Use this dual gauge nitrogen regulator to connect a tank of Beer Gas mix (70% Nitorgen/30% CO2) to your keg for an authentic nitro-pour! Traditionally used for stouts and porters, a nitro pour is becoming popular with more and more beer styles, lending its signature creamy mouthfeel and head to the beer. An amazing upgrade to any brewer's draft system.
Made in the USA by Taprite. 5/16" barb.
Protect your regulator from damage in the event your tank gets knocked over. A Gauge Cage is cheap insurance that can help save you a costly regulator replacement.
Mounting bolt and washer included.
CO2 and Nitrogen tanks, especially the 5lb size most brewers use, are notoriously wobbly and easy to knock over once the regulator is mounted on them. This handy Gauge Cage helps protect the gauges themselves, as well as the fragile points where they thread into the regulator body, from damage in case of a fall.
Specifically sized to fit our D1060 and D1070 Taprite brand ragulators, these cages may not fit some budget regulators manufactured overseas.
This smaller Bordeaux bottle offers the classic shape in a size that's half the volume
Antique green glass color is often preferred for red wines to protect them from light during long term storage
Farro Glass offers a full lineup of the most essential and commonly used bottles in winemaking
A half volume option for the most popular wine bottle in the world. As the name suggests, the Bordeaux bottle (also known as a Claret bottle) originates from the Bordeaux region of France. Easily identified by its wide shoulders and straight body, this bottle style comes in a variety of colors and is suitable for a myriad of wine styles. Brown and dark green are commonly used for reds to protect them from light during long storage periods, while light green and flint are most often used only for white wines that will be consumed much sooner after bottling. This Stainless Steel BSPP barb will connect any tubing with a 3/8" ID line to any fitting with a 3/8" Female BSPP connection.
The barb is slightly oversized at 10 mm (0.39") compared to 3/8" (0.37") which will give you a tighter connection with your tubing.
BSP vs. BSPP
BSP (or BSPT) fittings have a tapered thread and require teflon tape to form a seal between the male and female fitting. BSP fittings are generally intended to be used with their counterpart of the same thread type. ONLY 1/2" BSP fittings are compatible with US-standard NPT fittings of the same size. BSPP fittings, on the other hand, have a straight thread, require a gasket seated inside the female fitting to form a seal, and are not compatible with NPT.
