    Krush™ Brand HBC 586 | Cryo Hops®

With complex, ripe, and punchy aromas, this is a brewer favorite that shines in all styles of beer and hop combinations Aroma Profile: Berry, Citrus, Stone Fruit, Tropical, Woody Alpha Acids: 18.0 – 22.0% Cryo Hop® Hop Pellets Higher AA and nearly twice the resin content of traditional T-90 hop pellets Increase yield by reducing vegetal matter in your brewhouse and fermenter Cryo Hops® provide brewers with the ability to get gigantic hop character while reducing astringent and unpleasant vegetal flavors. With a substantially higher oil and resin content, LupuLN2 powder offers up all the flavor and aroma of a heavily hopped beer, but with a significanly reduced grassy character. Additionally, the lower dosage rate of the concentrated powder reduces the volume of trub and therefore, kettle loss. Using Cryo Hops® you will net more beer that is clearer! Typical usage of Cryo Hops® would be roughly 50% of pellets. LupuLN2 powder can be used in any application where traditional hop products are utilized, including: Bittering, Kettle, Whirlpool and even direct to the fermentor.  It is suggested that you use Cryo Hops® as late additions, in the whirlpool or dry hop, as the volatile aromatic compounds will be driven off if added early in the boil. Cryo Hops® are an innovative hop product that is made by separating the lupulin from the hop flower using cryogenic processing. The result is a product with twice the potency of T90 pellets, with reduced astringency and vegetative material. Note: These hops come pelletized. The powder is compressed into pellet form to make handling easier. • Abstrax - Skyfarm Natural Fruit Flavor - Mango - PLACEHOLDER

Abstrax® Skyfarm Series | Natural Fruit Flavors | Mango

Abstrax® Skyfarm Series represents the freshest, most perfect version of fruit flavor and aroma Add high-amplitude, recognizable fruit flavor to your beer, cider, or seltzer without the hassle and potential downsides of using whole fruit or puree Flavor/Aroma: Tropical, Sweet, Creamy Built with terpenes for consistent results every time. Absolutely no variance or guesswork that comes with fresh fruit products Zero added sugar guarantees there's no risk of refermentation after you add it to your beverage Mango The true technicolor taste of juicy, ripe Mango is now possible. Step into the future of craft beverage flavor with succulent waves of sweet, lightly sour stone fruit. This is mango as it always should have been. Natural Fruit Flavors The Skyfarm series represents the freshest, most perfect version of fruit flavor and aroma. It has none of that “cooked” off-flavor that can sometimes tank a beer. There’s also none of that grandma’s perfume, potpourri, or floral junk either. Skyfarm is high-amplitude, recognizable flavor - and that’s important because when you put Strawberry on your bottle label or tap handle, people are going to expect to smell strawberries. It’s built with terpenes for the ultimate flavor consistency, ensuring the same flavor in every season. Benefits Skyfarm offers the same ease-of-use benefits as fruit purees without the downsides. No sugar is added to your batch so there's no risk of refermentation, there's no solid waste to remove when your beer is ready to be packaged, and there's a much lower risk of micro contamination compared to adding fruit products to your vessel when fermentation is complete. Since you can add Skyfarm at the coldest point in your process - after cold crashing, in the brite tank, or your keg - there is also no risk of aromatic compounds being driven out through your blowoff. Skyfarm also contributes no haze to your finished beer and doesn't leave a sticky residue behind, so you can forget about scrubbing fruit gunk from your tanks. Dosage Dosing rate greatly depends on your recipe and desired flavor intensity. We recommend starting with 2.5 mL for a 5-gallon batch and increasing to 5-15 mL for high-intensity flavor impact. Add after fermentation is complete, ideally at the coldest and latest point in your process, in your fermenter, keg, or bottling bucket. Features: 100% efficient flavor/aroma transfer No added mouthfeel. Won't impart sweetness or body Contains no sugar. Zero risk of refermentation Increases yield by avoiding product absorption TTB Approved Powered by Terpenes Repeatable Recommended storage: 40-90°F. Do not freeze.

  • Sale -39% Hot Fill Bags - Pack of 10 Hot Fill Bags - Pack of 10

Hot Fill Bags - Pack of 10

    2 reviews

These hot fill bladders are a great way to cut time out of your brew day using the "no chill" or "hot packing" method of cooling wort. When your boil is over, simply fill them up and wait for the wort to chill overnight or throw it in the fridge. This eliminates the traditional 30-60 minutes of chill time common in most brew days.  Use the wort immediately after it has cooled down, or store refrigerated for short periods of time. When chilled and ready to go, most brewers transfer the wort out of the bag and into their favorite fermenter. However it is possible to ferment directly in the bag with the use of a #7 stopper and airlock. Hot packing and the storage of wort at room temperature has been done in Australia as a common practice for decades.  Because of the temperature of wort entering the bag, any bacteria are killed. However there does exist a small chance of Botulism contamination for wort that is hot packed and stored.  Botulism spores can survive a boil and are only killed through high temperature pasteurization. We always recommend using the wort as quickly as possible once it has cooled.   Hot fillable means they can be filled with any liquid up to 212°F.  The triple layer construction makes these bags puncture resistant, chemical resistant, and gives the bag superior oxygen barrier properties. The first layer is 50-micron polyethylene, the second is 45-micron polyethylene, and the third is 15-micron nylon. 5.2 gal / 20L capacity. KegLand Part Number: KL18463

  • Oak Cubes - French (Heavy Toast) - PLACEHOLDER

French Oak Cubes (Stavin) - Heavy Toast

    6 reviews

Premium, Fire-Toasted Oak Cubes from Stavin Heavy Toast French Oak will impart flavors of campfire, char & roasted coffee, with hints of vanilla, cinnamon and chocolate. These fire-toasted oak cubes are as close as you can come to the full range of flavors you would get from aging your beer in a full sized barrel, unlike convection-toased cubes.  The difference is that convection toasted cubes are made by cutting the stave to size, then passing the small cubes through a toasting chamber. Stavin fire-toasts their staves whole, just like they would when making a barrel, and then cuts them down to size. The result is a gradation of toasting from the surface through to the center of the cube, where each different toast level represents a different flavor set that the oak will give your beer. The result is a much more complex and natural profile; by comparison convection toasted cubes taste one dimensional. Oak cubes also release their flavor into your beer more slowly than chips, giving you more control over the final degree of impact in your beer. You should plan on an extended aging period of 1-6 months when using cubes. This longer contact time again promotes flavor complexity by allowing all the flavors of the oak and your beer to marry. Recommended Dosage is 2 oz per 5 gallons for impact equivalent to aging in a brand new oak barrel.

This sticky, sweet nectar of the Agave plant is a fantastic way to experiment with different flavors in your meads and beers. It has a malty aroma with a hint of sweetness to it. One of the great things about Agave Extract is that it won't crystalize like honey will, so it maintains a smooth, liquid-like consistency. Notes of molasses come out when tasting it. The extract is light in color, and in addition to being fermented, many people use Agave extract as a sweetener in foods. And due to its low glycemic index, it is a great alternative to sugar for diabetics. Organic, non-GMO, and allergen-free.

Put the lid back on and store in the refrigerator for your next batch! WLP925 from White Labs is ideal for fermenting under pressure. When beer is fermented under pressure, it allows for the production of a clean flavor profile, even when fermenting a lager at room temperature. Fermenting under pressure is advantageous in that it reduces ester and fusel alcohol production, reduces or negates the possibility of oxidation, carbonates the beer during fermentation and allows you to ferment warmer than you would otherwise. Use to ferment lager beer in one week! Ferment at room temperature (62-68°F) under 1.0 bar (14.7 PSI) until final gravity is obtained, generally in one week. Lager the beer at 35°F, 15 PSI, for 3-5 days, to condition. Sulfur production is strong first 2 days, then disappears by day 5. Do not need to carbonate, since at 1 bar entire time. Its neutral character similar to WLP001, offers less attenuation asn will not accentuate hop bitterness as much and offers a hit tartness in your beer. Very clean with low esters. White Labs reccomends this yeast strain for golden, blonde, honey, and pales ales and German alt style ales. PurePitch® Next Generation—now with more yeast, get a foolproof fermentation without a starter! Just twist the cap & pitch! Why PurePitch Next Gen versus other options? Typically yeast manufacturers use a range for how many yeast cells are going into each package. This can vary widely, especially from strain to strain. Next Gen offers a far more precise cell count across all strains allowing you to use the Whitelabs exclusive pitch calculator. Simply scan the barcode on the back of each package to be taken to their online calculator. Enter the volume, strength, and pitching temperature of the wort you are fermenting and the calculator tells you exactly how much yeast to pitch. You will be fermenting like a professional brewer, using the same concentration of yeast every time and enjoying more consistent results. Don't need a full package? Put the lid back on and store in the refrigerator for your next batch. Whitelabs has also increased the viability (the number of living cells in the package) over the shelf life of the yeast. Next Gen strains are grown in their unique, small-batch reactors to assure freshness and then packaged in a special film that allows for off-gassing, assuring that their viability is absolutely industry leading. Attenuation: 70-75% Flocculation: Low to Medium Alcohol Tolerance: 5-10% ABV Optimum Fermentation Temp: 68-73°F Cell Count: 150 Billion For best results we always recommend ordering an ice pack with your liquid yeast. Please Note: When choosing an ice pack option beware that the liquid yeast will not arrive cold even when shipped together. Ice packs and insulated mailing options are designed to keep the yeast colder for longer during shipment, but they will not ensure that your yeast arrives cold. We will not replace liquid yeast that arrives warm. During warmer months we strongly recommend you choose dry yeast.

Contains up to 4.5% natural lactic acid to precisely adjust mash pH, promoting enhanced enzyme activity By optimizing mash pH, this acidulated malt directly contributes to a higher brewhouse yield Use as up to 5% of your grain bill IREKS Sour Malt, also known as acidulated malt or saurmaltz, with its natural lactic acid content of up to 4.5% is an excellent solution for precisely adjusting mash pH. Compared to typical sour malts, IREKS contains roughly double the lactic acid, allowing you to use as little as half the amount to achieve the same results. This optimization directly supports enhanced enzyme activity, leading to a higher brewhouse yield. The ideal addition rate of IREKS Sour Malt will vary for each brewery. Factors such as brewing water quality, mashing schedule, and grist composition all influence the precise amount needed for optimal results. Comparable to Weyermann Acidulated Malt, but IREKS Sour Malt has a much higher lactic acid content of up to 4.5% rather than the 1-2% of the Weyermann. IREKS Sour Malt is able to achieve the same pH adjustment with less usage in the overall grain bill.  Malt Specification: Color °L - 0.9-2.3 Moisture % - max. 8.0 pH Value - 3.35-3.70 Usage Rate - Up to 5%

Brewelements - The Periodic Table of Brewing Ingredients +

There’s a lot to brewing. Although it’s relatively simple to learn, it can take a lifetime to master, and with all the different yeast, malts, hops, and specialty versions of each it can get more than a little complicated. This infographic is to help you understand the ingredients of brewing, brewing elements if you will, along with their unique characteristics and how they work together to make you a better brewer. It is broken into three sections, malt, hops, and yeast. Use it as a quick reference, study guide or print it out as a place mat, wall decoration, coaster, birth certificate, marriage license, the uses are endless, and we mean endless. Use this infographic periodically as a brewing reference

Do you need to refrigerate the ingredients until brew day? +

The yeast is the most important ingredient to refrigerate once you receive your order. Hops should be refrigerated after a couple days if they're left out at room temp. Hops can be frozen and will last for 2-3 years still preserving their freshness. Malt extract should be left at room temperature until brew day up to 1-2 weeks. Liquid Malt Extract can can be refrigerated but will become rock solid which requires a hot water bath to thaw out or 24 hours at room temp to re-liquify. Dried Malt Extract should be stored at room temperature. Any grains in a paper bag should be used within 2-3 days for optimum freshness especially if they are pre-milled. Grain stored in plastic bags will last a couple months un-milled. We suggest double bagging to prevent oxidation.
