(General AA Range 16-19%) Summit is a fairly new high-alpha American hop variety with strong orange and tangerine citrus notes in its flavor, making it ideal for brewing American style IPAs (especially DIPAs) and Pale Ales. It is typically used as a bittering hop but can be used for an excellent aroma as a dry hop. It is also a fine substitute for Cascade or Amarillo.
