The body connnects on a keg are the metal posts where the quick disconnects attach too. They should be removed for cleaning and sanitizing before each use. Ball lock kegs can come with either 11/16" body connects or 7/8" body connects. We sell deep sockets for the removal of either one. So if you do not have these sockets at home and want to make sure you can disassemble the kegs you may want to purchase both sockets below. Then you will always be covered as your keg collection grows.

The HI9146 is a rugged, portable dissolved oxygen (DO) meter designed to provide laboratory precision and accuracy under harsh environmental and industrial conditions. Application Note
During the aging process, wine can range from 6-9mg/L and when bottled most wines should be below 1.25mg/L for Red and 0.6mg/L for white. Based on specifications, the HI9146W is well suited for use during the fermentation/aging process in both beer and wine, however it is not recommended for use during the bottling process.

Polarographic Measuring System
The meter and probe use polarographic sensor technology based on the Ross and Clark polarographic measurement method. The probe is comprised of a platinum cathode and silver anode in an electrolyte solution held in place over the surfaces of the electrodes by a polymer membrane. An external voltage applied across the system establishes a current proportional to the concentration of dissolved oxygen.
Replaceable Membrane Caps
The pretensioned thin polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) membranes employ a screw cap design that can be changed quickly by simply filling with the HI7041 electrolyte fill solution and screw on the DO probe.
Automatic Calibration - Calibration can be performed at one or two points to 100% and/or 0% saturation. The 100% saturation is done in air while the 0% is done with the HI7040 bicomponent zero oxygen solution.

The HI9146 features an auto endpoint mode in which when selected the reading will frozen on the display once a stable measurement is obtained. The auto-end feature allows for consistency among various users by ensuring that stability has been achieved before recording a measurement.

Battery Error Prevention System (BEPS)
The Battery Error Prevention System detects when the batteries become too weak to ensure reliable measurements. The backlight feature is automatically disabled when batteries are getting low and a clear indication is displayed to warn the user of this condition.
Thin Polarographic Dissolved Oxygen Probe for Wine
The HI76408 is a thinner Clark-type polarographic dissolved oxygen probe for Hanna’s benchtop and portable dissolved oxygen meters. The probe is constructed of durable ABS plastic and contains an integrated temperature sensor for temperature compensated measurements. It is compatible with our HI76407A/P PTFE membrane caps. Each membrane separates the probe’s platinum cathode and silver anode from the water sample being measured. Oxygen diffuses across the membrane and interacts with the polarographic system to produce a current proportional to oxygen concentration. Each cap is easily filled with HI7041 electrolyte and screwed on to the probe. The probe’s thin design makes it ideal for wine packaging measurements.

The gummy layer of film it can leave behind on your painted walls and ceiling is no fun to clean up. And if you've been considering how to incorporate a range hood in your brewery to deal with the steam, now there's no need! Simply attach the Steam Condenser Set and run your kitchen tap or garden hose to the Duotight-compatible inlet. From the inlet, water will enter the column via a special spray head which can condense 0.42 gal (1.6 L) per minute while connected to 100 psi mains water. You'll find that a super-fast flow rate isn't necessary to cool boiling steam into liquid. Unlike the distillation process where the distillate needs to be under a certain temperature so that ethanol doesn't evaporate from the liquid at a high rate, with boiling wort you just need enough flow to form the steam back into liquid. Simple! After the steam is reformed into liquid, it will drain out of the bottom barb where you can install 3/8" ID silicone tubing. Recapture that water in a collection vessel and save it for cleaning and sanitizing! Once again, be aware that the water coming out will be very hot. Caution: You will need to remove the Steam Condenser when you reach boil to manage the hot break and ensure you don't have a boil over when you reach boiling temperatures. Once you've completed that step, you can reattach the Condenser and leave it in place for the remainder of the boil. Warning: It is important that the output tube for this steam condenser is open to atmosphere. This will allow the condensed steam to exit freely. DO NOT put a valve on the liquid output or restrict the condensed steam in any way as this may cause your brewery to develop vacuum and implode or explode.
DO NOT immerse the tube for the condensed steam in water. The outlet hose must be open to atmosphere and the drips of condensed steam must drip into your collection bucket freely.

The Copper Reflux Still Condenser is designed to create high percentage pure neutral spirit. It features a flow management device, which makes it extremely easy to use. No need to worry about fine tuning the water flow speed. As long as your providing enough coolant or cold water running through the condenser, the flow rate doesn't matter. The purity of the spirit can be controlled by two included flow control inserts. These brass inserts come with a 1.0mm hole and 0.6mm hole. As the hole gets smaller, the rate at which the spirit exits the condenser will decrease, thus increasing your reflux ratio and the purity of your spirit. Due to the tight grain and slow release of phenolic compounds, you can feel secure storing your wine in Hungarian barrels longer than you can with other barrels. The slow process of micro oxygenation rounds the wine while various compounds in the wood such hemicellulose, lipids, and lignins are slowly integrated.
As most barrel makers know, the best source of wood for wine barrels is the oak grown in the territory of old-time Hungary, known as Slavonian oak. This rare, high-quality oak can be found in the Zemplén Mountains and in the Tokaj oak woods. The specific type of oak in those territories, and what is used in Balazs barrels, is the Quercus Petrea. This oak is characterised by a dense, hard structure combined with extra flavor. Forestry workers look after these forests with considerable expertise, and the forest density ratio in Hungary is 20–24%, with selective logging taking place between November and April. Once the wood is sourced, it is air dried and aged for 24-28 months before cooperage.

Brand new aluminum 5 lb CO2 tank made from high strength aluminum alloy and high quality CGA320 valves. Because it is made of aluminum rather than steel you can feel confident that it won’t rust. It’s called a 5 lb tank because it holds 5 lbs of compressed (liquified) CO2. 5 lbs of CO2 is enough to dispense about 8 to 9x 5-gallon kegs of homebrew.
Aluminum tanks are superior to steel because they do not rust. All tanks are shipped empty. To have tanks filled you will want to visit your local welding supply shop. Because you are purchasing a new tank you can choose to either have it filled or to exchange it for a filled tank at your local gas supplier. If you have this tank filled the local gas supplier is responsible for affixing the correct neck label that identifies the gas being put in the cylinder.

It features 4 built-in submersible pumps with independent digital temperature controllers and can be used with any vessel that has a glycol jacket or submersed cooling coil/rod. Each controller includes a temperature probe that should be inserted into a thermowell in your vessel or can be taped to the outside of the vessel if you don't have a thermowell. The digital controller then measures the temperature of your tank and turns the submersible pump on or off to cool to your desired set temperature. Up to four tanks can be controlled separately with one IceMaster Max 4. Compatibility The IceMaster can be used with any fermenter that has a built-in cooling jacket, added CoolStix, or a submersed cooling coil. It works well as the cooling source for the following systems and fermenters. BrewBuilt Jacketed Uni Conical - we recommend one Insulated Tubing Kit for each tank. These kits feature "dry break" quick disconnects that prevent glycol loss and the insulated tubing will increase chilling efficiency and eliminate line sweating from condensation. CoolStix - CoolStix can be added to a wide range of carboys, fermenters, and tanks and the IceMaster works really well in combination. Each CoolStix is available with or without a pump kit; for use with the IceMaster Max 4 you will only need the CoolStix and some tubing to connect it to the chiller. Ss Brewtech Fermenters and Brites - Ss BME Chronicals, BME Brites, and Unitanks come with cooling coils and neoprene as standard. The optional chilling FTSs will not be needed for use with the Max 4. Neoprene provides a modest amount of insulation so you would obtain better results using Armaflex or a higher R rated insulation. Self Priming: This pump is capable of pumping gasses, meaning that pumping does not require priming! This makes transfers between carboys or kegs incredibly easy. Simply put both inlet and outlet hoses in a bucket of sanitizer and run the pump for a minute. You're then good to transfer your beer with your sanitized pump!
Removable Pre-Filter: This is something which is almost always necessary on diaphragm pumps, as the diaphragm itself is very delicate, and can be ruined by small solids. The pre-filter included on this pump will work to keep solids out of the pump, extending the working life of the unit. And the filter can be removed between uses for cleaning.
Heat Tolerant: All materials used in the construction of the pump tolerate temperatures up to 212°F when used with heat tolerant tubing such as silicone. Because the pump comes with vinyl tubing you would need to replace that tubing with silicone.
Speed Control: Perhaps the most unique feature is a dial control to adjust flow from 0 to 3 gallons per minute. Use it to send your wort from the kettle to the fermenter, or even after fermentation to send beer through a plate filter (such as our FIL45).
Gentle on your Beer: A diaphragm pump works by moving beer through one pulsating diaphragm into the next. It is a design that is very gentle on the liquid being pumped.
When this pump was first introduced to us, we loved the idea, but had concerns that the speed control would compromise the longevity of the motor. We've built much larger pumps and normally you need a $700 frequency drive to control motor speed. The KOMOS Deluxe Kegerator model boasts the same features as the standard model with an eye-catching stainless steel extrerior and upgraded stainless steel drip tray. The interior is designed to fit up to four 5-gallon ball lock kegs at one time. This unit represents an amazing value in home draft dispensing. It features a digital controller, stainless door and exterior, aluminum floor, rolling casters, robust KOMOS CO2 regulator, and more. This version does not include a tower kit. Great as a fermenation refrigerator or as a unit that can be built-in when adequate ventilation is an option. Approximately 4" of space on each side of the kegerator is required to allow the unit enough air. The tower is then mounted to the countertop and often a pvc collar or foam insulation is placed between the kegerator and the counter. This can also be done with any of our regular kegerators by removing the tower from the unit and mounting it on the counter. The most eye-catching difference between this unit and the previous model is definitely the capacity. This is the first kegerator we have offered that can fit up to four 5-gallon homebrew kegs at one time, and that’s all thanks to the redesigned interior. Most kegerators position the compressor on the right or left side of the inside floor, making one side shallower than the other. The KOMOS kegerator positions the compressor in the middle so both sides of the interior have an equal depth. Take, for example, the extended range digital controller with an adjustable temperature range from 26 - 82°F. This allows homebrewers to use as fermentation chamber and is something that other kegerators don't do. Although the unit does not provide heating, the extended range allows you to program the internal temperature at say an ale fermentation temp of 68°F and will provide cooling whenever the temp rises above that set point. With the insulation provided by the kegerator, heating should rarely be needed, but you can always place a low wattage heat wrap inside the unit if ever needed. The digital controller always displays the temperature and is easily adjusted from the front of the kegerator with the door closed. It's pretty nice. Aluminum tanks are superior to steel because they do not rust. All tanks are shipped empty. To have tanks filled you will want to visit your local welding supply shop. If you have this tank filled the local gas supplier is responsible for affixing the correct neck label that identifies the gas being put in the cylinder.

The all stainless hopper holds a sack of malted grain. The included stainless lid keeps dust down and keeps your hopper clean for your next batch. The mill body itself is also made from stainless steel while the 2" diameter rollers are made from hardened steel for longevity. The rollers adjust on both sides providing for a consistent, even gap the length of the rollers. The rollers are knurled in a pattern that we have found over the years to deliver a great crush and consistent feed.
We use an explosion proof motor, found on commercial mills, because grain dust can ignite if a regular electric motor was to emit a spark. It is a measure of safety to give you and your family peace of mind. The switch on this unit has been upgraded with a sturdy cover, to further diminish the chance of sparking.
The stainless stand allows for a six gallon reception bucket to be slid under to collect cracked grain. Since grain dust is to be avoided in a brewery we make the bucket-to-stand fit perfectly tight to reduce dust in your brewery. A six gallon bucket will hold 25 pounds of grain, which we have found is a manageable size to lift. For larger batches you can mill into one bucket, turn off the mill, and continue milling into the next bucket.
