These work amazingly well. After losing a lot of CO2 with those funky plastic fittings, I tried these. No leaking, even on old kegs with less than perfect posts.

Does this fit a standard corny keg?
Jack Thomsen on Dec 26, 2019
BEST ANSWER: It does. I have several and use them with two types of coney kegs and the ball lock gas adapters for sankey taps with no problems. However, it will not fit Torpedo kegs as it does not lock into place.
Do these disassemble like plastic ones, or do you just soak them in cleaner?

Ball Lock Quick Disconnect (QD) Gas In (Stainless) - Flared
Ball Lock Quick Disconnect (QD) Bev Out (Stainless) - Flared
Ball Lock Quick Disconnect (QD) Bev Out (Stainless) - Flared
BEST ANSWER: Yes, they are disassembled like the plastic ones, the knurled areas are for grasping with a pliers or such. Poppets and gaskets can be removed and soaked/cleaned.
How do you disassemble to clean?
Scott Nydam on Dec 16, 2021
BEST ANSWER: It is pretty easy to disassemble and clean. Not sure how specially to answer your question. There is an internal tread that allows you to disassemble all the interior parts.
Is the top a screw fitting? Is there an adapter so that I can just screw on the existing beer and gas fittings that I already have that screw on to my D-Style keg coupler?
Brian Biggs on Mar 2, 2024
BEST ANSWER: "top" is a 1/4 inch flare type connection. If your end has a nut and a matching dished out female part, you are all set. Other option if not flare might be to use hose barbs and clamps.
Do you need an o ring/gasket to connect to the swivel nut? Metal to metal correct?
Erik Schuster on Mar 18, 2022
BEST ANSWER: It is not an "O" ring, but a nylon seat that is needed. Some female fitting have this already built in, many do not so you will need to add it. Search "Flare Fitting Washer" on the More Beer site if the product attachment dose not work. Always remember to "Relax. Don't Worry. Have a Home Brew!"

Excellent fitting
Excellent fitting. I got tired of the white plastic ones leaking and emptying my CO2 tank. This stainless one is not much pricier, and has already paid for itself by not leaking.

Corroded in StarSan.
They are not 100% stainless steel, I left mine in a StarSan solution too long and the release ring corroded.

The Best Disconnects in my opinion!
The Best Disconnects in my opinion! I have about 20 of the standard gray and black plastic disconnects and after 2 - 5 gallon kegs emptying into the keezer and 3 - 10 gallon CO2 tanks emptying overnight over the past few years, I had it and bought these and will never look back as I already had a 2 sets and they never have issues.

Easy clean, no leaks.
Nice ball lock fitting. I have been using the plastic ones with no problems but wanted to upgrade. Happy I did because it seems easier to connect and disconnect and easy to clean with no leakage.
