Does the DVD cover his dry hopping regimen? I know at least he used to use slurries, 3 days only, then crashed. Interested in finding our more particulars. Thanks.

BEST ANSWER: Hi Paul - this website (http://thebottlefarm.com/wpbottle/reviewing-homebrew-u-the-perfect-american-pale-ale-with-matt-brynildson/) references the DVD: "They recommend dry hopping before fermentation has finished out. After transfer to secondary, but before fully attenuated, leaving about 1p (4 sg points) left so that yeast can scavenge any oxygen incorporated during Dry hopping. These concepts alone should be enough to give you a solid starting point."

Also, this website (http://www.labeerfan.com/blog/2016/4/3/how-to-dry-hop) gets very detailed on dry hopping.

This DVD about PA is BA
I've watched it 4 times and I'm still picking up nerdy details about brewing a great pale ale. A thorough explanation of the grain bill, mash temps, and the reasons WHY certain variables are chosen are all covered. You'll watch the video, plug the recipe into your favorite software, and be tempted to change it because the IBUs don't seem right. I know I did. Don't change it. Trust in The Brynildson. He will show you the path, all you have to do is walk it.

The extras are great too, yeast starter instructions with Doc, food pairing tips with Pax, drool footage of a morebeer sculpture with Chris Graham, what's not to love?!

DO IT. Then do it again.
