Designed by Speidel and MoreWine! Pro specifically for high-quality, small-lot, red wine fermentation. Modeled after stainless fermentation tanks used in Napa, Sonoma, the North Coast, and elsewhere throughout California but with specific upgrades that set this tank apart. These are tippable tanks which allow you ferment, pump out the juice through the embedded filter screen, and dump remaining skins into your press.  The built in, full-coverage cooling jacket allows for temperature control which is critical for making the very best reds.  An optional variable volume lid allows you to use the tanks for storage after fermentation and can also make extended maceration far more safe.

    Quality
All the famous quality features German made Speidel tanks are famous for. The 2R finish is the best in the industry and can be cleaned quickly with cold water, saving valuable time during harvest. Amazing weld seams eliminate pockets for bacteria to hide.  Speidel only uses the highest quality stainless steel and offers a 25-year warranty on all tanks.  The marbled outside does not show dirt or smears, always looks good and is visually impressive.

Built-In Screen for Free Run Pump Out
The manway has a removable screen on the backside.  This allows you to connect to the tri-clamp fitting welded into the manway and pump out all the free run juice before dumping in the press. Alternatively, if you are not going to tip the tank, the manway is still handy for easily removing skins.  The internal perforated screen is discretely mounted on the inside of the manway, allowing it to be out of the way during punch downs. When you swing the door open after the tank is empty, the screen is easily removed for cleaning.

    Cooling
The full coverage cooling jacket allows you to control fermentation temperature for long contact, controlled fermentations. Alternatively in cold environments the jacket allows you to heat.

    Useful after Harvest
With the built in cooling jacket and an optional variable volume lid, this tank can be used for wine storage after the harvest. This enables the tank to be utilized year round whereas some wineries use their fermentation tanks only during crush season and never again through the rest of the year.
