Beer Ingredient Kits

Our Beer Making Recipe Kits are broken into three main catagories Malt Extract Kits, Mini-Mash Kits, and All-Grain Kits. All of MoreBeer! Beer Ingredient kits are time tested and made fresh for your order. Unless requested, the grain in your beer kits will come milled (cracked and ready to go). Each beer kit comes with the estimated Starting Gravity, Color Range, IBU levels, and suggested fermentation temperature.

A Word About Beer Yeast:
You will need to select a beer yeast in addition to purchasing your Beer Ingredient Kit. If you are not sure which one to choose, each Beer Ingredient Kit comes with recommendations for our best selling beer yeast for that kit.

This is what a majority of brewers are looking for. Malt Extract Kits usually include:

Malt extract in liquid and/or dry form
Milled flavoring grains & other specialty ingredients, as required
Multiple additions of hops
Whirlfloc - for clarifying
Corn sugar - for bottling

The Mini Mash brewing process can be thought of as mid-way between Malt Extract and All Grain brewing. These kits include:

Malt extract in liquid and/or dry form
Milled base and flavoring grains & other specialty ingredients, as required
Multiple additions of hops
Whirlfloc - for clarifying
Corn sugar - for bottling

All Grain Brewing is the ultimate in control, however, you will need extra equipment such as a mash tun and hot liquor tank to make it work. Also, you will need a full size boil kettle and wort chiller if you don't have one already. These kits include:

Milled Base Malt (usually >80% of grains)
Milled Specialty Malts
Multiple additions of hops
Whirlfloc - for clarifying
Corn sugar - for bottling
