Description

Our Whiskey Distillery Yeast is a pure culture Whiskey Strain of Saccharomyces Cerevisiae used widely in commercial whiskey production, with robust and authentic aromatics even in high-alcohol fermentations. Includes the advantage of complete nutrition and amyloglucosidase. This enables both complete dextrin conversion of malt or grain for maximum yield as well as rapid fermentation to 15% ABV which is very high for standard whiskey low beers. Sufficient for 6.6 gallon fermentation.

6 gallon buckets. Excellent yeast, been using it for years.
Temperature is the main thing.

works
Very disappointed with Star Dady Yeast that stopped working in two days. Bought this and the potential alcohol droped from 12% to 0% in three days. Will buy more.

Better Whiskey
WHAT A DIFFERENCE !!! I've used several turbo yeasts. This strain starts slow and paces itself for over a week for a nice clean product with no yeast after taste.
I'M LIKING IT !!!

Whiskey distiller's yeast
This is the best product I've ever used. I usually ferment a 1.065-1.070 mash and it will go down to .999 in 3-5 days. The flavor it produces is awesome...but you don't want the f.g. to go lower that aforementioned...and it will, unless you terminate fermentation.

This is a fantastic product, and use it all the time.
