Ultralight Malt Extract

Made by Briess, this malt extract is made from 2-row malt and a little bit of CaraPils to aid in body and heat retention. It is one of the lightest malt extract available, and is what we use as a base for most of our ingredient kits. It never lasts longer than a few weeks in our shop, where we package it in oxygen barrier mylar bags. Does fresh extract make a difference ... decide for yourself!

We recommend customers to store their extract in the refrigerator if they do not plan on using it within 3-4 weeks.
