Our Regional Series Brazil Minas Gerais Pulped Natural coffee is from a region known for caramel and chocolaty aromas, low-key and delicate acidity, nutty, caramel, spicy, and chocolaty flavors, medium-light to medium body, and a smooth finish.
In the Pulped Natural method, the cherries are passed through a screen to remove the skin and some of the coffee pulp immediately after harvesting, but then beans with the leftover pulp are placed in the sun to dry. The remaining dried pulp is later stripped off by machine. This process is a hybrid method between wet- and dry-processing, and is most common in Brazil, Sumatra, and Sulawesi.
Our Regional Series are coffees from the most famous and well regarded coffee-growing regions from around the world. These coffees highlight the typical flavors, aromas, and essential characteristics of the particular region and/or sub regions.
