The B3-1000 is a popular size for all grain brewing. With most all grain homebrewers
wishing to make 10 gallons at a time this system fills the need. Just like the
B3-500, the B3-1000 comes with all the bells and whistles.
The triangulated base with the correct bracing makes it very sturdy, yet light
enough that it is still easy to move around. It will fit under an 8? ceiling
with the hot liquor tank in place and will fit through any standard door, from
a width standpoint.
The kettles have a maximum capacity of 14 gallons, leaving plenty of space for
10 gallon batches.
The burners are 55,000 btu, so this system gets going quickly. You will not
be waiting long for mash and sparge water to heat!
With the B3-1000 you have the option of doing 5 or 10 gallons at a time. If
you think you will be doing some 5 gallon batches be sure to request our unique
5/10 split Superchiller at no extra cost. A wort chiller designed to optimally
cool 5 or 10 gallons.
The beauty of this system is simplicity. Because gravity is used to transfer
fluids you will never encounter a pump failure. The down side of that is the
overall height.
