Speakeasy's 3rd. Anniversary Ale - Extract Beer Kit KIT780
(Makes 5 gallons) Speakeasy is a thriving Microbrewery located in San Francisco, California. The brewery was started in 1996 by homebrewers, Steve Bruce, Mike Bruce, Forest Gray and Eric Chang. Prior to starting the brewery Steve, Mike and Eric owned a homebrew supply shop and Forest was one of their customers! The four teamed together to form Speakeasy Brewery, specializing in big, flavorful beers that reflect upon their homebrewing creativity. Currenty four styles of beer are produced on a regular basis, Prohibition Ale, Big Daddy IPA, Untouchable Pale Ale, and Satchmo Stout. Always a favorite among our employees, Speakeasy beers can be found on tap and in the bottle throughout Northern California and in a growing number of locations in Southern California. Soon they will have distribution in other states as well. Visit them at www.goodbeer.com.
A very hoppy Pale Ale that was brewed for Speakeasy's Third Anniversary Party. This beer was very well received by beer loving 'hop heads'! Features Magnum for bittering and a unique combination of Vanguard and Cascade in the finish. This is a straw-colored beer, that like their regular IPA and Pale Ale, is all about the hops mixing with a light-colored, smooth malt base. The guys recommend using White Labs California Yeast, WLP001.
