(Makes 5 gallons) This fest beer, historically brewed in spring and aged in cold caves over the summer, is a copper colored Lager with an emphasis on that German malt flavor. Our recipe achieves that malt flavor with lots of Munich malt. The use of Caravienne and Caramunich malts contribute the copper color and a unique subdued toffee/malt flavor.
