A great option when you plan on using whole hops. A stainless perforated screen with handle that sits on the bottom of the kettle above the valve. Keeps whole hops in the kettle so they don't clog the valve. It can also be nice to keeps bags of pellet hops from hitting the true bottom of the kettle. Great for spices as well.
