Doppelbock - All Grain Beer Kit (Advanced)

(Makes 5 gallons) We are in general agreement in the shop, this is the recipe for the best Bock we have ever tasted. The secret to great Bock is to use high percentages of Munich malt, if decoction brewing is not an option. We'd also like to mention that, because this is such a huge beer (over 17lbs of grain), it would usually max out most 5 gallon mash tuns. Due to this, we've added a very small amount of DME to get the original gravity to where it needs to be.
