MoreBeer! is pleased to announce our 5th Annual forum competition. In the past, we have only had this open to members of our online forum, but with the introduction of The Buzz, we will be including both platforms into the competition.

There are some prize changes this year, beginning with our Stainless Brewer segment - this will be put on hold for 2009, due to some schedualing issues. Look forward to it returning for 2010, however. The most exciting change is to the Best of Show winner - Morebeer! is awarding the Best of Show brewer a newly redesigned 12.2 gallon conical!

Forum Competition 2009 - Entry Instructions and Regulations.

Judges will be judging all beer styles in BJCP Categories 1 through 23 (see the BJCP website for more information on these categories).

Submit two, 12 ounce brown bottles, with no distinguishing marks on the bottle or cap. Well blacked out caps are OK.

Entrant Information Form: Please complete this form ONE TIME ONLY for each entrant. A forum sign in “handle” and account are required for entry.

Only one entry per entrant per BJCP sub category.

Bottle Labels: Cut out the bottle labels and affix a Bottle Label with the requisite information to each bottle with (2) rubber bands. Do not use more than 2 rubber bands per bottle. Be sure to include the BJCP category code (e.g. 2B for Bohemian Pilsner), the Style Name, and any additional information needed. Please ensure that the information on the Bottle Label matches that on the Entry Listing and Entrant Information Forms. There is no limit on the number of entries an individual may submit. Enclose a check for the total amount of your entries. The entry cost is $4 per entry (checks only please, made out to “MoreFlavor”).

All entries sent through the mail should be sent to MoreBeer! c/o Forum Competition 975 Detroit Ave, Unit H Concord, CA 94518. Please do NOT send entires to our other retail locations - any beers sent to Riverside or Los Altos will not be allowed into the competition.

Pack your entries carefully and time them to arrive between Monday, August 10^th to Wednesday, August 19^th. Final judging is on Saturday, August 22nd

After August 22th, we will post the results as soon as possible on our website (www.morebeer.com/forumcomp). Names are listed only if an entry is one of the top three in a given category. Click here for 2009 Winners List
