MoreBeer!'s Old Ale kit has a nice richness and complexity that you don't find with most Old Ales. We include 1 pound of Belgian Dark Candi Syrup to highlight the dried fruit and soft sugar flavors of this style. The crystal malts provide a great caramel backbone, perfect for aging for about 4-6 months.
Tip: try aging this beer on 1-2 oz of French or Hungarian Oak Cubes for a great old world flavor!
