The MonsterMesh is perfect for adding dry hops to your beer! Keep your dry hopping on a precise schedule by adding them to this mesh sleeve inside the Fermonster Plastic Carboy, then easily pull them out after the desired contact time. This mesh sleeve is custom made for the FerMonster Plastic Carboy. The plastic ring sits inside the neck of the fermenter, and the lid can be secured on top to make an airtight seal. The ring actually holds onto the neck of the FerMonster so there's no risk of the mesh sleeve falling into the carboy. Made from food grade materials, the #50 mesh will not affect the flavor of the beer or wine, and is temperature rated to 122°F. Designed for multiple uses, the MonsterMesh can be cleaned in the dishwasher and sanitized with the sanitizer of your choice. The MonsterMesh can be used alongside the MiniMesh to hold multiple additions. The MonsterMesh will sit on the neck of the carboy, and the MiniMesh can be inserted through the stopper hole in the lid. Outlet barb accepts 3/8" ID vinyl tubing. To use as a fermenter you will need to pick up the optional lid, stopper, and an airlock. Includes our new Sediment Block Spigot, which will help minimize trub uptake as you rack after fermentation. If using this as a bottling bucket, simply rotate the spigot to maximize product output. Spigot includes gasket and sediment blocking lock nut and can easily be removed for cleaning and sanitizing. If you use the bucket for fermentation be sure to use care when cleaning. Do not use any abrasive pads that would scratch. Once you get a scratch in a plastic bucket it is very hard to sanitize. This is also why we don't recommend storing equipment in a bucket between uses as a fermenter. A hot PBW soak is often a perfect way to clean a bucket, followed by a Star San soak for killing bacteria. If you aspire to build the ultimate homebrewery then you should really consider the Ultimate Grain Mill. With a stainless construction, 60lb grain hopper with lid, fully adjustable hardened steel rollers, and explosion proof motor this is the top-of-the-line grain mill for homebrewers and a great choice for a nano brewery.
The all stainless hopper holds a sack of malted grain. The included stainless lid keeps dust down and keeps your hopper clean for your next batch. The mill body itself is also made from stainless steel while the 2" diameter rollers are made from hardened steel for longevity. The rollers adjust on both sides providing for a consistent, even gap the length of the rollers. The rollers are knurled in a pattern that we have found over the years to deliver a great crush and consistent feed.
We use an explosion proof motor, found on commercial mills, because grain dust can ignite if a regular electric motor was to emit a spark. It is a measure of safety to give you and your family peace of mind. The switch on this unit has been upgraded with a sturdy cover, to further diminish the chance of sparking.
The stainless stand allows for a six gallon reception bucket to be slid under to collect cracked grain. Since grain dust is to be avoided in a brewery we make the bucket-to-stand fit perfectly tight to reduce dust in your brewery. A six gallon bucket will hold 25 pounds of grain, which we have found is a manageable size to lift. For larger batches you can mill into one bucket, turn off the mill, and continue milling into the next bucket.

Please note: The UltiMill now features a finger guard inside the hopper near the rollers. It is a simple welded-in-place bar that will not affect grain being fed into the mill but may affect larger materials if the mill is being used for something other than brewing malt.

Transfer wine out of a barrel using inert gas to reduce oxidization with our Gas Transfer Tool. After using most all similar tools on themarket, we took what we liked and disliked and made our own. Obviously we love the price!... but perhaps more impressive is the polished finish and the excellent quality welds. We sell it without a sight-gauge welded in or attached. We found it easier to clean without a welded in place sight-gauge. We also found that most wineries already had other sight-gauges in the winery and did not need it included. Of course it is available as an option, (sight-gauge H664, clamp H652, gasket, h656.) Replacement gaskets and parts in stock and available.
