Precise hydrometer for measuring the sugar content and progress of fermentation in wine ferments. Comes with a thermometer/correction scale built-in. Please Note: Due to the large size of this hydrometer, it does not work with our standard 11" or 14" hydrometer jars. We recommend using our 500mL Graduated Cylinder (MT636D) with this hydrometer.
Narrow range brix hydrometer that allows for highly accurate measurement. These hydrometers are excellent for use in the middle and towards the end of wine fermentation.
It features a built-in thermometer and correction scale for temperature correction of the reading. Thermometer measures a range of 30-150 F (0-50 C) with 1 degree resolution.
These brix hydrometers are calibrated at 68 F (20 C).
This Stainless Steel BSPP barb will connect any tubing with a 3/8" ID line to any fitting with a 3/8" Female BSPP connection.
The barb is slightly oversized at 10 mm (0.39") compared to 3/8" (0.37") which will give you a tighter connection with your tubing.
BSP vs. BSPP
BSP (or BSPT) fittings have a tapered thread and require teflon tape to form a seal between the male and female fitting. BSP fittings are generally intended to be used with their counterpart of the same thread type. ONLY 1/2" BSP fittings are compatible with US-standard NPT fittings of the same size. BSPP fittings, on the other hand, have a straight thread, require a gasket seated inside the female fitting to form a seal, and are not compatible with NPT.

The LinkTech 60PS Series is a lineup of premium plastic Quick Disconnects. These High Quality QDs are made from medical grade polypropylene, a high-strength plastic that is temperature tolerant 160° (Max!), and can handle pressure ranging from a vacuum to 60 psi. All of the 60PS Series will interconnect, and these units will also work seamlessly (and leaklessly!) with CPC Quick Disconnects of the same internal 3/8” flow path. O-rings are a EPDM Rubber, and internal valve springs are constructed from 316 Stainless steel.
This is a Female Socket, which can connect to any H501 Series Male Plug. It has a 3/8" Hose Barb on the other end for attaching any 3/8" ID tubing. This QD is equipped with a shutoff valve. When not connected to another QD, this will not allow any flow.
While not quite as bulletproof as our Stainless Steel Quick Disconnects, this lineup does offer a few advantages. These can be set up with Shutoffs, which will prevent flow when disconnected, and can be incredibly useful on Pump or Glycol systems. The pricing of these products is more economical, yet the plastic is still medical grade. All in all, these are a premium lineup of quick disconnects with great features and lots of options.

F-2 was specifically selected for secondary fermentation in bottle and in cask
Neutral aroma profile and high alcohol resistance make it perfect for refermentation bottle conditioning
Sticks well at the bottom of the bottles/casks
Fermentis active dry yeast offers reliability, ease-of-use, and consistency to home and professional beverage makers across the world
SafAle™ F-2 is specifically selected for secondary fermentation in bottle and in cask. This yeast assimilates very little maltotriose but assimilates basic sugars (glucose, fructose, saccharose, maltose) and is characterized by a neutral aroma profile respecting the base beer character. Its neutral aroma profile, high alcohol resistance and stickiness characteristics make it a perfect match for consistent re-fermentation in bottle and cask.
SafAle™ F-2 resists to high alcohol levels (>10% v/v) and allows brewers to obtain all the properties of refermentation such as:
Beer preservation thanks to oxygen trapping
Contribution in roundness and maturation aromas
Carbonation
Sticks well at the bottom of the bottles/casks and forms a nice haze when it is resuspended
Usage:
Add 19 to 38 grams of sugar per gallon of beer (5 to 10 grams of sugar per liter) to obtain a saturation of 2.5 to 5.0 g/l of CO2
Pitch the sweetened beer, that should be at fermentation temperature (68-77°F / 20-25°C) with the rehydrated yeast. Carbonation will be achieved in 1 to 2 weeks at 68-77°F. Carbonation at 59°F can take over 2 weeks
At the end of refermentation, the beer can be cooled down and will gain in roundness after 2 to 3 weeks
Please note: Example image shows a 20g sachet. The correct size is 25g. Updated image coming soon.

This carboy thermowell is used in conjunction with a Digital Controller, FE601, FE601A, FE602, or FE611, to more accurately regulate internal temperature during fermentation. It is exceptionally useful during the start of fermentation when the lag between ambient temperature in the refrigerator and actual temperature in the carboy can vary greatly. Now you can keep your beer or wine within one degree of the set point on your digital controller. Designed to fit 3, 5,6, and 6.5 gallon glass smooth neck carboys, as well as 5 and 6 gallon plastic carboys, the unit comes with a 15" stainless steel thermowell and a carboy hood that will accommodate a standard airlock or 1/2 inch blow off tubing.
Will not work with the Analog Johnson Temperature Controller (FE600) because the probe is too large. This unit has been redesigned to work with 2016 Ranco Probes.
TIP: Carboy hoods are exceptionally useful for blowoff tubes. Just add 3' of 1/2" racking tubing into a bucket of water as your airlock.
Inner Diameter of Thermowell: Slightly larger than 1/4"

Yeast across the World have a new best friend, the OxyWand™. Insert the areation wand into your fermenter and pump in thousands of microscopic oxygen bubbles for 1-2 minutes to improve the health of your yeast. Healthy yeast produce amazing flavors and have the stamina to completely finish fermentation.
That is not the only reason yeast love the OxyWand™. Yeast hate to compete with bacteria and you hate to drink them. Sintered stainless stones are made of tightly compressed stainless steel powder to create a porous block through which oxygen can flow. This micro maze is also the perfect environment for bacteria to live in after the stone has been used once in wort. That is why we love to boil our stones prior to use. The stone on the OxyWand™ is connected via a 1/4" flare fitting and can easily be removed and cleaned after use and then boiled before your next brew day.
The assembly is 26" long and will easily reach the bottom of glass carboys, dropped into stainless conicals, Speidel fermenters, etc. The 2 micron size stone works well with both compressed oxygen or aeration pumps. You will want to use 1/4" tubing. See the recommended regulator below to connect to disposable style compressed oxygen cylinders available from your local hardware store. See the high-pressure, deep water style air pump to use with regular air.
The advantage of using compressed oxygen to oxygenate is speed - you can oxygenate your wort in 60 seconds as opposed to 30-120 minutes with aeration. The advantage of using a pump for aeration is cost - you never have to buy compressed oxygen cylinders.
