If you choked on the price check out KEG950 because essentially they do the same thing. However the mini-regulator is the coolest product in this catalog under 1 lb as voted upon by B3 Staffers. Check out the electronic temperature gauge with lazer pointer on page 36 for the runner up. Why so cool? The mini-reg features total portability with all the features of a full size regulator. Basically when you put lots of features in a very small package the price goes up and this is no exception. The regulator has a range of .5-1.5 bars which equivocates to 7-21 p.s.i.. This means that unlike KEG950 that shoots in CO2 at an indescriminate amount, the mini-reg allows you precisely dial in pressure and keep it there. It utilizes its own disposable 68 gram CO2 cartridge, which is the largest size that can be shipped full. One 68 gram cartridge will dispense 1-2 5 gallon kegs. Comes with regulator, one gas in quick disconnect and the associated hardware. 68 gram CO2 cartridges, KEG962 are available separately. Your brew buddies definitely don't have this!
