Mead Equipment - 5 Gallon

If you're not currently a homebrewer this kit includes all the necessary equipment to make 5 gallons of mead at home.
This kit assumes you already have a 5 gallon kettle or larger.
You might also need a 5 gallon plastic carboy if you're going to make a fruit mead. This carboy will be used for racking from your primary fermenter to a secondary for clarification and settling of yeast.
Make sure secondary carboy is filled 1-2" from the airlock for minimal oxygen exposure. You can use our glass marbles or top up with distilled water to fill head space.
