El Dorado hops are utilizied for their high alpha bittering characteristics and are best known for a sweet, candy-like aroma. Strong bittering and aromatic notes of cherry and mango compliment everything from IPAs to Pale Ales and Wheats. Grown in the Moxee Valley, a sub region of Yakima Valley, Washington.

Distilled hop oil is an amazing new product we are making available to homebrewers. Distilled hop oil varies from other oils in that it is produced from fresh hops, as opposed to dried and processed pellets. Distilled hop oil delivers the same wet hop character that was previously only possible to acquire with the use of freshly harvested hops. The oil is extremely shelf stable, so you can now brew a consistant fresh hop IPA all year long. Extremely volatile, this oil should only be used for aromatic applications; typically applied at bottling/kegging.
Distilled hop oil is very potent; add to taste. We recommend using roughly 0.5-1 ml per 5 gallon batch, if replacing 50-100% of a dry hop, added directly to the beer prior to bottling or during kegging. Be careful to not push off the volatile aromatic compounds (disturb the beer as little as possible and reduce oxygen exposure). Most staff members here found that 1ml per 5 gallons was "too hoppy" when replacing 100% of the dry hop. Hop heads (myself included), found that the 1 ml per 5 gallon dosage gave a pungent, fresh, pleasurable and unique hop experience. Tasting these oils is as close to being in Yakima for hop harvest as possible!

Optimized Hop Extracts
When you extract the oil from hops, no matter how good your extraction is, you’ll always wind up with certain undesirable plant compounds. Abstrax Omni Hop Profiles are true-to-type optimized hop extracts without any of the undesirable notes typically found in other dry-hop aroma oils.
The Power of Terpenes
Abstrax Omni Hop Profiles are created by using individual terpene isolates. Think of them like little building blocks. We assemble them together to create an exact profile of the original hop with ZERO undesirable compounds. The result is an extremely potent and accurate profile of the original hop utilizing the power of terpenes.
Extremely Concentrated
A little really goes a long way here. Omni Hop Profiles are made from the essential building blocks of flavor and aroma so they’re naturally potent.
Dosage
Use at a rate of 2.5 mL per 5-gallon batch. Add at any point on the cold side in your fermenter, keg, or bottling bucket. Or even add a drop or two to spike your finished beer in the glass.
Features:
100% efficient flavor/aroma transfer
Consistent from batch to batch
Increase in yield/profit 5-30%
Omni Hop Profiles will not affect IBU test results and they cannot cause lightstruck off-flavors
Zero Undesirable Plant Compounds
No Lipids
No Chlorophyll

High concentrations of survivable compounds
Reduction of waste
How to Brew with HyperBoost?
HyperBoost® is designed to easily pour in your fermenter as a dry hop addition, adding an intense saturation of hop flavor to your finished beer. Most brewers choose to use HyperBoost during active fermentation, but it can also be added to the whirlpool. Using HyperBoost in place of traditional pellets can increase finished beer yield.
Kettle: HyperBoost is not intended for kettle additions. For early kettle and bittering additions, we recommend pellets or CO2 extract. DynaBoost® carries variety-specific oil and alpha acid content to the kettle and can be used as a late kettle addition.
Post-Boil / Whirlpool: For whirlpool use, brewers can replace up to 100% of pellets with HyperBoost. We suggest replacing T-90 pellet additions in the whirlpool at a rate of 50:1 by weight (20 g of HyperBoost to replace 1 kg T-90). Your brewery might choose to use more or less depending on beer style or overall goal.
Fermentation: HyperBoost can be used as an active or post-fermentation hop addition. Incorporate HyperBoost anywhere in the process you would typically use pellets.
Dry Hopping: For dry hop additions, YCH recommends using HyperBoost for 25-50% of the addition and adding T-90 or Cryo® pellets for the remainder of the hop charge. As a dry hop, we suggest starting with a replacement rate of 100:1 HyperBoost to T-90 pellets by weight (10 g HyperBoost in place of 1 kg T-90) to 125:1 (8 g HyperBoost in place of 1 kg T-90).

El Dorado® Quantum Brite
El Dorado® is a cornucopia of ripe tropical fruit notes that can only be described as a juicy fruit bomb. Soft pineapple and stone fruit blend with soft floral notes for a truly spectacular addition to many beer.
Optimized Hop Extracts
Compared to other hop-extracts, the Quantum Series tastes better, performs better, and is easier to use. It works with everything from Pils to Porters with no special handling required. Easily flowable at cool, ambient, and warm temperatures. Gone are the days of warming up your extract or scrubbing the sticky gunk out of your equipment.
Compared to hops and pellets, the Quantum Series offers a 100% utilization rate and can be used at any stage of the brewing process. It cuts down on shipping and storage costs by an order of magnitude, not to mention the labor savings from not having to lug boxes around.
Quantum Tastes Better
The Quantum Series is an evolutionary leap forward in aroma and brewing technology. When you get down to it, nobody wants to use an extract product that makes their beer taste worse off. Extracts have taken a bad rap because they can often add more problems than they solve and, frankly, they don’t always taste the greatest. Abstrax gets it. That’s why, above all else, flavor and aroma come first with Quantum.
Dosage
Consider 1mL of Quantum Brite the flavor/aroma equivalent of 1 oz of T-90 pellet hops. Add after fermentation is complete, ideally at the coldest and latest point in your process, in your fermenter, keg, or bottling bucket. Or even add a drop or two to spike your finished beer in the glass.
Features:
100% efficient flavor/aroma transfer
Consistent from batch to batch
No yield loss from absorption
Quantum will not affect IBU test results and cannot cause lightstruck off-flavors
Zero Undesirable Plant Compounds
No Lipids
No Chlorophyll

We recently had a simple, yet exciting idea: What if we brewed the same recipe, used the same yeast, but changed one thing - the flavor, aroma, and dry hop additions using one hop varietal. That way we could take two beers that are close to identical and pick out the differences in just the hop flavors and aromas! And thus, the Single Hop Experiment was born. This recipe is based off of a simple Pale Ale: Ultralight malt extract, Crystal 15L, Magnum bittering hops, and then a single other hop for the rest of the additions. The malt in this recipe is basic and fairly neutral, the bittering clean and consistent, but the flavor and aroma from the late hop additions will vary; sometimes dramatically! Liquid Malt Extract (LME) vs. Dried Malt Extract (DME)
MoreBeer! recipe kits are offered in both Liquid Malt Extract and Dry Malt Extract so that our customers can choose the format that best suits their needs and brewing style. LME is a viscous liquid, similar in consistency to maple syrup. In addition to being the more affordable option, many brewers find LME easier to handle than dry extract. DME is more condensed and comes in a powder format that is similar to baking flour. Although it’s a little more costly, DME is naturally lighter in color and stays fresher for longer. We highly recommend DME when brewing light colored beers.
Our clone recipe of Sierra Nevada's Hop Hunter IPA a tasty, easy drinking and highly aromatic beer spiked with El Dorado hop oil
Includes Bravo™, Cascade, Crystal, and Simcoe® hops
Estimated ABV: 6.2%
Estimated IBUs: 60

Hop Hunter IPA by Sierra Nevada brewing is the inspiration for this delicious recipe. Hop Gatherer is a Hop Hunter clone, which contains all of the same ingredients as the original beer, but gives you the option of what distilled oil you would like to use. We offer the kit with either Chinook or El Dorado farm distilled hop oil. Either way, this makes a tasty, easy drinking and highly aromatic IPA!
A bit about farm distilled hop oil: Distilled immediatley after picking, farm distilled hop oil gives you the bursting aroma provided by fresh hops. By distilling the oil at the farm, the distinct character of a "wet hop" beer is able to be replicated year round. The oil can be added post fermentation, typically at bottling. You can even add the oil directly to your glass! Be careful, it is VERY POTENT!
Light in color and incredibly smooth, this IPA is enjoyed by all. Not too bitter, but absolutely hoppy enough to please the biggest hop head!

A new way to IPA! Firestone Walker's Hopnosis IPA represents one of the tastiest examples of a new beer style that is quickly gaining ground—Cold IPA. These beers feature the massive hopping schedules you'd expect from an IPA but are then fermented cold with a lager strain. This gives the beer a clean, crisp and crushable profile while allowing the hops to be on full display. From the top of the boil to the final post fermentation dry hop, you'll find a long list of delicious hop varieties from the U.S. and New Zealand. One of the standouts is Mosaic® Cryo Hops® which are used as the biotransformation dry hop addition. Prepare to be absolutely mesmerized by Hopnosis IPA's explosion of tropical fruit flavors including mango, passionfruit, white grape, and lychee.
What Firestone Walker Has to Say About Hopnosis:
In early 2022, we launched Hopnosis as our next-generation West Coast-style IPA. Now the time has come to embrace an even more accurate stylistic moniker for Hopnosis: Cold IPA. While IPAs are typically fermented with ale yeasts, cold IPAs like Hopnosis are fermented with lager yeasts. Remember that IPA stands for India Pale Ale, so fermenting an IPA with lager yeasts signifies a break with tradition.
“When you use a lager yeast to ferment an IPA, you get a cleaner and less ester-driven aroma profile,” said Brewmaster Matt Brynildson. “The colder fermentation also creates a lighter backbone that helps accentuate the bright, tropical hops we’re using. So while Hopnosis offers a lot of things you love in a straight-ahead West Coast IPA, the lager yeast is what pushes it toward the Cold IPA style.”
As a result, Hopnosis rings all the bells of a Cold IPA: crisp and crushable, with a clean hop profile.

Puttin' on the Spritz! There's a new style on the scene that has everyone tapping their toes, and we're excited to bring you a beer from the man that started the tune. In our latest addition to the BrewMaster Series lineup we have one of the original Brut IPA's - Puttin' on the Spritz! This hybrid IPA is the brainchild of Kim Sturdavant of Social Kitchen & Brewery in San Francisco, California. We first met Kim on our journey to brew with and understand the amyglucosidase enzyme (the signature ingredient responsible for a Brut's dry character). Kim, being the stand-up fella that he is, was kind enough to not only share his knowledge of the AMG enzyme, but also the very recipe that shook up the brew scene and inspired countless iterations of the style. Despite its dry character, Puttin' on the Spritz is sneaky drinkable with a thirst-quenching profile. El Dorado and Mosaic® hops impart tart citrus and tropical fruit notes, while a grain bill primarily featuring pilsner malt and flaked corn makes for an ultra-clean finish with almost no caramel or overt malty flavors. Crisp, dry, clean, crushable. Curious about Brut IPA's? Check out There and Back Again, A Brut IPA Tale! In this article, our own Vito Delucchi takes us along on his quest to unlock the mysteries of the amyloglucosidase enzyme and discover the best methods for brewing Brut IPA's. This BrewMaster Series kit was scaled down to a homebrew batch size in collaboration with the brewmasters at Social Kitchen & Brewery Decidedly dry yet sneaky drinkable and thirst-quenching with notes of tart citrus and tropical fruit Includes El Dorado and Mosaic® hops Estimated ABV: 6.9% Estimated IBUs: 24 Makes 5 gallons of finished beer If you're blue, and you don't know where to go to, why don't you go where dry beer sits? Puttin' on the Spritz! There's a new style on the scene that has everyone tapping their toes, and we're excited to bring you a beer from the man who started the tune. El Dorado and Mosaic® hops impart tart citrus and tropical fruit notes, while a malt bill primarily featuring pilsner DME and flaked corn makes for an ultra-clean finish with almost no caramel or overt malty flavors. Also be sure to check out Kim's Brut IPA website where he discusses the philosophies, techniques, and history of this emerging style.
Mosaic® is a registered trademark owned by Yakima Chief Hops, LLC.
