Ariana Hops (Pellets)
From the Hop Research Center in Hüll, Germany, Ariana was developed from a cross breeding of Herkules and an unspecified wild male hop. Although it has a high enough alpha acid content to be used for bittering, Ariana's oil content makes it an ideal choice for aroma additions and dry hopping. The aroma profile is dominated by sweet, tropical fruit notes of pineapple and passion fruit, along with citrus and berries. A delicious addition to your next Pale Ale, IPA, or Hazy. Hop Statistics: Alpha Acids: 10.0 – 13.0% Beta Acids: 4.5 – 6.0% Alpha-Beta Ratio: 1.66 – 2.88 Cohumulone: (% of alpha acids): 40 – 42% Total Oils in mls per 100 grams dried: 1.6 – 2.4
