Description
  • A24 is A blend of two highly popular yeast strains—A20 Citrus & A04 Barbarian. Well suited for hop forward beers
  • Produces amazing aromas of citrus, peach, and apricot that will accentuate your IPA, pale ale, and any other hop-driven beer
  • Double pitch size with a minimum of 200 billion cells—twice the size of the standard yeast pitch
  • Imperial Yeast is a group of hard-working, fermentation fanatics who provide the brewing industry with the highest quality, most effective yeast possible

A20 Citrus plus A04 Barbarian equals A24 Dry Hop. When this blend gets going on your hoppy beer, the hop aroma explodes. The unique yeast strain combination will produce incredible aromas of peach, apricot and citurus that will underscore pale ales, IPAs, and any other hop driven brew.

Flocculation: Medium
Alcohol Tolerance: 10% ABV
Optimum Fermentation Temp: 64-74°F
Cell Count: 200 Billion

NEIPA!
Absolute best NEIPA yeast I've used so far. So far I've been able to harvest 3 generations, and it's still going strong. I use a 7 gallon SS Brew Bucket with about 6.5 gallons of wort going in and no blowoffs. (I do use a blow off tube just in case, but I'm not 100% sure you need one. I always do one with my neipas.)

This batch (3rd gen), I'm getting peach and strawberry esters. Not sure if it's the yeast or the hop combo I used, but it's my favorite batch so far! LOVE Imperial yeasts!

House IPA Yeast
I've used this yeast multiple times on a Millennium/Falconers Flight IPA and it pairs perfectly. Push this yeast above 70 degrees and it gives off some wonderful phenols.

I've also easily gotten attenuation at 80% or higher the last three times, it's a workhorse!

Sent me yeast that is almost 3 months old
The Imperial yeast says to use this yeast within 3 months of Mfg date. Morebeer just sent me a package that is within days of the 3 months from Mfg date. The other package of Wyeast they sent me is 4 1/2 months from Mfg date. Come on Morebeer....I think you can do better than send out yeast that is this old. You may consider discounting the Old yeast in your inventory like they do for time sensitive meats, etc. in the grocery store. Or, have some type of notification on the website that you are purchasing yeast that is soon to expire.

Great match for my DDH NE style double ipa
Love the esters and phenols in this one. Double ipa was no match for this yeast. Fermented at 67 degrees.
