Go-Ferm (100 g) AD342A
Go-Ferm is a natural yeast nutrient that is added to yeast hydration water before adding your selected yeast strain. Its complex formula provides your yeast with the proper micronutrients to feed your yeast and allow them to create healthy cells. The great thing about Go-Ferm is that the proper nutrients and vitamins are introduced BEFORE the yeast is added to the must. This way the nutrients are in a higher concentration and can be more easily absorbed by the cells. Go-Ferm is particularly effective for helping the yeast survive in high alcohol situations.
The rate of useage of Go-Ferm is 1.25 grams per 1 gram of yeast, which should then be mixed with 17 mls of H2O per one gallon of must. Does not contain any DAP, as DAP could be harmful to the yeast during the rehydration process. GO-Ferm is usually used in conjunction with Fermaid K, where Fermaid K is added after 1/3 sugar depletion.
