The B3-500 Sculpture is a sweet system. The Mercedes of five gallon brew systems.
Similar in form and function to the 250, the 500 comes with all the good stuff
up front.
The B3-500 stand looks exceptionally clean because all external welds are ground
before painting. This provides for a more professional look. The mashtun and
hot liquor tanks feature our new built in bi-metal thermometers for reliable,
continuous temperature readings. The hot liquor tank also has a glass sight gauge
that makes measuring and monitoring water a breeze.
The burners are 55,000 btu, with great flame control yet plenty of kick for
this batch size.
The chiller is oversized for 5 gallons and features 25? of 1/2" tubing,
which chills really fast.
We use the B3-500 for giving all grain classes because it is so usable. You
can stand on the ground and dump your grist into the mash tun. To check and
see how the mash is going just open the lid - no step ladder necessary. Because
the 500 is so simple, small and fully loaded, it is really a pleasure to use.
