If you're a fan of Amber Ales, then you need to try this Alaskan Amber clone kit! The recipe is one of true Amber fashion, leaning on three different crystal malts for the flavoring grains. Saaz and Cascade hops help to contribute some hop flavor and aroma, but are really just there to compliment the rich malt flavors, allowing them to be the focus of the beer.
A classic example of an American Amber, and certainly one of our easiest drinking kits makes the Anchorage Amber Ale a must brew!

Liquid Malt Extract (LME) vs. Dried Malt Extract (DME)
MoreBeer! recipe kits are offered in both Liquid Malt Extract and Dry Malt Extract so that our customers can choose the format that best suits their needs and brewing style. LME is a viscous liquid, similar in consistency to maple syrup. In addition to being the more affordable option, many brewers find LME easier to handle than dry extract. DME is more condensed and comes in a powder format that is similar to baking flour. Although it’s a little more costly, DME is naturally lighter in color and stays fresher for longer. We highly recommend DME when brewing light colored beers.
Everything that comes with our Deluxe kit plus some major upgrades Large 8.5-gallon brew kettle with ball valve port for easy transferring of liquids Copper wort chiller offers a quick & convenient way to chill wort — no ice bath required! Step-by-Step instruction pamphlet fine-tuned over 20 years for easy success Your choice of recipe kit included The Premium Homebrewing Starter Kit is our "get the best to start with" kit and comes with all the bells and whistles! Included in this beer brewing starter kit is a massive 8.5 gallon stainless steel brewing kettle, 7 gallon Fermonster fermenter, copper wort chiller, choice of ingredient kit, and all the time tested brewing equipment you need to make beer at home. Long story short, this kit has everything you need to start home brewing! We started with our Deluxe Homebrew Starter Kit (BRKIT20) and upgraded the brew kettle to an 8.5 gallon model. The larger volume kettle allows for Full-Boil brews which can have lighter color and better hop flavors. The included kettle spigot makes transferring liquid from your kettle to your Fermonster Fermenter safe and easy. Our kettle also includes a thermometer port with plug so that you can add a dedicated kettle thermometer at any time. You will also enjoy the new silicone handle grips and internally stamped volume markers. Then in order to quickly cool the beer after boiling we included our WC20 copper Wort Chiller (a $60 value!). To top it off, we upgraded the Fermonster by a gallon to a massive 7 gallon capacity. This can be key down the road when you want to brew certain styles of beer that foam a lot during fermentation. With smaller fermenters it can bubble right out of the top. Stay out of trouble by never making a mess! A larger kettle, wort chiller and bigger fermenter are some of the first upgrades new brewers make—save yourself the hassle and purchase these items at an amazing value as part of the Premium Homebrew Starter Kit, from Morebeer!™ The Fermonster Fermenter - A Huge Upgrade Over Standard Buckets or Glass "Carboy" Water Bottles Unlike buckets or glass carboys, the Fermonster fermenter was designed for brewing beer. It is made from tough, clear, virgin grade PET plastic so you can see the magic of fermentation. Unlike glass it will never break and shatter if dropped. It represents a huge upgrade over traditional buckets because these fermenters are much less likely to get scratched. Scratches can hold bacteria that can cause off flavors in the beer. The Fermonster comes with a built-in spigot that eliminates a long time issue in homebrewing of having to start a siphon to transfer your beer to the bottling bucket after fermentation is over. The large 4" lid allows for easily adding yeast, hops, or other additions. We also really love the molded-in level markers that tell you exactly when you have reached your desired volume. We Don't Skimp on Cleaning and Sanitizing Proper cleaning and sanitizing is one of the core tenants of making great beer. Some starter kits utilize an all-in-one cleaner/sanitizer that does neither job well. We’ve included the best-selling sanitizer for brewing, Star San. We also include Craftmeister oxygen-based cleaning tablets that make cleaning your Fermonster Fermenter a breeze. Other Upgrades That Make Brewing Easier We’ve also made a few items standard that really make the brew day easier including a thermometer for temperature monitoring and a hydrometer with testing jar for measuring sugar levels. Our reusable mesh bags allow for the easy removal of spent grain and hops at the end of the boil. The included stainless spoon is a really nice upgrade over plastic when you are stirring boiling liquids. Easy to follow, How-To Instructions with Videos & a FREE 800 Number with Actual Brewers to ask questions! We've taught hundreds of thousands of people how to brew in over 25 years. Cascade hops are one of the classic American hop varieties, and we love them for their citrus, grapefruit character. Pliny the Elder is a truly amazing beer with a cult like following. This beer is an intense Double IPA that is highly bitter with an intense hop flavor and aroma thanks to its 9 separate hop additions. Haze Craze is our most popular New England IPA recipe kit. Wheat and oats lend a delightful mouthfeel and silky texture. Anchorage Amber is modeled after the very popular Alaskan Amber® Ale. Commercial quality beer bottle caps to keep your brew safe and sound from bottling day until you're ready to enjoy it. You will get a good firm seal that will last through transport, gift giving, and storage with these orange bottle caps. These bottle caps crimp down onto the beer bottle and make a firm seal. They don’t rust or leak and they contain an Oxygen absorbing agent in the liner, which means you won’t get any unwanted oxidation. A good value for a great product.
26 mm diameter caps fit American bottles. Some imported bottles and some sparkling wine bottles use a 29 mm cap instead. We recommend test fitting prior to filling if you're re-using an imported bottle.
Important to note: It is recommended that you only sanitize as many caps as you'll require at the time of bottling. The oxygen-absorbing agent is activated when the cap gets wet. If wetted caps are saved for later use, they'll still function as a normal cap, but the oxygen absorbing agent may be depleted.
Pilsner is the lightest LME we sell and our most recommended liquid extract for brewing lagers
A reliable base malt extract for brewing German Lagers, Czech Pilsners, and Belgian style beers
Can be used as 100% of your fermentable sugar in extract brewing
Add for color correction, boost gravity, or improve head retention in all grain brewing
Made from Pilsner style 2-row malt with added Carapils for body this extract is absolutely perfect as the base for any lager, especially German lagers and Czech Pilsners. Our Pilsner Malt Extract is also a our first choice for Belgian style beers. This is the most fermentable malt extract we sell so you if you are looking for dry beer with a crisp finish and less residual maltiness this is your best choice. This also the lightest malt extract we sell as you can see in the photo.
Pilsner malt extract is the most fragile malt extract because aging and exposure to high temperature will darken it and change the flavor. Packaged in oxygen barrier foil bags that keep the extract from oxidizing. Does fresh extract make a difference ...decide for yourself!
We recommend customers to store their extract in the refrigerator if they do not plan on using it within 8 weeks.
This smaller Bordeaux bottle offers the classic shape in a size that's half the volume
Antique green glass color is often preferred for red wines to protect them from light during long term storage
Farro Glass offers a full lineup of the most essential and commonly used bottles in winemaking
A half volume option for the most popular wine bottle in the world. As the name suggests, the Bordeaux bottle (also known as a Claret bottle) originates from the Bordeaux region of France. Easily identified by its wide shoulders and straight body, this bottle style comes in a variety of colors and is suitable for a myriad of wine styles. Brown and dark green are commonly used for reds to protect them from light during long storage periods, while light green and flint are most often used only for white wines that will be consumed much sooner after bottling. These 375 mL bottles are excellent for pricier beverages, or when you want to make sure you're going to finish the bottle without having to open a full 750 mL bottle.

Pale Malt Extract is made from 2-row and Carapils for a more pronounced malt flavor than Ultralight
Added body and mouthfeel. Perfect for Pale Ales and IPAs
Can be used as 100% of your fermentable sugar in extract brewing
Add for color correction, boost gravity, or improve head retention in all grain brewing
A little darker than Ultralight, the Pale Malt Extract has a more pronounced malt flavor. Made with American 2-row with Carapils added for body and mouthfeel. Perfect for Pale Ales, IPA's and all darker style beers. If you are making a darker beer you simply steep darker specialty grains to obtain the flavor and color you are looking for.
Packaged in a special metallic, oxygen barrier bag that unlike plastic jugs does not allow any oxidation to occur. Does fresh extract make a difference? Decide for yourself!
We recommend customers store their extract in the refrigerator if they do not plan on using it within 8 weeks.
Ultralight is perfect for brewing extract beers when you want to have the lightest color possible
A reliable base malt extract for brewing any beer style
Can be used as 100% of your fermentable sugar in extract brewing
Add for color correction, boost gravity, or improve head retention in all grain brewing
Ultralight is one the lightest Malt Extract available anywhere and has a great malty, grain flavor. The color is so light because it is made from 100% 2-row base malt. Our manufacturer also uses a minimum amount of heat, and a slower evaporation to reduce the carmelization found in most other extracts. This extract is mashed around 152 degrees which results in beers with great malt flavor yet good fermentability. We use it in a majority of our Recipe Kits. It is unbeatable for light colored Pale Ales and amazing in IPA's where it lets the hops become the focus. If you are making a darker beer you can simply steep darker specialty grains to obtain the flavor and color you are looking for.

Gasket/Seal for the back end of the fill spouts in our WE602 and WE610 3 and 5 Spout Siphon Fillers. This is the gasket which seals the fill spout against the inner wall of the filler's reservoir when a bottle is not on the spout.
This is a replacement cap for our line of Speidel Plastic Fermenters. It has a gasketed seal, and serves to close the fermenter. This is also the same cap used on our Speidel Tank Airlocks.
Brass reducing bush. 1/2" BSPP x 3/4" BSPP.
BSP vs. BSPP
BSP (or BSPT) fittings have a tapered thread and require teflon tape to form a seal between the male and female fitting. BSP fittings are generally intended to be used with their counterpart of the same thread type. ONLY 1/2" BSP fittings are compatible with US-standard NPT fittings of the same size. BSPP fittings, on the other hand, have a straight thread, require a gasket seated inside the female fitting to form a seal, and are not compatible with NPT.

Rubber Carboy Blow Off Hood with two attachments for vinyl blow off hoses (3/8" or 1/2"). Fits our 3, 5, 6, or 6.5 gallon glass carboys with smooth necks. Can also be used on 5 and 6 gallon plastic carboys.
TIP: Carboy hoods are exceptionally useful for blowoff tubes. Just add 3' of 1/2" racking tubing into a bucket of water as your airlock.
This is a great addition to most siphon setups as it can be used to control the flow of liquid. 1/2" Diameter tubing will fit onto this, and the switch on the side turns the liquid flow on or off.
Add great fruit flavor and aroma to your beer or kombucha with our natural fruit flavorings. Best if added just prior to bottling. We recommend you start by adding 2 oz per 5 gallon batch and then add more according to your taste. Contains no sugar or haze-causing pectins.
Non-Flavor Ingredients: Water, Propylene Glycol, Gum Arabic, Glycerin, Citric Acid, Ethyl Alcohol, Sodium Benzoate, Caramel Color(Sulfites), and Triethyl Citrate. Contain Sulfites
Brewmaster Belgian Candi Syrups are premium flavoring sugars to enhance the flavor of authentic Belgian-tasting beers
Flavor: Toffee, vanilla, and toasted flavors
Recommended for Belgian Brown Ales and medium Golden Ales
Amber is a rich translucent amber syrup. We've tested it in Chimay clones and Belgian Brown Ales. The unmistakable toffee, vanilla, and toasted flavors that are magically created from raw beet sugar are what make Amber Syrup uniquely aromatic and delicious. Exceedingly good in Brown Ales or medium Golden Ales that require an aromatic nose and subtle flavor.
One pound of Amber Candi Syrup will add an estimated SRM of 7.5L to 6 gallons of wort.

Impart a perfect replication of barrel aromatics without the lengthy process of barrel ageing
Consistent, repeatable results every time without the need to blend various barrels of product together
Infuse oak aromatics into beer in minutes. Safe for use with low alcohol beers as there's no risk of infection that comes from barrel ageing beer below 12% ABV
Increase the perceived quality of your wine without drastically increasing production overhead or lead time
Eliminate the expensive, compounding loss of the "Angel's Share"—spirits typically lose 5-10% of their volume in barrels due to evaporation
Made with amburana barrels that contained Cachaca, a traditional Brazilian sugarcane spirit. Highly aromatic, exotic, and completely unique! A warm and seductive blend of vanilla, almond and backing spice, with notes of cinnamon, maple syrup, caramel, and butterscotch.
Like cinnamon, amburana contain coumarin. Do not use more than 5,000 parts per million in beverages.
Aroma Science's internationally-patented Evaporative Extraction™ technology naturally captures complex aromatics from wine and whiskey barrels to create aroma profiles that are perfect copies of the original barrel source. Use to balance and boost oak aroma in beer, wine, spirits, ciders, seltzers, and traditional, reduced proofed, and nonalcoholic ready-to-drink cocktails.
Typical recommended dosing in beer & wine is approximately 1.5-6 mL per gallon and anywhere from 6-60 mL per gallon with spirits. See AromaSciences.com for detailed dosing recommendations for Beer, Wine, and Spirits.
