3" T.C. Connection Stainless Steel Stand with Swing Handles Stainless Steel Handle Assembly Top Lid with PRV (35 psi) 3" tri-clamp with gaskets 3-Piece Airlock Graduation Sticker Adhesive Thermometer Spare Seals Specs: 27 L (7.1 gal) Total Volume Pressure Rated to 2.4 Bar (34.8 psi) Height in Stand - 29.5" Height w/ Airlock - 33.7" Tank Diameter - 13.9" Diameter in Stand - 15.3" Lid & Collection Container Ports - 28 mm PCO 1881 threads Temperature Rating: When not under pressure, do not expose to liquids above 131°F When under pressure, do not expose to any temperatures above 95°F* *Please note that the temperature rating for the FermZilla tank is lower when using it under pressure. When not under pressure, it is perfectly safe to transfer wort into the tank below 131°F or to use hot liquids below this temp for cleaning. When under pressure, make sure to keep your fermentation temperature below 95°F and keep the fermenter in an environment that is below 95°F ambient. This is especially important when fermenting with kveik yeast. These strains are known to ferment hot if no temperature control is being used. Exceeding the temperature rating may compromise the tank, leading to a shorter life span or sudden failure to maintain pressure. Even with proper use, we recommend replacing the tank every two years. Please note: when using the FermZilla under pressure, you must perform a water pressure check to ensure your connections are leak proof. To do this, fill your FermZilla up with water, apply at least 15 psi pressure, and check for leaks around all caps and threads.   Pressure Stress If you use the FermZilla to ferment under pressure, or you use CO2 to pressure transfer or force carbonate your finished beer, it is very important that you conduct semi-annual inspections of your tank. Even with perfect care, the FermZilla tank may show signs of wear from pressure stress over time. We recommend visually inspecting your tank for stress creases or other signs of wear once or twice a year. A hydro test should be conducted every two years, even if no signs of wear are found. The process is simple: Fill the tank to the brim with water Replace the Red PRV with a Green PRV rated to 4.5 BAR or higher Pressurize the tank to 4 BAR (58 psi) Check for leaks, then replace the Red PRV when finished If leaks or potential points of failure are found, replace the tank before you continue using pressure with your FermZilla. General Care Taking good care of your FermZilla begins with cleaning and sanitizing the unit before and after use. The tank is made from food-grade PET, which is beautifully clear, but can be sensitive to long soaks in cleaners and acid-based sanitizers. In general, we do not recommend leaving products like PBW or StarSan soaking in the tank for more than an hour. Extended soaks have the potential to degrade the PET material and shorten the lifespan of the tank.   KegLand Part number: KL25898 NOTE: FermZilla tanks are marked with a manufacturer’s “expiry date”. This does not indicate that the tank is bad after this date; it simply indicates that a hydro test may be in order. 2 years after production and every 2 years after first use, it is recommended that the tank be hydro tested to ensure the tank is holding pressure. Hydro test instructions are available here. You will also need the D1072 Green PRV to perform the test. If you do not plan to pressurize the fermenter, the test is not necessary.

Speidel Plastic Fermenter | Rectangular HDPE Storage Tank | 60L | 15.9 gal

    30 reviews

Heavy-duty HDPE plastic fermentation and stoarge tank Made from food-safe materials with extra thick walls to preserve the aroma of your beverage Rotating plastic spigot eliminates the need to use an auto-siphon or racking arm to transfer liquid Wide top port opening for easy cleaning Airlock & stopper included Made in Germany by Speidel The future is here today, and the future is HDPE Fermentation & Storage Tanks from Speidel. Made in Germany from nothing but undyed and food-safe plastic, these tanks are produced with particularly thick walls which preserves the aroma and the alcohol for a markedly long time. The stable carrying handles have been tried and tested for decades and are extremely durable. Are you tired of carboys? Hate siphoning to transfer? Wish you could ferment larger batches in a single container? Sick of lifting 50lbs by a small metal handle? Done with worrying about shattered glass, injury and lost product? Well then have we got the solution for you! These heavy duty plastic tanks offer a fantastic fermentation & storage solution at a great price. Key Features: Heavy duty HDPE construction is durable and resists oxygen transfer. None of the risks of working with glass. Small footprint and rectangular shape makes them easy to store - take better advantage of the space you have to dedicate to wine & beer making. Built-in handles make these tanks easy to move, even when full. Large lid opening makes them easy to clean by hand - say goodbye to your carboy brush! All ports seal with gaskets and the vessel can be fully sealed for long-term storage. Includes a spigot and oversized 2-piece Speidel airlock. Designed and manufactured in Germany by Speidel, the makers of our legendary commercial wine tanks. 22"L x 16"W x 22" H, 8.82 lbs FAQ: Can filled containers be carried by the handles? Depending on the weight—barrels up to 30L are no problem—60L is the limit and should not be carried when completely full. The handles have a weight capacity of 30kg (66 lbs). Is there an upper limit on the alcohol content of the stored liquid? In principle, there is not. However, it should be noted that the higher the alcohol content, the faster the seals and, to a lesser extent, the tank itself will wear out. Up to what temperature can the containers be used? For short periods of time the containers can withstand temperatures of up to 80°C (176°F). This temperature should not be exceeded. For longer periods of time the containers can be used at temperatures up to 60°C (140°F).

Stainless Steel Wort Chiller with Brass Fittings - 50 ft x 1/2 in

    19 reviews

Few materials are more durable or more attractive than stainless steel, which is exactly what sets this Stainless Steel Wort Chiller from MoreBeer! apart from similar chillers. This chiller is made from 50 feet of stainless steel tubing measuring 1/2 inch diameter. Although stainless steel takes a little longer to cool your worth than comparable copper tubing, its advantage is that it won’t tarnish between uses. Stainless steel is also much more affordable than copper, which makes this an economical choice that won’t sacrifice quality or real-world effectiveness. This stainless steel wort chiller also contains a brass hose adapter for an even more attractive, high quality look and feel. The Stainless Steel Wort Chiller 50’ x 1/2” from MoreBeer! is made entirely in the U.S.  Note: The inner bend on the coils have small indentations that are a natural result of the winding process used during manufacturing. Take off the butterfly valve to add your yeast pitch, and when you're ready to add flavoring additions when fermentation is complete, drop them in oxygen-free via the Hop Bong. PCO1881 threaded ports are there for your Ball Lock Caps, as well as undrilled ports for an optional Thermowell and/or Temp Twister cooling coil. Hop Bong  Load up the Hop Bong and add CO2 to purge your hop charge of oxygen. This kit comes with a third Ball Lock Cap to introduce CO2 directly to the Hop Bong, as well as a pull ring PRV to release pressure and purge oxygen. Once you've flushed your hop charge with CO2, open the butterfly valve to inject your beer with up to 6 oz of hop pellets. Hop Pellet Capacity: 150–180g (5.2–6.3 oz) Kit Includes: FermZilla 2" T.C. Pressure Lid Starter Kit 2" Hop Bong 2" FermZilla Tri-Conical Butterfly Valve Floating Dip Tube Weighted Mesh Filter Attachment (KEG6571) Red PRV & PCO1881 Cap Combo Yellow Ball Lock Cap (2) Red Ball Lock Caps (2) 2" Tri-Clamps (2) 2" Silicone T.C. Gaskets KegLand Part Number: KB10897 Installation Note: For best performance, ensure there is not an excess amount of slack when the silicone dip tube is installed and shorten it if needed. With the floating dip tube installed on your empty FermZilla, you ideally want the dip tube to hang freely with just enough length for the end of the dup tube to touch the bottom of the tank. Warning: Always depressurize your system COMPLETELY before removing fittings from your fermenter.

Brew Bucket Mini Fermenter - 3.5 gal.

    36 reviews

Upgrade your home brewery with an innovative, Stainless Steel, 3.5 Gallon Brew Bucket™ Fermenter!  Many have asked for a smaller BrewBucket, and that has been heard.  The Brew Bucket mini is perfect for 2.5 gallon batches.  With features similar to the original 7 gallon Brew Bucket, the Mini is a great way to do smaller batches.  Whether you are interested in splitting a 5 gallon batch for experimenting, or just brew 2.5 gallons, the BrewBucket Mini is a great choice. Featuring a conical bottom, 304 SS construction, a rotating racking arm valve, and stackable design, these are space saving feature rich fermenters that are easy and enjoyable to use.  We inspected and used the Brew Bucket™ and one of the most unique features that stood out is that the Brew Bucket can be stacked during fermentation, even with an airlock attached. We also like the conical bottom that allows trub to settle out in a concentrated space that minimizes the surface area of the trub that is in contact with your beer.  The included Patent Pending Rotating Racking Valve is also a brilliantly simple design allowing you to rotate the racking arm inside the Brew Bucket down during fermentation to minimize trub, and later up to get clear beer when racking!   Etched Volume Markers on the inside were super handy when filling. The build quality is really amazing for the price. Welds are clean. The lid is strong and the spring loaded lid hatches are solid.  The lid includes a removable, molded silicone gasket that ensures an airtight seal.  We love an airtight seal so that we can be sure to see the airlock working. The welded on stainless handles make the BrewBucket fermentor super easy to move.  Features: 304 SS Food Grade Construction Rotating Racking Arm & Valve (Patent Pending) 3.5 Gal Max Capacity (2.5 gal Batches) 40° Conical Bottom for Trub Trapping Nests for Storage & Stacks for Ferment! • FermZilla Tri-Conical - 55 L - Gen 3.2 FermZilla Tri-Conical - 55 L - Gen 3.2

    FermZilla Tri-Conical Fermenter | Gen 3.2 | 3 in. T.C. Collection Container | 55L | 13.2G

    1 review

The ultimate plastic pressurized conical A best seller for a reason!  Tons of features at an incredible price Cyrstal clear super smooth PET makes fermenting and cleaning super easy 3" Butterfly valve at bottom makes removing yeast / trub easy with the 600mL collection jar Pressurizable (with accessories) for fermentation and closed transfer to your keg The Gen 3.2 FermZilla Tri-Conical features a newly designed collection container with top & bottom PCO1881 ports. NOTE: The primary example photo shows the collection container from the Gen 3 FermZilla. FermZilla Gen 3 vs Gen 3.2: 3" x 3" T.C. butterfly dump valve 3" T.C. compatible collection container 600 mL collection container w/ top & bottom PCO1881 threaded ports What's Included: FermZilla 55L Tank with 3" T.C. Bottom Port 3" T.C. Butterfly Valve 600 mL Collection Container with 3" T.C. Connection Stainless Steel Stand with Swing Handles Stainless Steel Handle Assembly Top Lid with PRV (35 psi) 3" tri-clamp with gaskets 3-Piece Airlock Graduation Sticker Adhesive Thermometer Spare Seals Specs: 55 L (13.2 gal) Total Volume Pressure Rated to 2.4 Bar (34.8 psi) Height in Stand - 41.5" Height w/ Airlock - 45.1" Tank Diameter - 13.9" Diameter in Stand - 15.3" Lid & Collection Container Ports - 28 mm PCO 1881 threads Temperature Rating: When not under pressure, do not expose to liquids above 131°F When under pressure, do not expose to any temperatures above 95°F* *Please note that the temperature rating for the FermZilla tank is lower when using it under pressure. KegLand Part number: KL25904 NOTE: FermZilla tanks are marked with a manufacturer’s “expiry date”.

  • BrewZilla Steam Condenser Set - 2 in. T.C. BrewZilla Steam Condenser Set - 2 in. T.C.

    Steam Condenser Set | 2 in. T.C. | BrewZilla | DigiBoil

Get to boil faster and increase boil vigor by retaining heat! Manage steam by turning it back into liquid that can later be used for cleaning/sanitizing Avoid the sticky residue that boiling wort can leave on your walls and ceiling Reduce the power consumption during the boil with your BrewZilla or DigiBoil Perfect accessory for indoor brewers! No need to install a special Range Hood to manage steam Made with the apartment and basement brewer in mind, this steam condenser set made from high quality 304 stainless steel will help you manage steam and condensation during the boil. Assembles in minutes and can be used with the BrewZilla or DigiBoil with the proper Distillation Lid and 2" T.C. weldless bulkhead. This setup will reduce heat loss, meaning you'll get to boil faster and use less energy overall to maintain a rolling boil. When it's time to add hops, yeast nutrients, or other additions, simply remove the tri-clamp end cap and drop them in. (Use gloves, it will be hot!). With the new Pro Sight Glass Distillation Lid, the condenser can be attached directly to the 35L unit's 2" T.C. ferrule or to the 65L unit's 4" T.C. ferrule using a 4" x 2" T.C. reducer. The Pro Distillation Lid also features a 3" sight glass disc that can be removed to address foaming issues or to add hops or other boil additions. If you've brewed indoors before, you're probably familiar with how sticky the evaporation coming off the boiling wort can be. The gummy layer of film it can leave behind on your painted walls and ceiling is no fun to clean up. And if you've been considering how to incorporate a range hood in your brewery to deal with the steam, now there's no need! Simply attach the Steam Condenser Set and run your kitchen tap or garden hose to the Duotight-compatible inlet. From the inlet, water will enter the column via a special spray head which can condense 0.42 gal (1.6 L) per minute while connected to 100 psi mains water. You'll find that a super-fast flow rate isn't necessary to cool boiling steam into liquid. Unlike the distillation process where the distillate needs to be under a certain temperature so that ethanol doesn't evaporate from the liquid at a high rate, with boiling wort you just need enough flow to form the steam back into liquid. Simple! After the steam is reformed into liquid, it will drain out of the bottom barb where you can install 3/8" ID silicone tubing. Recapture that water in a collection vessel and save it for cleaning and sanitizing! Once again, be aware that the water coming out will be very hot. Caution: You will need to remove the Steam Condenser when you reach boil to manage the hot break and ensure you don't have a boil over when you reach boiling temperatures. Once you've completed that step, you can reattach the Condenser and leave it in place for the remainder of the boil. Warning: It is important that the output tube for this steam condenser is open to atmosphere. This will allow the condensed steam to exit freely. DO NOT put a valve on the liquid output or restrict the condensed steam in any way as this may cause your brewery to develop vacuum and implode or explode. DO NOT immerse the tube for the condensed steam in water. The outlet hose must be open to atmosphere and the drips of condensed steam must drip into your collection bucket freely. You Will Also Need: Tri-Clamp Distillation Lid OR Standard Distillation Lid for 35L or 65L BrewZilla / DigiBoil With 2" T.C. Weldless Bulkhead (H707) OR Pro Distillation Lid for 35L or 65L BrewZilla / DigiBoil 35L Lid connects directly 65L Lid requires 4" x 2" TC Reducer 6.35 mm Monotight Adapter (or you can clamp directly to the inlet) 3/8" ID silicone tubing for the outlet Heat resistant brewing gloves Kit Includes: 5 x 2" Tri-Clamps 5 x 2" Tri-Clamp Silicone Seals 1 x 13.7" (340 mm) Long 2" T.C. Tee  1 x 7.8" (200 mm) Wide 2" T.C. Tee 1 x 2" T.C. End Cap 1 x 2" T.C. to 6.35 mm Duotight elbow cap with elongated spray head mister 1 x 2" T.C. x 0.47" (12 mm) Barb – Suitable for 3/8" (10 mm) ID Silicone tubing Some of these fittings are not sold separately NOTE: The kit does not include the Duotight adapter and garden hose QD shown in the example photo. Due to high demand, this item is currently out of stock. Be the first to receive your items by placing a pre-order today. We will automatically ship this to you when we receive more inventory.   The Catalyst represents the future of fermentation simplicity.  Easy to clean, transferless, this is a time-saving piece of equipment which you'll be surprised by the value of.  Boasting a rich set of features, the Catalyst Fermentation System was designed for homebrewers, while keeping true to many pro brewing principles.  Not only will the Catalyst Fermentation System save you time and energy, it will improve the quality of your beer! The 45° Conical Fermentation Tank is made of a BPA free Medical Grade material, Tritan, which can withstand dishwasher cleaning and is incredibly resistant to scratches or other damage.  The entire vessel is designed to withstand boiling temperatures, so wort can be transferred straight from your kettle to fermenter without cooling if necessary.  Thanks to the integrated dump valve, trub can be dumped, allowing for primary and secondary fermentations to take place in the same vessel.  This reduces transfers and touches, not only reducing oxygenation of your beer, but also reducing the chance of contamination.  Once fermentation is complete, you can bottle from the same system using the included tubing adapter for the dump valve. Conical design forces yeast & trub down to the integrated harvester, reducing contact with your beer and improving flavor.  Yeast harvesting is accomplished using the integrated oversized 3" Butterfly Dump Valve & commonly available mason jars.  When fermentation is complete, cleaning is even easier.  The Tritan material used for the conical resists buildup, and since the entire lid lifts off, cleaning the conical is as simple as a quick rinse & wipe down.  We've found the Catalyst to be a solid piece of equipment that does the job of many pieces of brewery equipment.  If you're looking for a fermenter that covers you from brew day to bottling, this is the unit for you! Features: 6.5 Gal capacity 45° Conical angle Oversized 3" buttefly dump valve Silicone Gasketed lid for perfect fermenter seal Uses common mason jars as yeast harvester All steps on the cold side of brewing in one vessel: Primary, Seconday, Yeast Harvesting, Bottling.
